Cuperus Katelijne - Koffiebar & winkel

This is probably the best study/work coffee shop I’ve been to! The atmosphere is very relaxing and cozy, their drinks and snacks are delicious and their study tables are very convenient to work on. The people who work there are always very nice and super friendly! There’s also plenty of space to sit (however sometimes it can get pretty full). I definitely recommend trying this coffee shop out, even if you don’t intend to study or work!

Very modern style and well thought interior design of this place. There are multiple levels with tables ranging from small to shared long tables. The open space downstairs has a long counter for coffee orders on one side, and coffee beans and related products shop on the other side. Good choice of coffee and cakes, chilled atmosphere.

Modern coffee shop with a cool vibe and excellent lattes!! Multi level so plenty of room to enjoy your coffee! Benches with the pillows are comfy and there are lots of plugs to charge your devices. Bathroom is clean with nice reading materials on the walls.

Lovely atmosphere, baristas are really sweet! Coffee tastes great and so do desserts. A lot of light and plants, really cool and well-organized space, and they also sell tea and coffee. The only one issue that I have is that it’s a bit too hot on the second floor, even on a rainy day.

Nice, huge coffee place in the street next to Meir. Perfect for after a busy shopping day or to recharge batteries. Also good place to work, as there are many sockets next to the tables. Atmosphere is very comfortable and smooth. Only downside is that if you are sitting upstairs, you should carry your coffee upstairs yourself which can be quite tricky.

Great place in the center of Antwerp to work on your own, but also to connect and collaborate with others. Huge choice of coffee and tea. You can always refill the hot water for tea on request. Free wifi works great, even on the upper floor. Not al plugs were working properly, but that is not a big deal. Love the atmosphere and all the plants. I was also able to connect with others and get to know more about Belgium and Antwerp. Service is super kind and young (students I guess). Mostly students at this place in general. Not really hectic like at Starbucks and more relaxed working atmosphere. Price wise also fine. Ideal public working space.

Really good cafe. You can buy coffee and tea in bulk also. The stuff is friendly and the decoration very good. In the 2nd floor there is also a place that they teach you how to make coffee or tea (I imagine they offer some workshops or something). The prices are very good and for some products there is a refill option for 0,50 or 1 € which I've never seen anywhere else. And lastly you can get free water on the basement next to the cashier something that I thing all places should have.

My first cup of coffee in Antwerp did not disappoint. The perfect balance of espresso, steamed milk and foam paired with a warmed toasted croissant. The lines were long as everyone was eagerly awaiting their coffee. The aesthetics characterized by its simplicity, clean lines met with a monochromatic palette colour used as an accent. This combined an open floor plan, lots of big windows and bright light, with a minimalist functional design. The upstairs showcased a clean workspace for students and professionals alike. The ceiling to floor windows drew you into the bustle of the city streets.

Great coffee, great vibe. One of our favorite things to do while visiting new places is to start the day by checking out a new coffee shop. We're not coffee connoisseurs by any means, but a good cup of coffee is a good cup of coffee. Cuperus serves a good cup of coffee (& chai!). We ended up here on our last day in Antwerp, as it was literally around the corner from the Airbnb we were staying in (also included this info on the Airbnb review!). There was 1 guy working, who was h.a.n.d.l.i.n.g-i.t. We bought several bags of coffee to bring home with us & have been enjoying Cuperus ever since!

Their latte and Chia latte are the best. Very smooth and delicious. We will visit this cafe every time we come to Antwerp. You can get your black coffee refills for €1 extra which is pretty good deal. Their pastry selection is small but they are fresh and tasty. Few seating available on the first floor, and some tables are on the second floor. I highly recommended this place.

Sat down for a quick coffee. Had an Ethiopian coffee which was very fruity and acidic. The cafe had a nice atmosphere, relaxed and had comfy sofa seats with lots of pillows. Also tried a cheesecake that matched the coffee really well

Love this coffee shop!!! Smooth and silky cappuccinos and amazing loose leaf teas. Cool salon with lots of natural light and cool decor. Free wifi available as well. Enjoy!!

Where Man Met Bril lacks, Cuperus got it. I think the best Latte Macchiato I've had in Europe is here. The key to Cafe Latte/ Latte Macchiato's perfection partly lies on the freshness of the milk. The milk that was used in my Latte Macchiato at Cuperus is near perfection. It was snafu rally sweet and creamy. The foam was steamed to perfection. They also serve ice-dripped coffee which I cannot find in the Netherlands yet. The ice-dripped coffee (apparently invented by a Dutch man but was brought to Asia) can hardly be found in Europe. It's not as developed as in Brooklyn or Asia but I finally found a place that serves it in the Benelux area. The service was excellent. The prices are really affordable especially for the quality they have. I will most likely visit it more often. If you visit Antwerp and you're into the coffee culture, this coffee house is definitely a must.

Great Coffee and they have a wide selection. The atmosphere is great too. After your coffee, you can buy a wide arrangement of coffee, tea, chocolate and accessories. The barista course was also really helpful and I learned a lot here. Only thing is... I commute by bike and there is no place to lock your bike

De beste koffiebar van Antwerpen Centrum! Dicht bij de winkels op de Meir en de Huidevetterstraat en dicht bij de Groenplaats. Ideale ligging dus, een zeer aangename plaats om te zitten en helemaal boven zitten is top! Ofwel zit je aan de grote ramen ofwel aan een van de twee grote tafels. Er zijn stopcontacten en USB-poortjes voorzien en er is gratis internet (zalig). Je kan hier rustig van een koffietje of een theetje komen genieten maar je kan er bv. als student evengoed komen werken/studeren/vergaderen. Toptip: de Lait Russe (koffie verkeerd) is de beste die je in Antwerpen zal drinken. Verder kan je ook gebakjes krijgen, koffie en/of thee kopen en je vindt er ook accessoires zoals theepotten, thermossen, enz. Het personeel is trouwens erg vriendelijk! Als je houdt van goede lekkere koffie/thee dan is Cuperus zeker jouw bezoek waard ;-) Enjoy!

Hands down my favorite coffee place in all of the world. Happened upon this place by chance. All I could muster as I walked into this shop was embarrassingly "OMG THIS PLACE IS SO CUTE".. We sat by the bar, drank our lattes/chocochinos and watched the baristas and owner try some tea, which they ended up letting us taste! Also ended up buying a bunch of coffee beans here. What is so interesting about the places in Antwerp is that many stores are a mix of different tastes. For example, there's a hair salon on the third floor of the cafe...just out in the open! Basically, I visited this place at least once on each day I stayed in Antwerp. Enough. :)

I spent a Saturday afternoon at Cuperus drinking a great black coffee with a friend Lovely place, a big space, beautiful pictures on the wall, nice staff :) Highly recommended

Great coffee, nice loft areas upstairs, airy, large floor to ceiling windows with power points so you can charge and use your devices. Good price for the quality..

Wonderful and peaceful place to rest whilst walking around in Antwerp. Iced latte and ice tea hit the spot in a hot summer day. Cakes looked delicious. Also sells coffee beans, wide selection of teas, and small selection of chocolates.

Best coffee I've found in Antwerp. The slow drip is very good, albeit a little weak compared to US coffee shops.

Great place for quality coffee and tea, and a perfect spot if you're into working in cafés. Cuperus is located in a beautifully renovated building. Their nicest seating area is upstairs, but downstairs at the bar is where the magic happens. They roast their own coffee, make award winning latte art, and have the best, most flavourful espresso doppio I've had anywhere. This is by far the best coffee bar of central Antwerp. The staff is cheerful and friendly, they offer great advice, and the prices are surprisingly low (espresso 1.60, doppio 1.80, tea 1.80, capuccino 2.20, same price with soy milk).
