Cylinder Beach

The day was beautiful. The waves were just perfect. They weren't going to dunk you, but they gave you something to work against in the water. This is my favourite beach on Straddie.

This beach is especially safe for all families because it has a relatively shadow lagoon with neither wave nor shark for the non swimmers to play with water. Perfect spot to view sunset.

This is Home Beach. Cylinder is one beach over towards the Point. Unable to Suggest an Edit. Hopefully someone can fix this as it is unsafe for Emergency.

Amazing water, whitsundays level. Perfect spot away from the crowds

Nice beach, great for sunrises over the point. Very flat and wide, perfect for kicking a ball around.

Another beautiful beach on the island

Huge beach with lots of space, this was the nicest beach we found on the island. The swell was pretty strong though, even though it looked calm.

Perfect beach for toddlers - small waves and soft clean sand. On a weekday in Feb there was plenty of parking making it a short walk.
