Fantastic pizza! Both my husband and I loved our pizzas - he chose Zucchini Flowers with Four Cheeses, and I the Salami Pizza. It was delicious! I can’t say it was the best ever (I’m from Montréal and very lucky to have had Eurodeli which in my mind is the top slice - but sadly they’re out of business…) but it was close to the best ever. If you don’t like lines arrive just before 21h and you should be seated right away - after that there is a queue but it moves fast. The Peroni on tap (spina) is cold and fresh, the Lambrusco is trash - don’t order it! But it’s cheap so no one will be sad. Dinner of two pizzas, two large Peroni drafts and a bottle of (revolting) Lambrusco: 50€. Go, don’t pass this up! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕(as a note - everyone sitting around us was speaking Italian… so, I guess the Italians like it too 🤷‍♂️😀)

If a tight restaurant with tons of tourists and locals doesn't scare you, Da Baffetto is a very good place to taste Italian Pizza. The main store was closed for lunch during a weekday, so we headed to Baffetto 2. It was quite crowded and it took couple of minutes to get a table. The Pizzas are a little bit burned in the sides, but they are extremely delicious. The Quattro Formaggi+ Fiori di zucca was the most delicious dish we had there, so I totally recommend it. Prices are fair, and the best thing is that you see the owner also working in the restaurant, and she makes sure that you leave there full and happy! This restaurant is quite famous, there are also many photos of the celebrities on the wall: Francescto Totti, Russel Crowe and ironically, Lucian Spalletti.

One of the best pizzas I've had in Rome! You can see the flames in the pizza oven as you walk in, and the smell is amazing! Pizzas are big, well priced and the Margherita was delicious! Thin, crispy edges, and melt in the mouth centre. Perfect!

Google
It was Ok, The pizza was good , but caprese salad without pesto i don't like it. Тhe restaurant is in an interesting location, almost to the street, I wouldn't say it's the best place, but it's ok for dinner.

Google
The food was mediocre. The Baffetto 2 was not so bad, just not as good as we thought, but another one is totally over salted. Poor amount of cheese as well, compared to other restaurant we went to.

Google
Definitely some of the best pizza I've ever had. The staff was also very welcoming and the gelato was a great way to end the meal.

Google
I really tried to finish it all. It was so good I wanted to eat the whole thing. Don't even dare to call it a plain cheese pizza. There was so much flavor in that sauce, there was no need for anything else. Molto bono!

Best calzone in Roma, I discovered this place by pure coincidence by trying to cover myself from rain. Service is nice and quick. Would recommend any day.

Yelp
I should note, my ranking is based on my experience eating here through EF Tours as they served us a pre-ordered meal. I did notice the customers who ordered from the menu had completely different and better looking food options. So the problems... we were given bottled water in bottles that appeared to have the labels coming off and no lids. I then noticed regular customers received new sealed bottles. Another woman in our group, watched them refill out bottles with faucet water. Second, I previously requested dairy free meals for the trip and was brought a pizza with tons of sauce and mushrooms- no one ever checked with me to see if this was an ok alternative. When I questioned why I received a mushroom pizza, they agreed to switch to match our group but hold the cheese. I was told the group was having pizza with salami - do I received burnt pizza with tons of sauce and a little bit of salami. It tasted horrible! Our group instead received margarita pizzas. My niece who was at the table with me, received her with what she described as water down sauce and burnt crust. Thirdly, I noticed we were served completely by an Asian-Indian staff but when regular customers started showing up, the staff switched to Italians. Needless to say I was completely disappointed with the entire meal! Again, note this review is based solely on their EF Tours pre-planned meal at this restaurant (but they should be ashamed to have served a downgraded meal). Other meals I saw at the restaurant actually looked appealing and service was completely different.

Yelp
Recommended to me and my parents by our Italian tour guide Simona, after the Baffetto original that she dropped us off at for lunch was closed. Excellent choice! They were able to seat us within ten minutes, though the restaurant was already pretty full, around 1:30pm on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. The interior of the place is casual, like something you would expect of a daytime pizzeria. But the pizza itself--Mama Mia! It was exactly what we were looking for when we went on a search for true Italian pizza. It had a crunchy thin crust with wonderfully flavorful cheese and sauce on top. I recommend pairing it with the house wine, which was also quite good and quite inexpensive. All of the prices there were very reasonable. Additionally, the service was very friendly. Our waiter made a good number of jokes to us while he took our orders. Would gladly return should I ever get the chance!

Yelp
Came by for a quick lunch. The staff was friendly, food was good, and prices were reasonable. We ordered a buffalo pizza and an antipasto of charcuterie. The pizza was super thin and delicious as well as the charcuterie. The half liter of wine came in a quaint carafe. Overall, a good lunch spot.

Yelp
Warm staff, quick service and authentic pizza, Roma-style. We ordered 2 pizzas: smoked bacon and provolone and sausage, onion and mushroom. To start, suppli alla telephone, of course. The crust was thin and crispy, sauce was vibrant and delicious. Come hungry and get ready to enjoy a slice of heaven.

Yelp
Still dreaming of Da Bafetto We went to Rome 2 years ago and we still talk about the pizza at Da Baffetto. Our Airbnb host sent us there. We went back multiple times during our stay. I can't vouch for how they have fared during the pandemic (hope they are well!) but the quality is amazing.

Yelp
The menu was in 4 languages, so my husband and I were quite happy. However, the waiter's English was not as strong. This does not bother us at all. Traveling the world, we have made ourselves understood and have prayed that we haven't been Ugly Americans in the process. Maybe, we should have taken a hint when the waiter had to clear other tables before taking our order or that the place was empty at 5:15. We also order two Coke Lights; one came. The rest of the time, the waiter was on his phone. Some of the food, however, was wonderful! The cook went out of his way to make my husband bruschetta without anchovies and the potato croquet was delicious! Unfortunately, my lasagne reminded me of Chef Boyardee.

Yelp
Not a whole lot to say....lol. Arrived, this place was packed! Luckily, we were able to seat a table for four....took quite awhile to get served...but expected, as busy as this place was. Eventually, food came out hot and was quite delicious!! So much flavor packed in these little meals. I heard the noodles are house made and they sure tasted like it. Quite delicious. So, pretty good service, good food, and a nice environment ....why not this place? They stay open late and have plenty of seating. :)

Yelp
They have amazing thin pizza that is also pretty crispy! The food was great and filling! The overall restaurant atmosphere was clean as well! Will plan to visit again next time I'm in Rome!

Yelp
The buffalo mozzarella cheese pizza was delicious. The pepperoni was large and yummy. The service was great. Friendly and helpful.

Yelp
The pasta was completely undercooked, not even close to being al dente. While the tomato sauce was okay it was simple and lacked anything special. Unfortunately though the undercooked pasta made the meal inedible. The simple salad I had on the side was fine but had way too much oil and salt on it. The waiters were nice though.

Yelp
I searched for great Roman pizza for days, only to discover that Baffetto 2 (next to my Airbnb) is the best. They also make great pasta, and insalata caprese. This is thin-crust magic, about 14 inches, and at a great price of €8-€12 each. Need to-go? It was ready within 10 minutes. Need a big group space, they have you covered with both indoor and outdoor seating. Nervous about your spoken Italiano? No problem, they speak English and don't hesitate to help you. That said, this isn't tourist quality pizza. It's the real deal. Quality toppings and fresh dough. Watch it get made at the counter. It's a block from the Campo de Fiore and 200 yards south of Piazza Navona. Just south of via Vittorio Emanuel.

Yelp
Fantastic Pizza Well worth the walk from Saint Peters . Yelp got us right to the door

Yelp
This place was recommended to us by a local of Rome! I'm so glad we went! The restaurant was huge, upstairs, downstairs and outside sitting. But we happened to be there when it was slow which was great! The house red wine was smooth and chilled which was very refreshing after walking all day and touring the colosseum! We ordered the fried risotto for an appetizer, amazing! I order pizza amatriciana and my boyfriend ordered a pizza with onions, olives, and sausage. Both were very good and huge! We were actually too full for dessert! The prices were excellent for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend, if you have time to make it!

Omg I just love it! Pizzas and pastas, local beer. Great service, place great to eat and spend nice time. Highly recommended.

Yelp
While this place is good, I would say it's far beyond its prime. Based on the reviews, we hurried to get there before the crowds at 19:30. Guess what when we arrived there we were one of maybe four groups on the patio (it can accommodate probably 30 groups). Even after we left at 21:00, there where still a TON of tables available. After taking a look over the menu, we ordered some of the house wine and my husband ordered the Baffetto 2 pizza and I made my own - a combo of the margarita and zucchini/garlic. The pizzas came out rather quickly (perhaps bc no one was there). Mine was actually very tasty, but my husbands was not good at all. It featured an egg which was so undercooked, he could not eat most of it- EW! I would say that this is probably a good lunch option if you are in the area but not worth seeking out/going for dinner.

Yelp
Simple Italian cuisine with happy atmosphere. Fresh products and a vast variety of antipasti. The highlights, of course, were the pizzas, coming from the coals oven with thin and crispy dough. Very good for family or friends informal dinner.

Yelp
Simple Roman eatery with authentic food and famous for its truly great pizza! No fuss, friendly service, inexpensive prices, simple decor. Also frequented by locals. A very pleasant experience among the many tourist traps of the area! Review is based on 3+ visits.

Yelp
Same management of the original Baffetto, but larger and with less waiting time, here it's possible to book and enjoy a good pizza also with a large group of friends. Pizza is good and prices are honest: for an appetizer, a pizza and a beer you can spend around €15, which is no bad at all considering it's central Rome. There's also a large room downstairs, ideal for birthday parties and large groups, and a large patio outside with heaters for the colder season.

Yelp
Did someone said PIZZA! This is your place to go if you're craving pizza. We found this restaurant as a recommendation from our tour book and it didn't fail. Atmosphere is super casual and the patio area is secluded from the flower boys that put the roses in your face. Pizza was very good and filling, prices are decent compared with how expensive eating can be in Italy. The waiters were all very attentive and helpful. TIP: If you're going for dinner shoot for 1930-2000 because after that time the place gets packed and believe me so packed that the fire department will have a fit if they had to inspect them.

Yelp
Went to baffetos 2 since it had been recommended to us by family who had lived in Rome. Lovely little setting. We sat upstairs and ordered a mixed salad and our pizzas. We he the pizza Baffeto and the pizza salami. They were delicious but we made the mistake of ordering a large of each so maybe it would be better off to share a pizza with someone of you aren't too hungry if not order their smaller one. Price was about €32 for both of us which is not bad at all. Would go back again.

Yelp
We had an excellent meal here recently while visiting Rome. (We are from California.) My husband had "The Baffetto 2 House Pizza" and hasn't stopped talking about it yet. Don't miss your chance to eat here!

Noah H.

Yelp
We ate here twice because the food is great, the service good and the prices fair. Don't overlook the salads if looking for better options.

Jonathan o.

Yelp
Slow service, one meal didn't arrive. No tap water available. Overcharged on the bill. Elbow bangingly close to other tables. Food was acceptable however.
