Curacao Marriott Beach Resort

Couldn't be happier with our stay here! We spent 7 days at this resort and the service and amenities here were unmatched on such a beautiful property, pictures don't do it justice. We did have a couple issues when we checked into our room but the staff found us quick solutions to keep us comfortable. Our AC was out and they moved us to another room to sleep for the night as it wasn't able to be repaired until the morning. I noted to the staff that our drink cooler also wasnt working and they were thoughtful enough to bring us a whole mini fridge to use for the week. The food and drinks are also great. The property and beach are maintained really well. The gym is spacious and well equipped. There is free gated parking. Location is perfect and 10 minutes into downtown Willemstad and approximately 30 minutes from all the best beaches. The staff are friendly and warm, a true reflection of the people of Curaçao. Thank you for making our vacation so great, can't wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed this resort and Curacoa!! The open aired “lobby” and its bar, Zala Gastro Lounge, was where we ate sushi regularly and where at night we were treated to local musician was perfect. The manager there always so tentative. The bar on the beach, The Salty Iguana had cold drinks, great lunch and beautiful views with two, and more, fabulous bartenders particularly Jaymy and his son Josh, who made our stay there and our daily visits to the bar memorable. A shout out to Oswalda, the night manager at Salty’s at the Beach, who went above and beyond for our needs. Everyone from the check in staff to valet, from the moment we check in and checked out, were so warm and friendly. The resort itself was spotless including our oceanfront room! Kudos to the cleaning staff. Beach was beautiful and lounge chairs always accessible.

Pros: The room itself was clean and did not smell musty. The location is okay, but a car is definitely needed. There is a gym, one main sit-down restaurant, a bar restaurant, a small coffee/snack shop, and a beach/pool grill. Overall, the stay was fine. Cons & accuracy issues: The property felt overcrowded over Christmas, with not enough beach or pool chairs. Cleaning around the grounds could have been better; we regularly saw plastic and wrappers on the small beach. Some reviews mention four restaurants, which felt misleading—this was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel for the holidays, yet dining options were very limited. We ate at the JFK restaurant once on December 24, then had to leave the property on Christmas Day for dinner, which defeated the purpose of staying on-site for convenience. Organization & atmosphere: This was not a relaxing experience overall. One day we didn’t get to the pool until 9:00 a.m. and ended up at the main pool. Guests were yelling after someone moved belongings to take chairs, and the hotel had no visible system or staff management in place. On December 26, staff began checking room numbers at the entrance, suggesting outside guests may have been using the facilities, which negatively impacted paying guests. Wellness & maintenance concerns: While the room was cleaned daily, there was visible black mold coming through parts of the shower, which is a serious health concern. This appeared to be a maintenance issue rather than housekeeping. For wellness-minded travelers, this is unacceptable. Overall: This is not a luxury property. Everything was “okay,” but expectations set by reviews did not match reality. We chose this hotel to relax after four busy days exploring Curaçao, but only had one truly relaxing day. A fine stay if expectations are modest, but disappointing for a resort experience.

We had the most beautiful holiday in Curaçao staying at the Marriott. Our room had a balcony with a stunning view of the beach and the crystal-blue ocean, waking up to that every morning felt like a dream. Breakfast at Çspice was HUGE… I repeat, HUGE 😄 I even had to kindly ask the lovely chef who made my omelette to make it one-quarter of the usual size (and it was still big for me!). Super generous portions, and you can choose between a buffet or à la carte, both delicious. We loved spending time on the white-sand beach, and every single day we ordered the frozen cappuccino… trust me, we got addicted! 😂 One of the highlights of our stay was a very romantic dinner at Salty at the Beach the sunset was absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend the surf & turf and the crispy pork belly. Huge thanks to Oswaldo, Juliette, Nethan, and Shereka for their amazing service and warm hospitality. The hotel has two pools: one family-friendly and one for adults, but honestly, the beach was my favorite place to be. And dont miss snorkeling 🤿 AMAZING A truly unforgettable stay. Went to every restaurant amd the service was terrible, and overpriced. Food takes 45 to 60 minutes to get to you. Waiters and waitresses have no understanding of the menus and are very disorganized. Restaurants are unkempt Chefs do not care about food allergies. Salty Iguana allows guests to eat at the restaurant with no shoes, no shirts, wet swimwear or wet, at their tables, one guest was allowed to put his beach shoes on the table. On multiple occasions young children would play in the sand and bring sand to their tables to play. They charge for wines and spirits by the glass, but water down the liquors. Check In is relatively simple. The lounge has terrible policies and not worth the perk selection. Just take the free breakfast buffet as a perk. Rooms are well maintained. The band is terrible. They arrive late, and play for an hour; mainly Bob Marley songs, and only 7 or 8 songs. There is more Caribbean songs than that. No beach chair availability. People hold chairs for hours. Entire island is commercialized, not culturally based. Taxis are overpriced, as well as auto rentals. Airport is disorganized and staff is lethargic and has no sense of urgency. You're better off vacationing at Hollywood Marriott linear Fort Lauderdale, USA.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Beach Resort. The hotel is gorgeous with a beautiful beach with white soft sand and 2 Wonderful pools. What I would especially like to point out is the hospitality of the staff. Graceny Webster was particularly kind and accommodating after a trying week we had where my wife had been in the hospital at the CMA on the island. I would also the to thank Romy Kryger in management for her kindness and Jaymy of the restaurant staff. My wife and I would highly recommend this superb hotel

I had a great stay at the Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort. The location is excellent—close to downtown Willemstad, but still quiet and relaxing. It was the perfect spot for my conference, with easy access to everything I needed. The resort has a beautiful adult-only pool area, which stayed peaceful throughout the day and made it easy to unwind between sessions. The beach is a short walk from the rooms and has soft sand, clear water, and plenty of lounge chairs, so it never felt crowded. The property is clean, well-maintained, and positioned in one of the nicest coastal stretches on the island. A great choice for both business and leisure. I’d definitely stay here again.

This resort is just lovely! The beach and pools are pretty perfect and there is a nice scuba dive shop right next door. But my favorite was the FREE yoga classes the hotel offers to guests. The instructor is amazing and you can't beat doing yoga right on the beach (but not in the sand!) with the sound of waves crashing literally all around you. So restorative! I always check to see if resorts offer yoga classes and this one does and they are NOT to be missed. Even if you've never done yoga before, you won't regret joining this one!
