The sancocho is by far their best menu item, hearty soup with great cilantro flavor that has both chicken and chuck beef. I tried the cachapa and that just meh. The bread was good tasted like sweet corn bread but it was a big block of cheese that wasn’t even melted thoroughly and didn’t taste anything like mozzarella, more like discount fake cheese from foodmart. It’s also really greasy as you can tell from the picture. The sampler platter had some hits, the beans/ tostones and the steak arepas was the best, the chicken arepas but very bland and I do not recommend them. The ground beef empanada was ok, my husband seemed to like it more than me. The ladies work hard in the back and the staff is friendly but be ready to wait a good 20+ min for the food to come out after you order.
