Yelp
I normally have no issues shopping at this particular location, the staff is always friendly.
This particular instance, I had a huge issue. I was buying nail polish, they had an advertised price of buy one get one 50% off. They also had a few of the same nail polish marked at 75% off. I grabbed 2 at regular price and one that was 75% off. After I was done and checked out, I noticed the error. When I brought it up to the cashier, it was like I was inconveniencing him. He stated that the particular item needed to be marked with the price. I informed him that the section that had the nail polish, with the exact same ones behind it, had the 75% off sticker on it. He huffed and puffed about having to go and check the price. When he came back, he informed me that even though the nail polish was marked that way, and even though all of the ones behind it were the exact same, he wasn't going to honor the price it was marked at. He said that they were put in the wrong section.
I then told him that I would not have bought the nail polish if I had known it wasn't on sale. He then told me, with an extremely snotty attitude, "Well, do you want the refund or not?" I decided I didn't want to deal with him and his snotty attitude anymore, and didn't want to wait for a refund. Before I left, I told him he should take that sticker off before someone else made the same mistake I did.
I will not EVER shop in this location nor any other CVS location again. I go into this particular one at least once a week. They just lost an extremely loyal customer because their employees have horrible attitudes and aren't willing to admit that they made a mistake and fix it rather than argue with the customer. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT???
I used to work in retail, I understand that you don't like to lower the price, but if it a mistake on your end, YOU FIX IT TO KEEP THE CUSTOMER.
Shame on you CVS!
