I found it a bit expensive, maybe it's just subjective, but I think it could be a bit cheaper. It's a very cool trip, they pick you up (and return you to) the city centre, you get a theoretical presentation about Inca geography, astronomy, and agriculture at first, followed by a virtual sky presentation in the dome, and finally, using real telescopes, you try (this is dependent on the weather) to find and observe some star constellation, and the planets of Mars and Jupiter. Cool and alternative trip compared to everything else offered around, and you learn a lot of interesting stuff!

Very insightful and funny presentation! I really enjoyed it. The views of the Moon, other planets, and Sirius were stunning! I was also impressed by the interior of the dome. We were even provided with blankets to keep warm. The staff (Family) was very kind and funny!

We had a group of six people do a tour and it was amazing!! The company was very responsive when setting up the tour and communicated well. They arranged for transportation and it was a short drive from Cusco. When we arrived they gave us blankets and a short presentation. Then we went and saw a planetarium show in a tent. Finally we got to look through the telescopes at several stars and planets and the moon. It was such a great experience and we highly recommend it. The people that work there are very nice and knowledgeable. They are funny and you can tell they are really excited about astrology. We are all so glad we made this part of our trip.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in Cusco. The team was engaging and made it fun, big Star Wars fans too! I highly recommend checking it out especially if you’re coming from the northern hemisphere. We saw Orion’s Belt, Big Dipper upside down like wow.

Great experience. Excellent show and demonstration of the southern hemisphere stars. The planetarium team presents the information with huge enthusiasm. Highlight is the possibility to look through large telescopes to watch some stars. The trip is worth it!

What a wonderful overview of Inca astronomy, culture and the southern sky 💫✨

The experience fell short of my expectations. The planetarium is located on the outskirts of Cusco, in an area with significant light pollution, which affects stargazing conditions. The first part of the visit is a presentation about Inca astronomy—somewhat interesting in content, but delivered in a dull manner, feeling more like a boring lecture. Next, there’s a session inside the dome which, in addition to experiencing several technical issues, presents generic information in a childish tone. Finally, the stargazing portion is disappointing, with a light-polluted sky and equipment that fails to enhance the experience. For travelers with limited time in Cusco, it might be worth prioritizing other activities.

Not worth your time in Cusco. The experience is well-organized, but overall disappointing. The first part feels like a poorly delivered school PowerPoint presentation. The second phase, inside the dome, looks impressive but lacks content — no videos, just basic commentary. The final part, which should be the highlight (stargazing), is underwhelming. The telescopes are weak, and you can barely see anything. Skip this and use your time for something more meaningful in Cusco.
