I bought a cake for $169.94 and it's inedible. The cake is half baked and super dense. The icing is pure butter, there's no sweetness. For that price, I was expecting a decent cake, but this is ridiculous. It's hard on the inside and the icing comes right off because it's pure fat/butter and tastes like it, too.
EDIT: Instead of acknowledging that they messed up the batch, they just make excuses and won't refund anything. For $170 cake, this place is pathetic. Take your business elsewhere. These guys don't know how to bake and have no idea what they're doing. Their reply to me is as follows:
"If there would have been an issue with the cake, we would have received other complaints as well. We guarantee that the cake was 100% fresh made with great ingredients.
Costco, no frills, metro cakes start from $6 which is less than a stick of butter. I understand that this was a disappointing experience, but because there was nothing wrong with the cake during production or delivery, we won't be able to issue a refund.

Costco cakes are $40-50 and you get quality from them. These guys are a fraud. They use months-old cakes that sit in their fridge and make any excuse up to keep your money when they under-deliver.
