Where can you find a $15 shrimp burrito unchanged in price since 2019?
Checked on this place on ordering over the web site, and the prices were astronomical. $14.50 for a chicken dish, $18 for a fish dish, $18 for a shrimp dish, with the chicken sold out late in the afternoon.
Drove in the following day at 530pm. Strip mall, with parking in front of the stores, and on the opposite side against the short curb wall delineating it from the road.
Full size pickup parked at the entrance made it difficult for cars to enter, due to the narrowness of the opening. At least he backed it in, with the long cargo bed extending over the sidewalk in front of the stores, and not into the parking lot.
Checked the cash prices on the menu outside the restaurant, and chicken dishes were $12, shrimp dishes $15, fish dishes $15. 3.9% surcharge for using credit card. And prices 20% higher when ordering on the internet.
You need to specify type of dish, type of meat, type of rice, type of beans, type of sauce, spice level of sauce, type of cheese, whether you want cabbage, olives, or $3.50 guacamole, and whether you want it with or on the side.
30 minute wait for meals, while I acted as traffic coordinator, assisting drivers backing out using three point turns multiple times. Some folks just backed out the entire length of the narrow parking lot.
Wife liked her $15 shrimp bowl, and wife's sister liked her $14 carne asada steak bowl, both with pico de gallo sauce and shredded cabbage. I got the $14 flour tortilla carne asada steak burrito. I would have preferred lettuce, or cooked cabbage instead of raw cabbage, but that was not an option. Next time order spicy sauce on the side (SOS).
The pork, beef, and steak meats are pre cooked, and sit over hot water vats, and will come out well done, and on the dry side. Folks like Yelpers Dean C, and Henry M who like their beef medium rare are SOL.
Finished the foot long 2 pound burrito, and went into food coma the rest of the evening. This place is for people with big appetites and compact cars.
Da Crack resembles a crack house with a narrow window opening for transactions surrounded by bullet proof brick walls. I know this based on Hollywood movies and not from personal experience.
