4 rth time visiting family in Bermuda and hired a Renault twizzy …. It made for a totally different and fantastic holiday experience ! Ideal for the island and far safer than a very slow on flat / let alone incline 50cc moped (having full uk motorbike license for 32 yrs would never ride a 50cc as so underpowered to be dangerously slow and unstable ) …. Staff were helpful and very friendly - definitely be hiring another when back again , added a great new dimension to getting around , and even saw some beautiful places never seen before 😃

Renting a from current is a great way to see the Island. However beware of the recharging challenges. My wife and I decided to stop for lunch and recharge the vehicle at one of the recommended stations. We returned about 1 1/2 hours later and and realized the vehicle had gained only 7%. We went to a second recommended recharging station and got 2% in 20 mins. It made me wonder if the chargers are actually 120V not 240. The issue caused us to turn in the vehicle two hours early as we were down to 20% which is the minimum allowed.

Just got home from a 4 day trip to Bermuda. Absolutely loved the Twizzy! Myself and my husband zipped around the island from tip to tail. As someone who cares deeply about the environment, I loved that Current Vehicles are e-powered! It was super convenient transport, and well-suited to the island and its narrow roads. The apartment we rented (Cavendish Heights Suites) had a charger, so we could charge overnight which was a free service they provided. They are not for people who don't want the wind in their face, or on the larger size who can't squeeze in to the back seat - but there are also newer side-by-side models to comfortably seat two plus a trunk for luggage. I think Current Vehicles is an excellent innovation for sustainable transport in Bermuda. And it's not just visitors who use them, but the locals too. I'd definitely hire again next time we visit Bermuda! Best way to get around the island hands-down!

Loved my Twizzy and it's a great way to get around the island, especially over to the beaches. There are tons of charging stations, and love using the app where you can rent or return your vehicle at any of the "home zones" on the island. Would definitely recommend this over a scooter.

Be carefull. I rent a Twizzy for one day. 15 minutes before pickup I receive e-mail from company the car is ready for pickup. I was very closed and come pickup 10minutes before 4. Now important. Do not show your phone's for rental workers. I drop off car 2 pm next day 2 hours before contract. I ask company rental worker everything fine? Hi said yes you good to go. 30minutes later they charge me extra 23 dollars I ask by email why? They said 18 dollars for insurance and 5 for early pickup. 10 minutes!!!!!! Be careful when pickup and return. I thing find better company. Cheap is very expensive. Do not recomended Current Vehicles.

Amazing little electric car to drive in Bermuda. It has a range of about 70km depending on the way you drive it. Since there's lots of downhill it can regen some electricity when driving. I was able to complete the whole island on 2 charges. Will rent again if I come next time

Current EV Rental Bermuda is such a great way to get around Bermuda. We have rented the YoYo on six different trips and we absolutely love them. Piers & Somers do a great job handling problems and are right there to support you whenever needed. And their App is user friendly and super easy to use - even for a tech spaz. Cost wise, Taxis gets expensive real fast . Scooters are great but most tourists are petrified to drive them and very weather dependent. Renting the YoYo adds a whole different way of exploring one of most beautiful islands in world at fair price. Rent from Current !!

We rented a Twizy two different times during our 9-day stay in Bermuda. Current Vehicles was outstanding in every way. Their customer service cannot be beat. We didn’t realize we had to return the second rental to the same location we picked it up from, so we parked it at a different location close to our hotel and weren’t able to “end the trip” on the app. I got an immediate call back from Current and they ended the trip for us without making us return it to the proper location. That saved us a lot of time and extra expense - especially since it was already late in the evening. We will definitely rent from Current again the next time we visit Bermuda.
