In short: skip it, you can easily find better places. It is not a 4-star hotel, not at all. We visited for 1 night thanks to a SmartBox to which we added 40 euro. Very basic spa. Very basic rooms, extremely small beds, not even a small bottle of water in the room. At the check-in, we have not been informed about city taxes and we were told the wrong time of the breakfast (they said 7am but it was 8am). The afternoon before, at 6pm, I told them I noticed their mistake on the breakfast time and I asked whether we could have breakfast earlier or have a take-away breakfast because we needed to leave before 8am. Their reply was "I put a note in the system but I don't know if they will see it"! From 6pm of the day before till the next morning, nobody is available to act on their miscommunication? We left before 8am, no breakfast and no communication. When I called later in the morning to check if everything was ok, I was informed about city taxes. Finally, I asked if they could consider the bottle of water we ordered as free as a compensation for skipping breakfast for 2 people, my request was rejected because "breakfast was included in the smartbox". Well, we had to add 40 euro to it. And, again, maybe a small bottle of water in the room may be a nice welcome for your guests.

The hotel itself I think it's nice. Part of it is under a old windmill but the rooms are quite new and modern style. The lobby gives you a great impression are the rooms aren't bad. But you will keep the curtains closed. If you share room with your colleague or something it will be a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom it's open, there is no door and the wall is a glass.. I don't think that is a good idea for a two beds room. You will have to switch on the lights from the center console, so you'll walk in the dark when you get in. Also the toilets water is literally yellow, it's looks like you are flushing the same water over and over.... kind of disgusting. The thermostat wasn't working properly, the room was at 18 degrees when it was set at 21, and the cleaning stuff kept setting it at that frozen temperature. I had to set it at 30 degrees to reach 21. It could be a great hotel but the rooms have details that need to be improved.

Phenominal architecture. The mixture of modern and rustic is sophisticated and tasteful. When we first arrived, we grabbed a beer and sat in the lovely courtyard and enjoyed the summer breeze. The beer in the fridge was ice cold and refreshing. The check in process was smooth and professional. The beds were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning a trip back this summer.

Spacious hotel with clean minimalist design. Comfy beds and efficient heating. Helpful staff. Breakfast is a little expensive at 25€ per head, but its optional. Would be good to have tea making facilities in the rooms.

Everything except 4 star hotel. It’s like a bunker but without ventilation, my koolmonoxide checker gives constantly red. Needs to refurbished. Very small beds 80cm wide like the tv. Bar is self service, spa is closed. Breakfast is okay but more 3 star like. A dark place.

My stay at D-Hotel Kortrijk after the Flanders Fields Epic was truly exceptional. The level of organization was outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a smooth experience for all participants. After the race, we enjoyed much-needed massages, and the bedrooms were clean & comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kortrijk, whether for a cycling event or a relaxing getaway!

My wife and I spent an evening there.||The hotel has a very modern design. This is coll. But when you get into the room, there are things that make no sense at all form a design point of view (I’m sure the architect had his/her ideas, but they are just not practical!):||- There is no door separating the bathroom from the bedroom. So if your partner is in the toilet you are rewarded with all the sounds and smells emanating from the bathroom.||- The bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a glass wall. It looks really good and modern. But (toilet again) if you partner goes to the toilet you cannot help but see him/her.||- No shower curtain – result the bathroom floor is a swimming pool when you have finished your shower.||- The room had two wine glasses in a cupboard. No mini-bar fridge. No water. No kettle or tea or coffee. If you want water there is a vending machine in the corridor where a bottle of water costs €2.00||Breakfast was OK. The scrambled eggs were good. But the rest on offer was nothing out of this world. One reason that led us to book this hotel was some reviews about the amazing varied breakfast. We found breakfast very average! The coffee, however, was good!||We also used the Spa. We really enjoyed it, but because we were the only ones using it. The pool in the spa has a jet, bubbles and two fountains. However, only one of these works at a time.
