We had a wonderful vegetarian dining experience at Da Gabrisa, the elegant restaurant at Hotel Villa Gabrisa. Francesco was superb and gave great recommendations! The menu offers inventive vegetarian and vegan dishes, and we sampled several delicious items:
Spaghetti ai pomodori e basilico: simple, perfectly cooked spaghetti with fragrant tomato sauce and fresh basil—we absolutely loved the noodles.
Pizza di scarola con capperi ed olive: a fried pizza stuffed with escarole, capers, and olives—beautifully crisp, though we found the fried bread a bit heavy for our tastes.
“Come una polpetta al ragù”: hearty lentil meatballs in a savory tomato sauce—comforting and flavorful.
For dessert, we indulged in two cheesecake variations that impressed in different ways:
The first, Tiramisù con gelato al caffè abbinato con Irish cream o rum al caffè, was rich and luxurious—the rum-flavored pairing gave it a wonderfully adult twist. It felt like a cheesecake with a spirited kick.
The second, Cheesecake vegana agli agrumi abbinato con liquori della costa o porto, was refreshingly citrusy and bright, with a lovely liqueur pairing—but it was the first one that truly stole the show.
Overall, Da Gabrisa delivered delicious vegetarian cuisine with thoughtful presentation and a memorable dessert duo. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Positano and seeking flavorful, satisfying vegetarian options with a view.
