First time visit. Rustic decor with steam punk elements. It's very moody in a way I like. The service was good, and so was my bomb burger and chips. We all enjoyed the get-together and great food shared among friends.

The staff are fantastic, especially Vincent. They're all attentive to your needs. The atmosphere is great. The food is well presented and tastes good. It can be a bit of a wait if they are busy. Pecan pie is the best!

I’ve enjoyed the food at this restaurant, but my last few visits have been disappointing due to hygiene issues that have left me feeling quite uneasy. Today, I saw the owner meet with the staff to address some concerns, so it’s clear they are working on improvements, which I appreciate. However, several things have stood out that need immediate attention. On previous visits, I experienced a waiter casually brushing a cockroach off the windowsill, sending a mist of dust from the floor sweep right onto our table. A “clean” table no longer felt clean after that. Today, another concerning incident involved a waiter with a runny nose wiping her face with the palm of her hand before using the touchscreen to enter orders. This screen was then used by other staff members, including the owner, without anyone sanitizing their hands or the screen. Watching this sequence of touchpoints left me grossed out and concerned about potential germs being spread. Additionally, I’ve found it frustrating that you cannot get utensils for takeaways, whether ordering in person or through delivery apps. Having to eat without proper utensils is disappointing, and I’d gladly pay a small fee to avoid that inconvenience. Despite the great flavors and quality of the food, these repeated hygiene concerns make me uncomfortable enough that I don’t feel safe returning. Cleanliness is essential, and until these issues are fully addressed, I won’t be back.

Update based on company response (original review at the end: My dear sir/madam. Whatever the supposed sweet potato things were, I'm not going to get hung up on semantics of whether they were crisps or fries or whatever you insist on calling them as we were not 'disappointed' or confused by what they were. When a group of 4 people tell you something is wrong with the food, something is definitely wrong. A chef/manager rudely telling us we are wrong and she is right won't change the fact that whatever you served under the guise of sweet potato crisps tasted stale and were honestly slightly nauseating. Your subsequent response won't change that fact. What it will change is my review - no more stars. Then, let's not forget: you treat customers the way you treated us (a usually very calm, amicable group); your waiters were afraid of who knows what when it came to reporting the issue; and you conveniently ignore these facts in your response, your business will not be getting the time of day from us or those asking us for ideas of places to visit. If I were you, I'd take a long hard look at what customer service is and perhaps go for training. While you're at it, maybe do a course in how to avoid staff being afraid of management. May your business get the clientelle it deserves. Original review: The potential of this place is squandered on rude management like a burnt out overachiever. Sadly the anything-but-sweet potato fries and accompanying bad attitude from the chef/manager surrounded by slightly scared/hesitant waiters (probably treated as badly by management as we were) left a worst taste in our mouths than the otherwise lovely food.

I was introduced to this little place by a friend, and I was amazed at how awesome it was inside. The staff are great, the food is super yummy and well priced. The atmosphere is fantastic. Hidden Gem 💎
