this is a perfect place to stay. we stayed in the freercamp and left the van to visit both the rock and kings cannon on day trips. it saves a ton of fuel. but we did repay buy eat a meal and fueling at the free camp. the staff were super friendly and more than happy to show us there rooms and even showed us the well kept gardens. i can't recommend this place and more. what an oasis. the food is amazing and the atmosphere was great as well. true outback hospitality

An interesting stop. We found the toilets to be quite adequate and clean. We saw two people cleaning them. Any impression of unclean comes from the inevitable bugs that creep around or land in the toilets. |There is space for campers, powered or unpowered. |I was unsure of the 'convenience store' as there are no groceries but you can get a decent drink and a feed. The food is lovely - yummy salad, crunchy chips, filling steaks. Prices are just as one would expect out here - very high but we still had a good feed on a budget.|The dining area is in a beautiful setting under thatch - very cool and comfortable. You can read all about the history while you wait.|Fuel is very expensive and one is better off filling up elsewhere - Yulara for example.|Water is available and it is requested that a donation be left. |We were startled by the red headed gentleman behind the counter who was irritated by people asking questions. Perhaps retraining is required as he has no idea about hospitality and kept stabbing his finger at the menu or signs where we were told we would find the answers. Tired hot travellers don't walk into a strange store and immediately see every sign or price. He was rude and offensive and extraordinarily unhelpful. Shame, since everything else was lovely. |There is a beautiful avery. We saw Guinea fowl roaming around. There is a stunning view of Mt Conner. Still would recommend this stop even given the irritable man.

We had to stay at this overpriced, filthy piece of junk of an accommodation since there was no other place to stay closer to Uluru to see the sunrise and sunset. Response to the owner: the place was already booked 6months prior without knowing how awful it was and for the amount paid, we expected at least a clean bathroom! Anyone who's travelling to Uluru don't bother staying at this place, you'll regret for sure!

Fantastic place . and great food never had so good French fries and great staff . a place to stay if you are on the way to Urulu. Free unpowered site . Toilets and showers available ( they would need some work to be done) but it is worth a stay anyway.

This is truly a beautiful oasis as we finished driving the great central. Fantastic management, friendly staff, neat, clean and comfortable rooms … great food! And the best Port I’ve tasted in a very long time! I was amazed by the activities they have for kids and would love to take my grandchildren back for the experience.

Station 5 stars. Aviary 1 star bird broiler. Great for an ice cream stop, lavatory and homo suggestive mural. Male collected daily. Server managed alcohol sale to coach very impressively. Superb view of Mount Conner.

Great free camping with access to simple outback toilets. Showers cost $5 with plenty of hot water. The free camping area is big, although a bit rutted and very dusty. Not much shade but hey, its free. Staff at the roadhouse are great and you can fill up with water for $10. Great stopover on the road to Uluru.

Don’t really know where to start but I’m gonna try to describe it quickly : We arrived with good expectations. After reading on the website that Covid season was hard we planned to spend money at - especially in an authentic place. We spend 390.- for 1 night with 2 young child’s. (Just for the room) And this is our thoughts: -The boss is unfriendly and he definitely doesn’t want you to feel welcome. -The place is not authentic but clearly dirty, too old, and looks like a normal bad farm but in the desert. -Absolutely inflexible with dinner time (if you arrived late with kids it’s impossible to eat) even if the boss is still here. And last time for dinner order is 6:30. So if you want to see the sunset at Uluru it’s not possible to eat or drink a beer after. -About the room I can easily describe it … it’s dirty, old, and with 100 mosquitos. (But cold with the AC) -If you planned to sleep in the campground, you’re gonna use the « public toilet » and I wish you good luck to not vomit… -Don’t planned to take fuel here it’s maybe the most expensive place in the country 3.-/l If you planned to spend good times please pass the way this place is horrible… Lastly, At the reception, There’s an old story of the « Curtin springs » on the walls. We can clearly see nothing about aboriginal culture which is inconceivable - especially in such place as Uluru.

Good for the bush! Have stayed here several times. Nice cabins clean and comfy. Friendly staff. Only sell instant coffee - shame! No soap in toilets - very bad! Lots of caged birds and emus to see - fun for the kids to look around.
