Cute restaurant with yummy food! The muscles were very good since we’re not close to the sea and the marinière sauce is yum! The salmon pasta was definitely a highlight😍 It was a very rich dish and they gave me a very large portion too!! I would definitely come again especially with family since the prices aren’t catered for students xx

This is mainly a seafood restaurant FYI. So if it’s not your thing don’t visit this establishment. The servers were very super nice and helpful. Any questions asked were answered. The menu looked fabulous but if you look around there are menu boards that are scattered around that are not on the paper menu. Keep your eyes peeled. Everything we smelled and saw looked fantastic. A lady leaving shouted at us that the swordfish special was amazing and she wasn’t wrong. I had the monkfish tails and they were delectable. Sampled some of my friends other dishes and they were all Great! Highly, highly recommend. I don’t think you can wrong here.

Lovely restaurant. The servers were all very lovely and helpful. Food was amazing as well, especially loved their special. Drinks are a little expensive but reasonable. Very nice atmosphere and lots of seating options.

Amazing quality, perfectly cooked sea food. We had the hot sea food platter from the valentines special. The best time to judge a restaurant is at there busiest, as this is when quality will slip. It was a busy valentine's day lunch time and the food was impeccable, the service equally so. The only negative I could give was the portions were so generous I felt bad leaving some behind uneaten. Definitely returning to explore more of the menu.

First time visiting here and we really enjoyed it. We ordered from the Valentine’s menu and had the hot platter and also tried the oysters - everything was absolutely delicious, speedy service and the staff were very pleasant. Would absolutely recommend and looking forward to going back to try more dishes.

Food was excellent. Service was fantastic. These guys home make their burgers each day. They made a safe egg free, milk free, fish free, gluten free burger for my daughter who has many food allergies. It looked and tasted great. These guys will look after you and serve you great tasty food.

We’ve just had the most amazing seafood in Cuttle Fish. Visiting from London and this place is up there. The Miso cod special was sublime and the seafood mixed grill was amazing and such good value for money. We’ve never had squid like it and the mussels were amazing. Go visit!

Four of us came for lunch on a slow Tuesday. It was a first time visit for all of us. We had a bit of expectation before arrival due to recommendations from others. While none of the dishes would be described as awful, there was nothing to remind us to come again soon. Somehow all the dishes looked better than they tasted. Our waitress was enthusiastic and helpful, but that wasn’t enough to keep us coming back.

Cuttlefish is an absolute gem! During my three-month stay in the UK, I tried fish and chips from countless places, including Ahmed's food truck down High Street and various spots around London (including some way overpriced spots near Hyde park). But nothing compared to Cuttlefish. They serve the best fish and chips I've ever had--no joke. On the last week of my stay, I found Cuttlefish and grabbed every friend and excuse to go back as many times as possible. Their muscle pasta is also to die for. I still crave it to this day. The restaurant itself is quaint and adorable, with tastefully themed decorations that add to the charm. If you're ever in the area, you have to check this place out. The service is great and attentive. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

I went in to have a quick bite but changed my mind when seen the lunch deal was on offer (and this is after 6pm!!). Friendly waiter showed me in and explained various menu options. I opted for the full course - a starter, main, and dessert but to be honest portions are decent and only two would have been enough. The food itself was nothing short of delicious! I have never associated sardines with a luxury meal but here we go, wrapped in bacon and accompanied by a salad it was something. The rest of the meal was just as good.

We had a wonderful meal here: food, service, and ambiance were all perfect. I had the fish & chips, which was delicious (possibly the best chips I have ever had), and my husband had the paella, which he loved. The staff was friendly, prompt, and kept on top of our needs while also giving us plenty of space and time to enjoy our meal. Finally, the decor and ambiance were lovely (check out the clever lampshades), too.

I ordered the fish and chips for home delivery. Tender and moist fish in a crispy crust with chips, served with tartar sauce -- the best f&c I have found in oxford.

Good, but not worth all of the high reviews. Food - We had the tapas plate for starters, this was the winner of the evening. The balsamic onions were amazing, and everything else on the place was generally good. All strong flavors, but good. We also had the artichoke starter, but were less happy with that. The choke was over cooked (mushy) and the flavors only so-so. For mains we had fish and chips, fish cake, and a roasted place. The fish and chips were good, well cooked with a good batter, but not the best we have ever had. The same is true of the fish cake, good, but not exceptional. The place was more of a success. Service - Attentive and friendly, but a little slow. The restaurant was only 1/2 full but we had to wait a long time for our dishes. Ambiance - Fair. The day was hot and the interior of the restaurant was 10 degrees hotter than outside. They needed to set up some fans or do something to cut the heat. Conclusion - Good, but we won't make a point to come back. I think there are better options available.

We happened on this gem of a spot and found the best fish and chips an American in Britain could ask for! Delightful.
