Curtea Brașoveană

The hotel has a brilliant location, just outside of the busy city center, but still on walking distance. Rooms looked old, but didn’t feel old, very comfy and clean! Super friendly staff as well.

One of the best hotels I stayed at. Right there with Disney hotels and I say tgis because of the atmosphere. We stayed 3 nights and we were impressed with the room that had an interior staircase to a bed in the attic. Very pretty and cozy. Breakfast was great. The hotel staff was warm and kind. They made our beds and packed our pjs every day. We will go back for sure. Pricing for the rooms is great.

Perfect location, just a few minutes from the city center. The gentlemen at the reception were very polite.|I was glad that I also had a reserved parking space.|Sufficient breakfast. There was cleaning in the room and inside the guesthouse.|The mattress and pillows I think should be changed - the mattress had places/holes that were left from too much use.

I stayed at Curtea Brasoveana for three nights in August 2023 with my husband and two boys. We had a family room which was clean and very spacious. The room was well-equipped with a safe, TV, A/C, tea station, and free Wi-Fi. There was a bowl of candy as well which was refilled daily – a very nice touch. There was a lot of rather dated furniture in the room. I thought this was a bit excessive, in fact. Who could possibly need a large wardrobe plus three sizable dressers during a city trip? The beds were very comfortable. A good range of toiletries were provided. |The hotel is conveniently located about a ten minutes’ walk from the old city centre. There are several shops and a decent restaurant nearby. The hotel only has two parking spots, but at least one of them was always available during our stay. |Breakfast was buffet style. Choices were limited, but the food was of good quality. The staff were all friendly and helpful. To sum it up, it is a convenient place for a city trip to Brașov.

Location is ideal for exploration of the old town and surrounding area, being about 10 minutes walk from the old town centre. The neighbourhood is very quiet although during the day you may get dogs barking quite loudly (not at night).||My room was large and airy, well furnished, with a comfortable bed. Room 16 actually would sleep 4, being of mezzanine layout with 2 double beds.||My only disappointment was that the TV channel choice did not include a German or English news channel. I am not travelling to watch TV but a daily news check in the morning or evening would be very nice. The offering was mostly in Romanian or other East European languages.||The WIFI was reasonably fast once I hooked up with the right rooter, courtesy of the receptionist.||I can wholly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is neat and clean. It is only a short walk to the city center. The private parking space close to the hotel was also great. The breakfast was nice, but limited. Fine to stay here 1 or 2 nights when visiting Brașov.

I have been there in March. We had a double room, with a very comfortable bed (that asked you to come and sleep all night and all day long:)) and an extensible bed. Very nice design, clean and very good location. I liked the bricks arcade just in front of the bed. Cozy room in a word. Nice and big bathroom, hot water. In the night you can see the letters of the city 'Brasov" just above your head. The smell of trees, silence, romance, hospitality cannot be forgotten. Breakfast delicious, fruits, yoghurt, eggs, fresh juice, espresso, tea ( I liked the variety!)...you just choose and enjoy. You feel there that time stopped. You cannot get bored there. They were very kind explaining and showing where the touristic attractions were. Just walk, hike or whatever...Wishing to go back soon.
