Cylinder Beach

Beautiful beach and great for sunset swimming. A little difficult getting to the beach depending on the entrance used (some entrances have water and long grass to wade through), but there's other entrances that work better. Dogs allowed off leash in parts too which was great!

5 stars 100% The beach is so beautiful 😍 like Instagram level it's insane But also in the water, it's like very easy and calm to relax in and also it was like not deep at all even If you go far in like at some points you can stand Very safe area wish I could go again!

Beautiful patrolled beach - kids had a ball. Ample parking. Good ice cream and coffee but lacking any more substantial food options currently

This beach is especially safe for all families because it has a relatively shadow lagoon with neither wave nor shark for the non swimmers to play with water. Perfect spot to view sunset.

A little bit disappointed, beautiful length of beach but we had trouble visiting it. The road was blocked.

This is my favourite beach in the world. THE WORLD. Nothing can match the idyllic beauty of this spot. The sheltered little cove is all sparkling water and gentle, rolling cylinder waves. It's not loved by surfers, which is fine by me as I don't love getting hit in the head by surf boards. You're not meant to have your dog there, but no one ever gave us any stick when we took our puppy down on holiday recently. She's not a swimmer, however she had an awesome time guarding our towels and stressing out while I put myself in danger by going for a swim. The beach is patrolled during the day and is a family favourite. It's my version of paradise.
