Da Annibale 1968

Ok... usually I don't give 5* but it is impossible don't do it: 1. the location is just wonderful you really feel that you are in the southern Italy. The place is clean and elegant but humble as well. It is so confident that the kitchen is clean that one part of the kitchen is an "open kitchen "( just covered by a transparent glass). 2.food and price: I've been around for a while and in this place the food is perfect: the ingredients are fresh and the presentation is gorgeous. It cost just 1 or 2 euros more than others restaurants in the area where the food is frozen!( I tried) !! In the Annibale 1968 restaurant the price is worth it... if you are looking for an unforgettable Italian experience go for it, otherwise you can try in front of the Castle and spend 1 or 2 euros less and eat defrosted food. It is up to you.

Incredible food and hospitality from the chef and staff of Da Annibale. We were quite early so we had the lovely restaurant to ourselves. Got served great food for coeliacs, a pumpkin starter, sea bass as main and finished with a local amaro. Definitely worth a visit!

Un’esperienza davvero piacevole! Ho mangiato benissimo: piatti curati, sapori autentici e grande attenzione ai dettagli. L’ambiente è perfettamente estivo, con un’atmosfera rilassata e luminosa, ma senza rinunciare a quel tocco di eleganza che fa la differenza. Il personale è gentile e attento, e fa piacere vedere anche i titolari presenti e disponibili. Il servizio è stato abbastanza veloce, anche con il locale pieno. Un posto in cui ci si sente coccolati! Fantastico , antipasto " sardella " e pane casareccio. Un bel primo a base di crostacei e un bel bicchiere di rosato.

I primi piatti molto buoni, tutti delicati ma saporiti, per quanto riguarda il secondo abbiamo assaggiato soltanto il polpo con il caciocavallo e non era gran che (più che altro sapeva molto di griglia, probabilmente non pulita bene), le patate di fianco al polpo buone. Servizio non dei migliori ma nemmeno dei peggiori, ambiente carino, immerso nel verde pur essendo in città. Consiglio vivamente là aglio e olio con gamberi e taralli, davvero gustosa… Prezzi onesti, sicuramente meglio di altri ristoranti in zona in cui si paga uguale ma la qualità non è la stessa
