Wow!!! If I could give this Restaurant 100 💯 Stars I absolutely would!! Me & my 3 friends looked up on Google a breakfast 🥞 spot to eat and Cyndia’s is truly the BEST restaurant I ever been to!! The wait was 45 minutes BUT let me tell you….it was worth the wait!!! Workers was super kind & friendly, atmosphere was to live for & food was delicious 😋 it truly hit the Spot!! And to top it off the guest that came into eat was extremely friendly & felt like you were with your family at a Reunion! We sung Christmas songs, Happy Birthday to sweet little boy & grown man! Family came in with matching pajamas and ask for their picture to be taken! It felt like we were in a Hallmark Movie 🎥 🥰Thank you Cyndia’s for your Wonderful Hospitality! I like that you were small & I pray 🙏🏽 you stay that way. We truly felt at home 🏡 May Father Yahweh bless you all & Merry Christmas 🎁🎄 and Happy New Year 🎊🎈🎆 Love 💗 Monica💗

Nice place for breakfast in neighborhood. It’s usually packed on the weekends, but no matter what the food is always delicious. Waffles my favorite

Love this place. Food is fantastic. Service is always friendly. It’s a well oiled machine. Food service is fantastic here. Cyndia knows what she doing there!! Can be a bit of wait. Just be patient things move quickly. You can also check in online when you are on your way.

This was my first time at Cyndia’s. I went on a Saturday afternoon so it may have been their busy time but service was a little on the slow side. However, the food was delicious! I would definitely go again.

During a quick stop by Jersey, my partner and I were looking for a local place to eat breakfast and Yelp suggested Cyndia’s. I am glad we found this gem in such a beautiful town. Food was amazing and the service and hospitality by our waitress, Lissa, and Cynthia, the owner, was absolutely the best. If you’re looking for a place that is family-friendly, peaceful and with excellent service, please do yourself a favor and visit Cyndia’s. I can’t wait to return!

Ate brunch here for the first time and loved it! When I arrived it was super busy and I assumed I would have to wait a long time. Surprisingly my husband and I were seated almost immediately. Alyssa was our server and was excellent. My husband and I both ordered off the specials. I really loved the Alla Celina and my husband enjoyed the Flank Steak and Eggs. We shared a fluffy Belgian waffle as well. The food came out fast and prepared perfectly to our liking. We were impressed by how busy yet fast and efficient everything was. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to try more!

A pretty nice spot. Food was good and the service was great. Ordered to go, and the place had a small seating area to wait which is nice. Seems like a local spot and was pretty busy while I was there. I got the chicken Caesar wrap and a side of chicken noodle soup. Both were pretty on point. Will definitely be back for the wrap

On the hunt for the best chicken n waffles and these did not disappoint!!!! The waffles and chicken were perfectly crispy. The specialty comfort syrup was a little too sweet for me so I preferred using the maple syrup Saturday around 1:30pm, I was able to find parking right in front of the restaurant and was seated as soon as I stepped in. I did prefer one of the tables in the corner and the waitress was nice enough to clean it for me since it was dirty. The food didn't take long to come out. Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu!

Loved the 3 egg omelette with mushrooms, spinach, and cheddar. Service was good. Busy when we went but good vibes with pop music from the 90s!

I've been coming here for about 10yrs or so, too many times to count and can't say that I've ever had a less than awesome meal/experience. The staff is great, the place is ALWAYS super clean and the food is always fresh and delicious! The bird (egg dish) has been my go to for years.

It was ok. Thought they had a couple different types of pancakes. I wanted pumpkin. My daughter had cinnamon pancakes. She loved them. Small place had to wait a bit.

Everything about this place is great. This is a legendary restaurant.,the vibe is great, the prices are better and the food cannot be beat. Bravo 10 out of 10!!!!!

Always on point! I've been coming here so long that I'm shocked I have never before left a review. Cyndia's is an absolute hidden gem. Tucked in a store front along Union Blvd you could easily drive by without realizing all your missing. This place has one of the best staff's that I have ever encountered and some great food. Personally I think that their corned beef is one of the best around. My kids love their ricotta pancakes and my wife usually tries specials and is never disappointed. It's just a winning combo with great people, great food and a very family friendly atmosphere. If you haven't been here, you are missing out!

Amazing breakfast spot. I went on a long weekend and there was about a 45 minute wait, but it was so worth it! Do not miss the pumpkin pancakes they have on special for the fall. Surprisingly light with a delicious sweet cream cheese drizzle. Pair it with a side of bacon for a little salty and sweet combo. Excellent service and such a fun vibe inside! Will definitely be back!

Cyndia's is the BOMB! The food is great AND reasonable. But most importantly, the staff are all angels! The decor is normally cheerful, but they pull out all the stops for the holidays! (See photos.) I always walk out with a smile on my face... despite sometimes being a grumpy foodie. :)

What great service! The server suggested ricotta pancakes which were delectable, so light and tender. My friend had the bruschetta Avacado toast which was delightfully fresh and sweet. The coffee was freshly brewed and nice and hot. A cute restaurant, just a bit loud but happy staff and happier patrons.

To put it simply, breakfast here is to die for. Top-notch quality food, amazing service, and extremely affordable pricing? It doesn't get much better than that. I wish I lived closer... but it's absolutely worth the 30+ minute drive I would make in the mornings just to have breakfast here. This place is packed on weekends and if you're coming after 9am, expect a long wait. Service is fairly quick and tables do open up relatively fast, but given how popular this place is, there will be loads of people ahead of you. It's absolutely worth the wait though. In my case, I would actually opt to come during the week to avoid dealing with the wait. Let's get to the food. The best thing on the menu is the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. I don't know what they do to them, but I can't resist getting them every time I come. During Halloween, they also have a Pumpkin Pancake Special which I highly recommend if you're lucky enough to be there on a day it's offered. I've also tried several of their egg based dishes, sandwiches, even some non-conventional specials like fried rice. Nearly everything I've had has been fantastic. If you're coming for the first time and can't make up your mind on what to try, go with the breakfast plate combo to sample everything and get the best bang for your buck. Service is fantastic too, the waitresses are the sweetest and most pleasant to be around. Huge shout-out to Danielle who always makes the trip worth it. Definitely one of if not the best breakfast spot in NJ. Even if it's a haul to drive over, it's absolutely worth trying!

Omg definitely a hidden gem that I wish I had found sooner! I came here for brunch and loved their regular & specialty items. We got 3 of the speciality choices... the breakfast tacos, Disco Benny, and a po boy sandwich to go. The breakfast tacos were sooo flavorful & filling. I loved every bite. The disco Benny was also delicious, although the gravy which I expected to have a stronger flavor was slightly bland. We could've passed on the po boy, it was not as flavorful as we expected, the description sounded a lot better than the sandwich that we got, but the portion size was huge. I also got a fresh squeezed orange juice which was delicious and refreshing, highly recommend! The staff here were very friendly and the restaurant had a very homey vibe to it which I loved. Prices were also affordable for the quality food that we got! I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

If you want a small town, a tight community type vibe, this is the place. Another plus the food was really good and alone is worth going back. Fun little thing that I never experienced before in a restaurant is they actually sing the og happy birthday song

Wait was incredible, insider tip you can add yourself to the wait-list through their website / YELP. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was decorated for the holiday season, but unfortunately the food was just average for the wait and glowing reviews. We ordered the ricotta pancakes, French toast, and Ruben sandwich.

Cyndia's is a hidden gem! Everything I've ever tried there is delicious. The service is always great, friendly and accommodating. The owner is always walking around making sure the customers are happy. It's in the smaller side so you may have to wait a little but it's worth waiting for!

I found this place on YELP...was meeting my cousin for breakfast and was looking for a half-way point. Anyway, I picked Cyndia's and could not have made a better selection! As soon as you walk in, you feel welcomed. The waitresses were wonderful - super friendly and very professional. The food was OUTSTANDING and my cousin said the coffee was delicious! She had ricotta pancakes and I had the yummiest French Toast EVER! We sat for almost 90 minutes with no one rushing us. It was great on every level. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Cyndia's is a great place for Breakfast or Lunch (or both)!! The food is fresh and well prepared, the service is super friendly and the ambiance is terrific (and celebrates the seasons!) I went here for breakfast by accident... what an unbelievable find!! One other thing to remember, ask for a biscotti, they are great!!

Our local neighborhood spot. Great food, great people. Just a great spot to go and see your neighbors and chat. From the moment you walk through the door you'll be greeted by Melissa. She is funny, welcoming and a breath of fresh air. I love the Ricotta pancakes. Even if you're not local it's a must stop for a great breakfast and warm environment.

Popped into Cyndia's with a few family members who RARELY stray away from their local diner. After a bit of huffing and puffing we made our way to Cyndia's - to avoid additional stress while on the way there I joined the Yelp waitlist. When we arrived, there was only a short wait left until we were seated. For those of you with a sweet tooth their breakfast menu is limited, BUT if you love a cinnamon roll I would highly recommend coming here to try their cinnamon roll pancakes. IT'S SO GOOD. For those of you who like a savory breakfast your options are plentiful. My few folks from my family really enjoyed the French toast, the Mick Benny, and the early bird special. The staff here are extremely friendly and keep the place quite clean. We will def. be back!

Stopped by this local spot for brunch. Hubby ordered the eggs royale which he enjoyed. He wasn't fond of the home fries. He said they were soggy and a bit too salty. He also had their freshly squeezed OJ which is was so good he ordered a second. Our son had the silver dollar pancakes with sausage. He enjoyed both. I made my own plate with French toast, over easy eggs, sausage and a side of home fries. I also had their vanilla iced coffee. I was not crazy about the French toast. I like French toast made with brioche bread and this definitely wasn't. Sausage was delicious. Eggs were good and I mixed in some home fries which I also thought were good but they were soggy before I even mixed them in. I did not like the iced coffee. It had a weird diety or low sugar taste that I don't like. Hostess was nice and so was the waitress. It was a busy Sunday brunch time so we did have to wait a little longer for our food.

This was my first time coming here snd I don't have anything bad to say about my experience other than I wish I could have tried a lot more food. I guess that means I'll be back for more. The food was great, the service was great! Kristin was our server, she was amazing. I went on a Sunday, it was absolutely worth the wait. Thank you Cynthia and Ms Kristen. I will be back soon.

Great spot for brunch! I highly recommend joining the waitlist (you can do this right through Yelp) to minimize your wait time. I came here with a friend on a Saturday morning and it was packed, so we were grateful to have joined it. The food was so good! We started with the breakfast empanadas (one of their specials). They were cooked perfectly and topped with everything bagel seasoning... definitely order if you see them on the menu. I ordered the eggs royale (eggs Benedict with smoked salmon) - all the elements from the hollandaise sauce to the accompanying breakfast potatoes were on point. Service was friendly and even though they were busy, we didn't wait long at all for our food. I'll definitely be back!

The prices for the entrees were some of the best I've seen in a long time! I ordered the Gabriella sandwich. The food was very tasty and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. The service was a little slow but it was very busy and they did a good job to try to accommodate everyone.

Came on a Saturday morning around 10 am- a slight wait but otherwise was easy to sit! Very reasonably priced and delicious - Taylor ham egg and cheese with potatoes on side - yum! Reminded me of a nicer diner. Service was attentive and fast- would highly recommend !

The service was wonderful and so was the atmosphere. Our food was delicious, done right. The pancakes were fluffy and didn't even need syrup in my opinion. The chicken sandwich was perfect. It had cheese and was fries well. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The mac n cheese was decent but would have been better if it was warmer and maybe was a four cheese instead of a five. Nonetheless it was enjoyable. The food was not oily and they don't take short cuts. You get what you order but done right. Very right. Mera's Tip: I'm confident it's all good. Order anything.

Have been here many times. Food is always good, but sometimes I think it's left in the "waiting place" before it's delivered and it can be cold. French toast is delicious, (love the panella bread) as are the ricotta pancakes with apricot preserves. These are my usual "go tos". One critique...Saturday it is usually very busy and loud, so no booming music is necessary. Can't hear when trying to talk. Service is usually good, but a LOT of wait staff (?) I'll probably go during the week.

Stopped in with a work colleague for lunch. He picked the diner. Told Kristin the waitress it was our first time eating there. She was awesome. Sat down at our table and went over the menu. She knew all of the sandwiches named after family members. Great food, great prices, great atmosphere, and GREAT service. Thanks Kristin! We'll be back!

Breakfast is very good here. I recommend the eggs Benedict, chicken noodle soup, and hot chocolate. Can be a little bit of a wait, but totally worth it. All the servers are currently wearing Xmas pjs which is so cute for the season.

The food was amazing! Although it's just breakfast but it's the most important meal to me and several other people will agree. The serving staff was accommodating even if they were mobbed with diners looking for breakfast or lunch( it was 11:30am) It has a family diner vibe and every server dressed up for Halloween. They have a very extensive breakfast and lunch menu. I had the eggs Benedict with salmon. Needless to say it was very tasty!

Classic style diner that makes you feel cozy. Came in on a Sunday for breakfast/brunch. Made reservations in advance (highly suggest doing so). This place is definitely very popular and there are people willing to wait. They definitely give you a couple of "friendly pushes" towards the end because they have people waiting. Meaning, they keep coming up to your table to see if you're done - but by no means rude. I get it- busy on a weekend. Not a place to sit around and chit chat for a long time. I read a lot of great reviews about this place and had this place bookmarked for awhile. The chicken and waffles seems to be one of the most popular items, but it was not as great as I expected. This is more of a chicken cutlet style chicken and waffles. Big waffle with a good amount of chicken on top. Waffle was pretty good and not too dry or dense. Now the chicken is crunchy, but not super flavorful. The waffle was standard. The "comfort gravy" that comes with it is alright. It's good they put it on the side because I would not like it on every bite. It's both savory and sweet and has the texture of applesauce. Overall, experienced some flavor fatigue with this meal. Was hoping for more. Coffee was standard. Orange juice was the only thing that was amazing! Had to be fresh squeezed. If I am in the area I would try this place again to see if something else was better.

This place was a major win! Wanted to try a new place for breakfast and found this after a quick google search. Decided to try after reading the reviews and it did not disappoint! Greeted promptly by friendly staff. Decor was very warm and inviting. Food was amazing and so was the service. This is hands down my new go to place for breakfast!
