From start to finish, our experience at CW Prime in Longboat Key was absolutely exceptional. The service was outstanding — our server was incredibly attentive, professional, and especially kind to our young children, making the evening even more enjoyable for our family. The food was phenomenal across the board. We started with the Caesar salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our entrées, my husband and I both chose the filet mignon, and it was nothing short of perfection. The seasoning — a beautiful balance of salt and oil — enhanced the flavor so well that every bite was truly memorable. As for sides, the creamy corn was absolutely heavenly and easily my favorite part of the meal, while the wild mushrooms were rich and delicious. Our children enjoyed gluten-free cheeseburgers and macaroni and cheese, and we were so impressed with the care taken to accommodate their dietary needs without sacrificing taste or quality. To top it all off, the gelato for dessert was smooth, flavorful, and the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal. The atmosphere was beautiful, making for a relaxing and elegant dining experience. CW Prime was, by far, the best restaurant we visited during our weeklong stay, and we are already looking forward to returning the next time we stay at the St. Regis. A well-deserved five stars!

Dined here last night with my hubby, the restaurant is upscale, modern, trendy, and beautifully decorated. We had reservations for 8, we were sat at about 8:20. Our waiter Adam was top notch. This is a high end restaurant and the service reflects that, from their mannerisms down to the verbiage they use. It doesn’t come across as snooty just an air of excellence. We ordered a wedge salad and the hamachi crudo to start, both were fantastic. I especially enjoyed the crudo. It was special. I ate it before I remembered to take a picture of it, I hate when I do that lol. But I remembered to snap pics of the entrees. We ordered the grouper and ribeye, and creamed spinach and crispy potato pave for sides. We loved everything. The chef sent out a little small plate of something to try before we ate and I still have no idea what it was, it was a little brown circle with an orange thing on top, never tasted anything like it, and it was actually nice. A completely different flavor from anything I’ve eaten. I will say that the kitchen was swamped and food took much longer to come out than would be expected but Adam continuously checked in on us, apologizing repeatedly, and ultimately he came and poured me an additional glass of Caymus to make up for the delay. What a class act. Parking was $10 with validation and valet was very fast getting our car. We have decided we will dine at CW Prime for our anniversary this year we liked the ambiance so much. They also have outdoor seating and the entire restaurant overlooks the water. Wonderful evening.

I have lived in Sarasota for many years and have eaten at many of the upscale restaurants such as capital grille. CW Prime was by far the worst dining experience I have had In Sarasota. The venue itself was fine but the service was deplorable (6 people waited 2 hours to get their orders). The wait staff left full bottles of water for patrons to fill their glasses. Unsupervised children were allowed to play with paper airplanes all the while making a racket. The meal was acceptable but not worth the price.

We cannot say enough great things about CW Prime Steakhouse! This was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to the St. Regis. In fact, we loved it so much we came back three times during our 7-day stay! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like family. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, but we want to give a special shoutout to Jeffrey, our second server during one of our visits. He went above and beyond to ensure not only that we had a fantastic dining experience, but that our son felt extra special. It’s rare to see that kind of attentiveness and genuine care—Jeffrey absolutely knocked it out of the park. And the food… wow. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection—top notch quality across the board. The steaks were melt-in-your-mouth good, the sides were flavorful and sharable, and the desserts were the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Worth every single penny. We travel often and dine at top-rated restaurants, but CW Prime truly stands out. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re at the St. Regis!

Food is great, service sadly is the worst I have experienced (1 star only). We went for a friends engagement, we waited 1 hour over our reservation time and they offered nothing during the wait (they knew we were there right after our friends got engaged). Then they didn’t even bring a cake to the dinner to congratulate our friends, I was speechless. On a 1k bill nothing was done. Dinner took 4 hours total, poor knowledge of the menu. Very poor service.

Google
Ok, Ignore the early reviews. The place is absolutely fabulous and gorgeous. We started with Sushi at Orshen., outstanding, moved to the lobby’s bar with more drinks and piano. Then had a steak dinner at CW. Had the ribeye and friends had the 50 dollar burger,. Sides were lobster Mac and cheese, and creamed corn. Everything was top notch. Everything is expensive so don’t go here if you’re not prepared. Service matched the food.

Google
Amazing food, impeccable service. A truly luxurious experience, shoutout to Topher and Adam for taking care of us and making our evening one for the books! The donuts served with the caviar were such an unexpected delightful touch. We can’t wait to go back and experience the speakeasy room!

Honesty, Longhorn has a better steak. Service was horrible. Sent the shrimp back….absolutely fishy! This is a BEAUTIFUL property, but the food overall is HORRIBLE! Sad really. We won’t be back….

Yelp
We recently visited thus new restaurant that has a very stylish and upscale ambiance. The prices are on the higher end, but the new experience was memorable. The lobby bar, outdoor bar, and monkey bar are nice. The pools and lagoon add a nice touch to the overall atmosphere, mostly viewable from the steakhouse. The steakhouse is intimate, with only 12 tables inside and about ~10 outside. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed the Caesar salad and the Cowgirl Ribeye. The oysters were decent, though not particularly meaty. They were served with crystallized ginger and a delicious mignonette, which added a unique spin/flavor. The sommelier was very talented and made great recommendations. The rest of the service was good, but they need to clear the tables more efficiently. Overall, it's a promising spot with great views in a one-of-a-kind experience on the best key in SWFL.

Yelp
Our first visit to this newly opened restaurant in the St Regis. Parking is valet only , $10 if validated. Credit card only. Easy peasy and staff made a great first impression. The resort is absolutely amazing, and shows what 14 years and $800 million can do. This is one of three signature restaurants in the property. The restaurant is smallish, with only 26 tables and limited bar seating. Plan and reserve ahead. The interior is beautiful and the view is spectacular. We stopped for a drink (one delicious cocktail and a glass of rose) at the bar, then headed to our table. Our friend is the sommelier here and he served as our guide and anchor. We tasted through several appetizers (all were delicious, with the lobster "doughnuts" and empanadas as standouts. The dry-aged cowgirl ribeye was perfectly cooked and the side of potatoes a perfect accompaniment. Dessert was visually amazing and it was super yummy as well. We loved our dinner and the experience. Prices are on the high end (to be expected at a beachfront resort with room rates starting at $1,100/night). Corkage is $35. Next up are the Italian and Asian fusion restaurants!

Yelp
Very disappointing. Were there to celebrate my 70th birthday. Food, service, ambiance all well below expectations

Yelp
I really love the atmosphere and the vibe of the place but unfortunately they need to do a little work on their menus and food. They're definitely trying to be upscale for LBK but the food is not matching up to the vibe or the atmosphere. Some of the dishes that we got were great others were a total miss. The steak that we got medium was well done and tasted almost bbq-y vibe. Excited to see how they progress in the next year (since they just opened).

Yelp
It is hard to believe that such an upscale restaurant would not be able to wish my wife a Birthday sweet- a dessert or a drink. My wife felt disappointed that her birthday was not given an acknowledgment, that other restaurants around the world would at least give a complimentary piece of cake. This restaurant at the St Regis has a lot to learn, especially for special occasions.

Yelp
Fantastic, if you're looking for inexpensive this is not your place but if you great prime steaks and seafood plus top notch sides and cocktails come here. The atmosphere is stunning and worth some time to wonder around and check out the swanky resort

Yelp
Disappointing Experience for the Price We recently dined at this steakhouse, drawn in by the $195 prix fixe menu. While the menu appeared promising, the execution fell flat. With only four options each for appetizers and entrées, we expected top-tier quality and availability--but we were let down. Seven in our party opted for the Wagyu cap as our entrée, but the restaurant only had two available. The rest of us were forced to settle for the filet, which was not what we planned to order. The appetizers were lackluster, bordering on mediocre, and the steaks arrived smothered in an overpowering thick sauce, completely masking their natural flavor. As for the sides, they were an afterthought. For anyone wanting a side with their steak, bring your own veggie. For the price, we expected a much higher standard of quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this experience didn't justify the cost

Yelp
CW really outstanding! My filet was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I really suggest the cream of spinach ! and the halibut was like butter. Hands down, some of the most delicious food I've eaten lately. Erin our waitress was the sweetest and very attentive with us. We will be back

Yelp
CW Prime is a dining experience that's on par with the finest Steak houses in America. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and my rib eye steak was tender and delicious. We ordered the special crab claws as appetizers and it was a generous portion with an amazing sauce to complement it. The potatoes were unique with as they were smashed and then fried into potato fries.Definitely worth a try. The asparagus was nothing special. I probably wouldn't order them again. The wine list was limited but adequate and reasonably priced.I'm not ordering screaming eagle wine anyway.Overall a top notch dining experience!

Yelp
The St Regis is absolutely gorgeous! the lobby bar was wonderful and we were impressed by the professional and welcoming bar tenders. CW Prime is beautiful, but the food was blah. I had looked forward to the cowgirl ribeye that I had seen online but the waiter said they no longer had that on the menu. He suggested the ribeye that replaced the cowgirl ribeye so I opted for their replacement ribeye. When my plate was placed in front of me I actually thought it was a joke, if the steak was a 1/2 inch think I'd be surprised, it looked like something that you'd get at Longhorn or Outback. The food runners need to be trained correctly on serving and clearing as both were done incorrectly. Maybe we will try at some point down the road but it was very expensive to be just mediocre, sad.

Yelp
The ambience, the food and the service were superb. The beef selections were absolutely amazing.

Michael P.

Yelp
Food is mediocre at best and the GM is incompetent! Took forever between courses and food came ot Luke warm. GM Matthew is awful at customer service.

Paul F.

Yelp
Ambiance was superb and intimate. Food was not "steak house" and had sauces all over steak. Caesar Salad was good but nothing special. Potato like add on was tasteless and strange. Drinks took 20 minutes even though there were few diners(waitress asked us for meal order before drinks came) service was slow. very troublesome was the way valet is handled First getting your car is slow .Second you get a $3.50 discount if you have your ticket stamped and then have to pay$10.00 after your $300.00+ meal.(no cash credit card only). We will be back for the rest of the beautiful resort but not for the dining1

Dave K.

Yelp
Spectacular experience with a very caring and attentive staff. This property is over the top! We enjoyed the dining at CW Prime and having a drink at the waterfront monkey bar beforehand. The monkey bar was famous at the prior colony property. We live nearby and are excited to come back! A very special add to our LBK.

Yelp
Beautiful dining room. Soft opening- duck small portion and chewy; Fish special Pompano was excellent. Wine list limited and service spotty. Look forward to full opening and hopefully elevated menu, wine list and service.

Chuck W.

Yelp
I have eaten there three times now. The steak is the best I ever had. They use a special charcoal grill and the flavor was amazing. The creamed corn was the best ever. The pricing is what you would expect from a high end restaurant with indulging ambiance. I will certainly come often.

Lorna R.

Yelp
The Steak was amazing but most of all the manager Matthew and Waiter Jeffrey were so accommodating and Welcoming. Such a Beautiful place This is diffidently on our favorite list.
