Google
I should have walked out the moment I saw the torn up seats and leaky air conditioner, but the high reviews and my companion’s praise for the place made me give it a chance. Big mistake. We ordered nachos, and as we were nearly finished, I found green mold growing on the cheese. Not a tiny speck... MOLD. Now I’m at home, violently throwing up. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. Management comped the nachos, but still charged us for drinks we never touched after seeing the mold., which says everything you need to know. This place is the definition of poor management and money-hungry ownership.

This used to be my go to dessert spot but the quality of the food has gone considerably down. I used to enjoy this restaurant for the tasty in house melted chocolate, generous portions and moist cakes. It is no longer the place I enjoyed. The cake was dry and inedible, the chocolate/pistachio sauce was completely watered down with no taste at all. I ended up being unable to eat the dish I ordered because it was so unappetizing. It looked lovely but the taste was just very very bad. I brought it up to the supervisor on site and they gave me a 15% discount which was nice but I didn’t even eat the crepe I ordered it ended up being thrown out by the restaurant (I refused to eat it. It was very very gross). My friend ended up getting the milk cake which they enjoyed and I got the crepe with cake inside and pistachio/chocolate sauce on the outside. It cost about $44 for 2 desserts with taxes not including tip. Another thing to note was that this downtown dessert restaurant was completely empty. I am assuming it’s due to the poor quality of the food. Won’t be going again and hope they make changes. This place used to be awesome.

Google
The food wasn't really worth it, the seats needed covers and no where to throw your trash. Their Sebastian cheesecake was dry and had nothing creamy to it. Their milk cake was acceptable but their images and videos don't do justice to what you see and eat yourself. Overall experience was below average.

Google
didn’t get a chance to take a photo of our ice creams but i would say they tasted good. i also order the passion fruit iced tea. a little bit sweet and concentrated for my taste that i have to add some ice to dilute it. it’s a cozy place to hang out and talk with friends. staffs were all kind and attentive.

Google
amazing experience at d spot! i got the something to talk about waffle and it was delicious!! Liza was a great server, so nice and fast service! i will be back!

Google
Follow @bredgyeats for more food pics! Usually, I prefer crepes over waffles, specifically for the thinner, softer texture that's easier to fit in my mouth. The bananas are split apart and torched with a sprinkling of sugar, to achieve a caramel, crackly sugar top, and then topped with even more caramel sauce. I decided to switch the scoop of ice cream to a saffron pistachio flavour, but I'd say stick with the OG pairing.

This place has been on my BUCKET LIST for a while, and tonight, I finally caved in and tried it. When I tell you I could kiss the staff, lol I definitely would. The desserts were absolutely amazing, and each bite made me smile cause the flavors were there. It was warm and moist to perfection.

Google
Decent dessert place that opens till late. Service is okay but lots of people. Menu is very diverse.

Yelp
This place is insane. Their menu is pages upon pages of all sorts of dessert creations, sundaes, shakes, shareables and then to top it all off, they actually have food like burgers and pizza. The service is fast and the ambience is enjoyable. The desserts are huge and the prices reasonable to go along with them. They do have some seasonal or new/limited items, and we happened to get one of those. A Ferrero Rocher shake. Yup, you read that right. Ferrero Rocher blended up in the shake itself and garnished with a while one on top of the whipped cream. We also got a traditional chocolate shake which was very tasty and had chocolate pieces throughout it. If you want ice cream, find something traditional. If you want ice cream/dessert on steroids and flavor combinations you wouldn't have even thought of, go to D Spot.

Yelp
I ordered a Banana Split ($12.99). It comes standard with a banana spliced in half, length-wise, a chocolate scoop, a vanilla scoop and a strawberry scoop. There are whip cream, marshmallows, sprinkles, one waffle cone, and two syringes with chocolate and strawberry sauces. The chocolate sauce was so hard to squirt out, but the strawberry sauce was easy. I ate the entire Banana Split myself, except the waffle cone, which was eaten by my wife. There is plenty of seating. There is loud easy-listening music playing in the background. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There separate male/female washrooms and a third gender-neutral wheelchair accessible washroom. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. There are three high chairs for little children. Yelp
Overall yummy. However, I ordered a scoop of ice cream with my order and never received it I think possibly this was for the best because the other desserts were larger than anticipated, however, on principle, I wish I had received my ice cream. Furthermore, the London fog was not optimal. But, on a more positive note, the brownie (not pictured) was delectable.

Yelp
Dessert: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Vibe: 4/5 Price: $$ New dessert spot that is slowly taking over Demetres all over the GTA Everything was priced between $15-20 per dessert, pricey yes, but i also think thats what regular dessert price are, so not complaining. Overal delicious! Definietly will come back! And they also open till very late hours, which is perfect for a night treat Dont forget to check out my TikTok for more Video content #spiritedlaway

Yelp
This dessert café is #Halal certified, offering options like #burgers and #poutines to #dessert of all sort. No need to find a dinner then a dessert spot after. D Spot Cafe has you covered with their one 'shop' stop. We tried several desserts here and to my surprise, they weren't as sweet as you think they would be. It was also my first time trying milk cake and this has got to be my favorite dessert currently!

Yelp
Perfection!! So many fresh strawberries and huge chunks of cheesecake on top of a soft tender crepe. Added Nutella which provided extra richness. There is a side of vanilla as an accompaniment.

Yelp
I went to this dessert spot on a weeknight with a party of 3 and it was a pleasant experience! We had the Simply Lotus Waffle and the Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes and shared them both. Out of the two dishes, I enjoyed the waffle more. The cookie butter sauce was simply delicious on top of a well-made waffle. The pancakes were okay, I felt that it was a bit underwhelming with only 3 small pancakes. The prices were still pretty decent for a spot like this, as a lot of waffle/pancake dessert places will charge over $20 for one dish, but here it was around $15-20 I like the seating here and it was a comfortable spot to chill and talk with friends. However, the service was a bit slow and the server forgot our requests a few times, so I think that front could be improved. Overall, it is a nice dessert spot in the area that it is in as there aren't too many options like it!

Yelp
My friend and I split the ferrero rocher cookie skillet. I wanted to get pancakes a crepe but with my last experience (of the pancakes being raw/wet in the center), I decided not to. The skillet came out quickly piping hot from the oven. It came with a side of vanilla ice cream and a chocolate pourover. The cookie did taste wet and almost raw but very rich and decadent because of how much chocolate was packed in it. I wasn't a huge fan but it definitely satisfied my chocolate craving. My other friends shared the pistachio crepe and they enjoyed it very much.

Yelp
This dessert cafe consistently impresses us with its high standards. It has become our go-to spot for delightful desserts. The ambiance makes it a great place to hang out without any complaints. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We ordered the chocolate cake and a sticky toffee pudding. Both came with melted ice cream that lacked flavour. I wasn't impressed with my chocolate cake, but the toffee pudding was flavourful. Nicely spiced. The topping was a little stale tasting. The restaurant looked nice, and filled with very young waiters. We waited for a while before calling someone over to our table to order our cake, the same thing happened at the end of our dessert. Overall not overly impressed with any of this. The chocolate cake was just meh.

Yelp
The good You will get what you pay for. Do not come here thinking that you can finish one of these plates by yourself. And if you do think you can finish one of these please by yourself, it may be time for you to seek professional help. The food was good, creative and most importantly customizable. The bad Why the hell is it so hot in here? There is a major issue. I have personally with ice cream places being too hot like why is my ice cream melting before I even touch it. I made my waiter go redo my order just because of this. this is a major issue in places like this. The truth Seems to be a young crowd. I had a sweet tooth after a great dinner but the place I had dinner didn't have a great dessert menu. By young crowd I mean freshman meet seniors in high school musical three. I'll probably won't come back here again, but they are open late so they might see me again , next time I'll get it to go

Yelp
pretty mid. the desserts are decadent but don't feel particularly unique to me. vibe is also oddly sterile for a dessert spot.
google avatar

Yelp
This little piggy was too greedy. My sweet tooth was acting up and I just so happened to be passing by D Spot so decided to drop in solo. Boy was that a fun "mistake"! I left feeling oh-so-happy but oh-so-heavy at the same time. I got the Dream Come True, which is a waffle drizzled with Belgian milk and dark chocolate, topped by this humongous brownie, with vanilla ice cream on the side. - Waffle was huge, soft and chewy, with a nice crisp on the edges - Brownie was huge, moist, and decadent - Ice cream and drizzle were standard fare The whole thing definitely hit the spot, but also cost me $20+ with tip, which is pricey for just one dessert. That said, if you don't have a big appetite, it's big enough to split between two people so maybe think of it as half that price? Don't be like me and be sure to go with friends so you can sample many of D Spot's different desserts instead of pigging out on just one oink oink!
google avatar

Denise B.

Yelp
D Spot is such a creative concept if your looking for dessert on a Friday night (or any night). They have so many choices and most of the desserts can serve at least two people. My partner and I shared a skillet cookie with vanilla and saffron ice cream. Cookie came out steaming hot within 15 mins and was sooooo good!

Yelp
Went here after dinner and absolutely loved it! The menu is adorable and had variety of choices from milkshakes to crepes to pancakes and waffles. They also have poutines and pizza! I got a white chocolate lava cake and it came with vanilla ice cream and it was delicious. The cake was warm and paired very well with the ice cream! The servers were all super nice which made the whole experience even better! Would definitely visit again!

Yelp
Great Place! I went to D-spot Desserts and ordered Haven on Earth, which was super delicious, the way they decorate the dessert is Amazing. Excellent selection of waffles, crepes, milkshakes, and so on. "A MUST TRY FOR SURE"

Adiba K.

Yelp
The place is cute. The food is extremely sweet and the portions are giant so you can get away with sharing. The service is as usual not bad.

Yelp
The funnel cake fries were incredible! We devoured them so quickly that we didn't even notice a topping was missing. Next time!

Yelp
I got the Ferraro Rocher milkshake. Whoever came up with this flavour for a milkshake is on the right track. It was absolutely delicious. It kind of has a cookies and cream feel to it with a hint of hazelnut and chocolate. It is a bit on the higher price scale but oh so worth it to treat yourself or try at least once!

Yelp
Plain Cheesecake slice review only: At $10 (c. 2021) for a relatively large slice of Plain Cheesecake, it is the most expensive slice of cheesecake I have ever encountered in Toronto. Is it worth it? In short: no. The slice was large, with shortbread crust that was decent (a bit too much shortbread in my opinion; should be as minimal as possible). The 'cheese' of the cake was decent too. The problem is that in terms of taste, it's beat by competitors with both equal or better flavour and (cheaper) price. Carole's (Yorkville) charges $8 for a Plain Cheesecake slice AND its Halal and Kosher. The best Plain Cheesecake slice in my opinion is Phipp's (plain) cheesecake and it's tastier (noticeable tinge of vanilla and butter) and available at Scaccia (Manulife Centre) for about just $5-$6 a slice (albeit smaller in size to D-Spot's slice).

Yelp
Me and my husband were staying in Toronto for a long weekend and were dying for something sweet after dinner in the city. The banana foster waffle was beyond words fantastic! Service was quick and efficient.

Yelp
Desserts: 5/5 Drinks: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Decor: 4/5 Price: 4/5 There was about 6 people in the cafe when we were seated. The place has cute simple decor. The service was really really slow but it was understandable because these 3 workers sharing the job duties of a hostess, waiter, chef, barista and cashier. They were jumbled and was a little all over the place. We ordered two drinks the Iced Matcha & Mint Lemonade. Considering the other drinks that they have to offer and in the pictures on their menu... you would think they would make the drink more presentable. I posted the picture below. The matcha had too much milk and not enough matcha. The mint lemonade was terrible. I do not recommend this drink at all. It was more sour than eating sour keys. Even the waiter agreed it was not something he would recommend and was really nice to offer to change the drink for us without us asking. We ordered the Extreme Red Velvet Cheese Cake instead of getting another drink. This cake is MASSIVE!!! its about 4.5 inches in height and 3.5 inches in width. Its a good portion, tasted really good and shared between two people is perfect. It came with a large scoop of ice cream and a shot glass of melted vanilla chocolate on the side. Also just to be wary of where you sit. They do not have an enclosed kitchen so those blenders get extremely loud when used. Which is used very very frequently and is louder than the music and even sitting side by side your friend it will be difficult to hear them. Just sit farther away and there should be no problem. Even with the extreme slow service (the bill took another 10 minutes to get to us) they were still very nice and friendly. I would still giv it a 4/5. The cake was delicious, and im sure they are more known for their desserts rather than their drinks.

Yelp
Halal spicy tandoori chicken poutine?! What is this magic??? I was in Toronto last week and had the chance to try it. They also have delicious chocolate desserts. All of the portions are huge, so I recommend sharing with a friend. Absolutely recommend this place, and I am so jealous we don't have something similar in Chicago.

Yelp
Finally got around to trying this place. True to the reviews, the portion sizes are quite big and one item can easily be shared between two people. Pros: the place is open till 12am, so great for a midnight stroll and snack. -Plenty of dishes on the menu, and I'm sure all worth drooling over, so can easily substitute for a meal -The seating arrangement is great and doesn't feel overcrowded, even though it can get quite busy -Service: 5/5 the staff is very friendly and attentive. They'll come around regularly for water refills and to check up. We ordered the Godiva cheesecake: 5/5. Fresh, soft with an intense chocolate flavor! Very yummy! It came with a side of vanilla ice cream which really helps clean the palate and elevate the taste! The cheesecake was priced at $12 which may seem a little on the higher side, but considering the ambiance, service and portion size it's reasonable. Con: some items may seem a little pricey, but sharing it between two makes it easy on the stomach and wallet!

Yelp
If you have a strong sweet tooth, this place won't disappoint! We came in on Friday night and it was super crowded. We order the chocolate fondue which was on point, and the tiramisu cheesecake (good but not the best I've ever had). The highlight, albeit unexpected, was the tandoori poutine! Absolutely delicious and very unexpected. Would encourage you to order it as it won't disappoint!

Yelp
Great late night dessert spot near the university. Never been to a dessert cafe with an actual 4 page menu..but ended up just ordering the Belgian milkshake and the wake me up milkshake. Both very good..service was good too. 4/5 cuz something really has to blow my mind to be 5 stars! This place met my expectations and satisfied the sweet tooth!

Yelp
So happy they opened a spot in downtown near me! I've visited the original Mississauga location a couple times and loved their dessert and their amazing service. This remained consistent at their Toronto spot. They have great customer service and were willing to help us out with the menus and offer suggestions. My husband and I shared a chocolate lava cake and it was delicious. The chocolate cake was nice and warm and tasted great with the vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to try the other savory and sweet stuff they offer! This will be my go to dessert spot.

Yelp
Scrolling through yelp this place always caught my eye as a date spot. The place was cool, funky design on the walls, and giant chocolate fondue fountains. We were promptly seated and given water. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed and it was 6pm on a Wednesday. The café was busy but, not super busy. They were understaffed however; our server was polite and apologetic. My girlfriend ordered the Waffle with fresh strawberries and Nutella. I was able to sneak a couple of bites. It was a nice crunchy and warm waffle with fresh juicy strawberries. The Nutella was nice and sweet the prefect pair for the waffle. We both enjoyed it and would definitely order it again. I ordered the skillet chocolate chip cookie it was topped with Reese Peanut Butter cups. It had warm Nutella and Vanilla Ice Cream on the side. The cookie was warm and gooey, and the warm chocolate sauce melted the Reese Cups. It was great to scoop a bite of cookie with cold ice cream. It was the perfect dessert in my opinion. We both agreed we would definitely return to D Spot Café. The only knock was being under staffed but, our server was super nice. It was a great dessert spot and an awesome date spot.

Yelp
I was here one afternoon with my partner and both of us enjoyed the stay, it wasn't too pack or loud. It was just the perfect place to go chill and talk with a family member or even a date. We loved and enjoyed the Bbq chicken poutine and the hotdog.

Yelp
Would've given this place a 5 star if it wasn't for my friend finding a SCREW in this burger. We told the manager and got a lukewarm response about how they won't charge us for this burger. Extremely disappointed with how they handled this situation. Really disappointed because this is probably Toronto's best dessert spot, but I'm pretty sure that I won't be returning back to this branch at least in the near future.
google avatar

Naureen J.

Yelp
Went here after dinner and so happy that we did. The menu itself has some 100 items to choose for. The interiors are cute and totally insta-worthy. We ordered Road trip and Heaven on earth sundays. The portions were so big that I think the next time we go, which will be soon, I will order one item per 2 people. The place was jam packed when we stepped in at around 8pm. Seems like a popular spot for people to hang out in the area. I am not too sure about the savoury dishes. Everyone around us had just desserts. So I might pick this place to hangout with friends or to satisfy my sweet cravings.

Yelp
This is my second visit to this location. The customer service is always slow and the staff is not knowledgeable at all on the menu items. It was extremely disappointing to find false advertising on their menu. The white chocolate lava cake supposedly has a White's chocolate ganache filling however there is no filling. It's just a vanilla sponge cake with white chocolate drizzled on top. The purpose of a lava cake is to have something inside when you dig in. When I brought this up with the staff they said everything comes prepackaged and all they do is "heat" it up. So nothing is fresh but that's not the point. If the you are saying you have a white chocolate lava cake then make sure it's a real lava cake or advertise it as a regular plain vanilla cake with white chocolate drizzled. It didn't look anything like the picture. Super disappointed. Also it didn't even taste good. The cake was dry and hard. The "white chocolate" drizzled seemed to be separating from the mixture. Anyways safe to say, I would not recommend and I would rather spend my money elsewhere where there are standards for quality of food and service. They have like a 18 year old girl in charge of the shop.

Yelp
Full disclosure that I am giving this location of D Spot 3 stars in comparison to the Mississauga location, which I think is way better. We went here on a Friday night and it was not that packed so we got seated very quickly and the service was very quick. We ordered the lava cake and the together forever milkshake. The chocolate sauce in the lava cake was delicioussss but it seemed like it was poured over the cake instead of inside. I've had the milkshake at the other location in Mississauga and i found it better than here. The reason I have 3 stars is because the Toronto location is pricier than the one in Mississauga. It was over $20 for some of their waffles!! However, I appreciate the fact that this location is halal too and there wasn't a wait. It's a cute place to hang out and have some yummy dessert but be expected to pay a bit.

Yelp
I've been looking for a spot like this downtown Toronto that's along my usual travel loop, so seeing this place open was exciting! Reminiscent of Demetre's that I've grown up with in Richmond Hill, they've got colourful murals all over the walls, a fun menu with cute names for the extensive amount of options they've got. I got a waffle with Black Forest ice cream to share, one of the items off the menu. It was a reasonably sized portion, nothing over the top, decently well presented, and I was excited to try this ice cream flavour I haven't encountered before! First impressions were: my fudge sauce is cold, the ice cream is frosty, and I'm skeptical that I'm getting good value for money. I was very disappointed the sauce was cold - that's laziness for a dessert café when this is really a primary component to their products! If they weren't going to warm it up, just give me the Smuckers' bottle. The ice cream being frost was not ideal - I wasn't sure if the flavour was unpopular or if they mixed ice into the ice cream to lower cost, or if something was wrong with the freezer. I liked the flavour of it though, unique! But not completely sold on the overall product. There were lots to explore on the menu, at a variety of price points. Knowing now that the plate size is smaller than I may imagine, it's actually less off-putting as I can anticipate being able to finish what I order! Not completely convinced by how slow the service was however - couldn't tell if it was a service on the floor issue or a kitchen issue. If I'm in the area and craving dessert I might be back, but it doesn't come off as outstanding. Another chance is warranted, eventually.

Yelp
tried out D Spot Dessert cafe's hot drink, the warm island breeze, it's basically a steamed milk infused with strawberry coconut flavour, and then topped with strawberries drizzle and whip cream! Aside from this, I wish I have the chance to try out their desserts and other cold drinks too~ Warm island breeze - $4.95

Yelp
This place is an awesome addition to my area! I can almost never say that. ITS NOT BUBBLE TEA = AUTOMATIC POINTS. Lots of seating, good for groups or just for a date. Service was super friendly and the kids that work there seem to really care. The menu is extremely extensive - tons of items, including savoury foods, teas, Italian sodas, and of course lots of desserts! So many things sounded amazing. We decided to share a crepe (thank god we shared it was huge and the two of us didn't even finish it). It had vanilla ice cream, cream cheese frosting, toffee sauce and cinnamon. YES IT HAD CREAM CHEESE FROSTING I AM DEAD. Prices were fair for how much food you get. Vibe was good, super super busy but not obnoxiously loud. Can't wait to go back and try more items!

Julia Y.

Yelp
Came here with a friend on a Saturday night with high expectations after looking through the extensive menu options. The place was busy but not too loud or crowded. We ordered: -Godiva cheesecake $11.95 -Custom waffle with fruit $10.95, plus ice cream and Belgian dark chocolate drizzle $1.50 ea (OR SO WE THOUGHT) -Ferrero milkshake $7.99 I'll start with the best part and work my way down. The Godiva cheesecake came a lot smaller than expected, the widest outer edge being about 2in. It wasn't just my slice as another person ordered it and got the same size. For comparison, it is 1/3 the size of the Godiva cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory which we just had the week before (definitely not 1/2). However, it was rich and delicious without feeling too heavy. It came with a pretty good portion of ice cream (2 scoops) which comes in its own separate little bowl. Rating: 4/5 for size. The Ferrero milkshake was a huge disappointment. On the menu it looked like it came in a wide glass with a layer of chocolate before the milkshake portion and an actual Ferrero Rocher on top. Instead it came in a small, thin glass the diameter of a tall cocktail drink. It did NOT come with the chocolate layer nor the Ferrero. Between my friend and I, we finished only half. Rating: 2.5/5 for size and taste. For the waffle, my friend wanted to add ice cream which we couldn't find on the menu as an add-on (all of which were printed as $1.50). When we asked the server whether we could get ice cream as an add on and whether it was also $1.50, she said yes. On the bill, we got charged $2 for the Belgian drizzle and $4.95 for the ice cream. We tipped and paid the full amount anyway (which we both regret), and after politely informing her of the discrepancy, she simply said 'ok'. Not 'sorry'. Ok. The waffle itself was soft and filling with lots of fresh fruit, and came with maple syrup. Rating: 3.5/5 for taste according to my friend. Ambiance: 4/5 (nice decorations, good mix of booths and larger tables that are well-spaced) Service: 3/5 (servers are a bit amateur and not aware of the pricing on their menu) Food: 3/5 (deceptive advertising) Overall we would come again to try more things on the menu, but I would recommend looking at the size of what you order and make sure you're paying for what's advertised.

Yelp
Best dessert cafe I have ever been to hands down!! I love the huge collection of dessert choices they have available. Came here for vacation and had to stop at this cafe 3 times during the duration of our trip because it was that good. 10/10 recommend for everyone with a sweet tooth. They also have savory snacks.
google avatar

Christina Y.

Yelp
What a cute dessert cafe! They have soo many options from pancakes, milkshakes, crepes, waffles, ice cream and light snacks, it's hard to pick just one. Let me just say that everything looked really appealing - great pictures to share on Instagram and definitely going to be a hit with kids. The prices are pretty good as well as their portions are HUGE. However, the overall taste was nothing unique. So it's a 3.5 for me. I will still come back to try out their other desserts and split with some friends. The service is also pretty good, a little rocky as they have new employees who are still undergoing training but positive attitudes from everyone is a plus. Check out this place as a catch-up with friends or family outing!

Yelp
Amazing quality and great price! Huge portions, can easily be shared between 3 people.

Yelp
Excellent service and quality desserts. The hazelnut cheesecake is super moist and creamy. This was by far one of the best cheesecake I've ever had. My wife ordered the cookies and cream waffle. The waffle was perfect and the ice cream was heavenly. This location recently opened up and the service was spectacular. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Delicious!!! My friend and I shared the hidden gem - chocolate lava cake wrapped in a crepe topped with strawberries, bananas, Oreo pieces, Belgium milk and white chocolate with a side of vanilla ice cream. It was so good and definitely satisfies your chocolate and dessert cravings. We each also got a free drink coupon for the next time we come which was nice. It was both of our first times here and the workers were very friendly. We came pretty late like around 11pm so we didn't have to wait. Will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Came with my mom for mother's day cheat brunch, place was empty and the employee looked like he just woke up. Crepes were very rubbery..portions are huge and coffee is mediocre. My mom was so upset with the desert, the guy had to give her a discount..which i appreciated because their prices are not cheap. Ice cream was really good but there was SO much of it on the crepe that it turned into a soup in no time..overall would not come back but i really wanted to love this place :(

Yelp
This location is newly opened, they have a location in scarborough but this location is perfect for where I work downtown in the city. It's got the cutest décor with artsy walls and puns (if you love cheesy puns, you'll love taking photos here). In recent years a lot of places have taken more care into their decoration, and you can definitely see that here - they cater to all instagram lovers. There is quite a lot of seating and both times I came, it was fairly empty. We were told to pick any seat and were served promptly. The staff here are great and super friendly - I had come twice in two weeks and the waiter even remembered me. Makes me wonder if they have a lot of business... The menu here was so overwhelming for someone who has a hard time with too many options. I had no idea they had real meal options here, but nevertheless, there was a whole page in their menu dedicated to burgers. One that caught my eye was the samosa burger. Of course, I had come for the dessert, so I can't comment on that. My holy grail dessert option is a basic brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle, and this place did not disappoint. The brownie was so warm and soft, and the ice cream went with it perfectly. Our waiter came by several times to check on us on both occasions that I was there. My friend had the chocolate lava cake with ice cream and it was just as good. It tasted quite similar to the brownie but was filled with warm liquid chocolate on the inside. On the second occasion, I opted for my brownie again and shared with a friend as it was too large and too sweet for me to have alone (I didn't end up finishing it the first time). Another friend had the fruit lovers crepe. They were very generous with the amount of fruits that were put on the crepe and it was much lighter than the brownie, but filled her up none the less. The service here was great, and the dessert was even better. Will definitely return and maybe next time I'll try more options on the menu!

Yelp
Amazing desserts for really great prices! As a giant lover of Lava Cake, this was one of the best ones I've ever had. Have been back 3 times and will be back again!

Yelp
This is where you go for old school, diabetes inducing desserts. The options are decadent and simple. I would suggest splitting a dessert with a friend as their portions are huge. My favourite was the Nutella skillet cookie with salted caramel sauce. Our server was really friendly and helpful. This is a great choice for casual hangs!

Yelp
The staff was very nice. I got a waffle with milk chocolate sauce and brownies. Place was clean. Great late night eats. Try their in house ice cream

Yelp
Excellent desserts. Lots of options and you can't go wrong with anything here. The hazelnut cheesecake was our favourite!
