Our stay at the Marriott Beach Resort in Curaçao was wonderful from beginning to end. The resort is beautiful with stunning ocean views and easy access to a beach with that’s perfect for swimming and snorkeling.||Grace was especially fantastic to work with. She went out of her way to ensure my status was recognized before we arrived, and thanks to her efforts, we were upgraded to connecting ocean-view rooms. All of our requests were handled promptly and with care. Grace’s attention to detail and genuine hospitality really made a difference.||The rest of the staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the beds were firm and comfortable. The AC worked well and we had no issues with the outlets by using Type E/F Schuko adapters.||A couple of things to keep in mind: the Marriott’s private beach is right next to a public one, and on our first day, there was a party going on next door. It wrapped up by sundown, but the music was quite loud for a few hours - something to be aware of if you’re hoping for a quiet afternoon nap. The proximity of the rooms to the pool area, where live music is the norm, is something else to consider for the early-to-bed crowd. Finally, there are only a few restaurant options on site, but a rental car and a ten minute drive into the city solves that problem! ||All in all, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely return. If you get a chance to work with Grace, you’ll be in excellent hands - she truly helped make our trip special.

We recently hosted a birthday weekend celebration at Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience. Ashton, the Sales & Catering Manager and staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and elegantly. She helped with the planning from start to finish.|Ashton made vendor recommendations and spent quality time reviewing every detail to ensure the weekend celebrations would be flawless. She and her staff put special touches on everything from special in-room arrival treats to onsite meetings confirming final touches for the welcome cocktail and main birthday party event. She even avoided a disaster with our beachside cocktail hour due to a possible rainstorm by coordinating a last-minute move to an interior ballroom. This simple touch exemplified the proactive professionalism I experienced throughout the entire planning process.|The banquet hall was stunning, the event team was incredibly professional, attentive, and responsive to every detail, making the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable. The food was absolutely outstanding-every dish was flavorful, perfectly prepared, and artfully presented. Our guests are still raving about the meal! The service staff were courteous and efficient, managing everything seamlessly while making each guest feel special and well cared for.|This event truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you to the entire team at Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort for creating such a memorable and flawless weekend birthday celebration. We highly recommend them for future events! We’ll definitely be back to simply enjoy this beautiful resort.

The staff was so welcoming and accommodating during our entire stay. My husband had requested a specific room, Beach front to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and the manager got us the exact room! In all honesty, our room and view was unbelievably gorgeous and we were able to walk directly on to the beach, which was a requested. However, all of these wonderful things aside, the hotel staff and management was beyond exceptional. We will forever be loyal to Marriott because of our stay. We learned about where the staff were from which is all over the world and Marriott promotes them and treats their employees very graciously. I've actually been trying to get a job with Marriott because of my stay and how unbelievable we were treated. Again, I don't have enough great things to say about this resort, property, view, staff, food and great beach drinks!

We had a wonderful stay at the Marriot. The pictures of the place is real, it is really clean and the services is very good. They are all wonderful people. ||However; stuff takes some time, it took a while before we could enter our room and also the drinks and food are taking some time before arriving. When it does arrive, it tastes wonderful and has not let us down. ||When you ask the staff about local places to visit, they first try to get to know you and what you like, before giving you tips. Which is amazing.

We took a vacation in Aruba and traveled to Curacao for 1 day just to see the island. We arrived around 12:30pm at the hotel and their check-in time was 4:00pm. Many times hotels will do their best to get you into your room early, but on this visit we ended up sitting in the open air lobby for 3-1/2 to 4 hours in very hot and humid weather. Our first room was ready around 4:10pm and the second room was ready around 4:30pm. The rooms were average at best. We had an outdoor wedding on the beach directly outside our rooms (ocean front rooms) which was quite loud until about 11pm with a fireworks finale. |The C-Spice restaurant was nice for dinner and the brunch buffet. We had lunch at the Zala Gastro Lounge while waiting for our room and the food was tasty and the service was friendly.|It was a shame that at the end we did not get to see any of Curacao as we had to fly back to Aruba the next morning. We had hoped to drop our bags off in our room and then explore Willemstad during the day but that opportunity was lost.|Interesting enough, when it was time for us to check out the staff were very quick to knock on our door to make sure we were out of the room on time. If they did the same for the people in the rooms on the day we arrived, it would have been possible for them to clean the rooms while we were waiting to allow us to drop our bags and valuables off earlier than 4pm. After the long wait and speaking to the lobby staff 3 times during the wait, the manager provided us with $20 F&B certificates for each room for the inconvenience of such a long wait. |The rooms had average furnishings and soft pillows. The AC did not allow you to cool below 21C until after 6 or 7pm and then the room cooled adequately for sleeping. The bed was a bit hard for my liking and not their typical amazing mattress and bedding set. The showers were good with lots of water pressure.|The beach and the views are beautiful for this property and the pools are very good for families or adults only.

The resort itself is beautiful, but our experience fell short. The service throughout the property was really disappointing. Service was really lacking — staff were inattentive and unaccommodating, and basic requests often felt like a burden. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and our room wasn’t properly cleaned. The pool area had garbage left around that wasn’t picked up for hours, which took away from the relaxing vibe. To top it off, there was a huge crane working and digging at the pool for two days, and we weren’t told until the day of. It made the beach messy and noisy — not what you’d expect from a resort getaway. The restaurant service was especially frustrating — we were seated and left waiting a long time without menus, then had to ask multiple times just to get one. Other tables who arrived after us were served first, and when we spoke up, the response was dismissive and rude. We ended up walking out without eating. This place has potential, but between the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and construction disruption, it was far from the relaxing experience we expected from a Marriott.

This is our second stay here in the past 3 years and I have to say this stay was a miss as well. I will echo other peoples statements. This Marriott should not be labeled 5 star. The M Club access that’s advertised online for Platinum and above is only Titanium and above in person. - Something this location has chose to set its own rules on apparently. - A huge disappointment especially when we are traveling with our kids. The beds are so firm you might as well be sleeping on the floor. - This is a repeated complaint that is posted and yet they have no solution to accommodate the guests that are uncomfortable. The pillows on the bed will be as flat as a pancake the moment you lay your head down. They have memory foam pillows that you will have to ask for, but they are less than 2” tall - offering no support. Refrigerators in the room are advertised however, when I asked why it was barely cooling I was told it’s not an actual refrigerator, it’s a cooler and only made to keep things “cool”. Great. So basically it’s useless and will take an entire day to cool a drink. -They offered to send someone up to look at the cooler to make sure it was working properly, I agreed and asked how long it would be they said 10-15 minutes. I waited 25 and no one showed. On-site laundry is not a self serve laundry for guests to pay a small minimal fee and do themselves. (Something that would be incredibly helpful when traveling with children especially since they advertise this as a family resort). This is a service. You drop your things off at the front desk by 9am and they’re ready by 7pm same day…. The cost is per item and to have one T-shirt washed is over $7.00 USD. Absolutely outrageous. Service is SLOW. The majority of the employees are pleasant & happy. But you will not receive 5 star attentiveness here. Your dinner at any restaurant will take hours. So be prepared. The food - in the whole place - is NOT worth the price. It is an insult to pay $15 for a kids cheese burger only to have it so charred beyond what your child will eat. The “Al pastor nachos” are chicken and the “guacamole” they advertise is actually just an avocado sauce. The “mix of cheeses” that they advertise is just nasty stadium cheese. The chips are stale. The chicken is so spicy you can’t eat it. It’s almost $20 in the trash. The decent thing is the rooms are of good size, the air conditioning works very well & they are cleaned daily and they have ice machines available on the floors. The fitness center is large and has everything you need. The children’s center is next door and a decent size as well - this is a free drop off for kids aged 4 to 12 and hours are 9:30-1pm & 2-4:30. You will need to rent a car to go grab some small groceries and to get to decent restaurants in town. The beach is beautiful, this is a plus. Because the family pool is dirty from dirt, sand, leaves, bugs & oils from people’s lotions. They are not actively maintaining this throughout the day. Or even over night. (When we arrived we looked at the pool, dirty. The next morning around 8am, same). Overall, I’m not sure we would be back unless I was properly prepared to pack a bag solely on things to make the stay more comfortable (like a mattress topper and my own pillow) which is absurd to think about when you should be enjoying your stay and be incredibly comfortable at this “5 star” hotel.

This property is beautiful. There is a sandy beach entrance and a couple of beach entrances that are more rocky, so if you’re inclined, I’d recommend water shoes. There is an area great for snorkeling and the water is crystal clear. The waves are gentle. The pools (one for family and one for adults/lap swimming-though adult access isn’t enforced) are clean and large. Beach chairs fill up quickly in the morning but pool chairs and cabanas are often available. As a titanium elite member, I didn’t regret choosing Reef Club access over free breakfast. Breakfast in the Reef Club was adequate (not the best, but free is free) and the happy hour from 5-7pm had an OK selection of food, desserts and drinks. We had an oceanfront room that had a beautiful view and balcony. The room was clean with a large bathroom and excellent storage space. The blackout drapes in the room overlapped (which is a first for me, and I travel a lot) which enabled us to sleep in without being blinded by the sun. The gym was on the larger side with plenty of machines. There are multiple locations to fill water bottles. My request for a 4pm checkout was granted. We enjoyed walking through the garden to see the plentiful lizards, birds and iguanas. I was not at all impressed with the customer service at this hotel. My presence felt like an inconvenience. It seemed that everyone got a different check-in experience depending on who helped you. I was not offered champagne or a refillable water bottle as others were. When the coffee machine in the Reef Club didn’t work, I got an eye roll when I asked if they could fix it. When I booked an excursion through the hotel, I was given good information but felt like I needed to apologize for bothering her. I felt like I would’ve been better off just booking it online. Was greeted with an impatient “what do you want?” when ordering gelato from the market. They don’t provide a lot of information at check-in. I had to ask about WIFI access, which should be a standard part of the welcome packet. The list of daily activities were only indicated on a sign by the pool, though other Marriott properties have granted this info by a QR code that you can access from your room. Not all of the ice machines were functional and the shower head was a little hard to tame. The food overall at the restaurants was acceptable, but fell short of my expectations. If traveling from the US, bring a converter for electronics. The front desk does have converters you can borrow if needed. The US dollar appears to be the preferred currency if paying for things in cash.
