We ate dinner here 2 nights in a row. Tasty food and great service! Fisherman's soup is huge but really superb! Tip: skip the lemon cake, we found the flavor too mild. Get a lemon sorbet from a nearby gelato shop instead!

Such a good experience. We were so happy this was the last dinner in Italy. Totally recommend. Service was great from the get go. Bread was toasted (never had that before), portion size was decently big. We had the scampi linguine and other clam pasta. Good good so good.

A big BRAVO 👍🏻to Mario, Youness and all other team members of Da Maria!! This is hands down the best restaurant in all the Amalfi Coast 🇮🇹🙌🏻⛰ Food quality is unbelievable for the price list ! Impossible to find the same quality and food taste in any other restaurant in the area or other close cities in Amalfi (except if you pay x3 x4 of the price). We came back 3 times during our stay and were taken care of as if we were at home and became family members 🫶🏻 Service was super fast with no mistake, very professional and funny ! We even got some free extras sometimes at the end ! Please one big advice is, if you feel you are waiting a long time in the queue just be patient and don’t go away ! It really deserves the wait in the line , the line is often big but there is a valid reason for that ! Restaurant is unmatched , and don’t worry Mario will tell you approximatively how many minutes you will still have to wait in the line and update you often which is very nice from him ! He also keeps a very fair eye on the line and queue so that there is no order mistake at all and everyone is happy at the end ! Big love and respect for you all 🇮🇹🤝🏻 Cheers, 🇲🇦AMAL and his Wife 🇲🇦

Came here for dinner during one of the nights we were staying in Amalfi. We went early so didnt have to wait for a table. Service and food was excellent throughout our meal and props to the wait staff who were very attentive, friendly and polite despite it being quite busy. Highly recommend their daily in house ravioli which had a great filling and was beautifully cooked and also the tomato salad which was simple and highlighted the quality of produce. Compliments and thanks to the chef and staff at Da Maria.

This restaurant is a true gem for pasta lovers. The pasta is simply amazing—cooked to perfection with rich, flavorful sauces that will leave you craving more. Pair it with their excellent selection of wines, and you have a dining experience that's hard to beat. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great pasta and wine.

Google
4+. Really nice restaurant, with kind and attentive staff. They offer outdoor seating but it’s right by the Main Street, so we opted for a table indoors. The menu is rather large and also offers pizza. We ordered peppered mussels with lemon, fried fish and grilled vegetables. The food was really really good, and the price fair for the quality.

Google
Genuinely think this was my favourite restaurant I went to during my time in the Amalfi Coast! The food was divine and so great - was particularly a fan of the seafood pasta! Would deffo return if I’m ever back in Amalfi. Also great amount of fans to keep restaurant cool when dining indoors!

Google
For our few days in Amalfi we went to this place multiple times. Besides the food being really really good, the waiter was absolutely incredible. He made us feel welcome, was funny and we could tell he really enjoys his job. He brought a spark and life to the place that we missed in other restaurants. Would highly highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. Food is really well priced. Would recommend their aubergine pasta

Yelp
Started this review before I ate. To be honest the only reason I started the review was because of the relatively rude service obtained. Up until now every Italian waiter was happy to see and service us. VERY low pressure. This was not the case today. When ordering a beire he was quick to tell me I could not just order a beire because this was a ristorante. The food was very good.

Yelp
Hands down our favorite spot in the town of Amalfi, Italy! We loved it so much we went back twice! The staff were so friendly & the food Oh M-GEE! Everything was fresh & delicious! Before we went back home to the states I had to go back one more time! Pictured is the scampi linguine and the primavera pizza!

Yelp
This place was unbelievably good. The best pizza I have had. I'm writing this review after 8 days in Italy having tried food from Positano, Naples, Sorrento, and Rome and I can say the best pizza we have had during this trip is from this location. Conveniently located in Amalfi, and really affordable prices. We got the pizza with mozzarella, potatoes, basil, ham. When you arrive to the entrance, walk to the back of the restaurant and you'll be seated. Delicious!!!!

Yelp
We immediately grabbed an outdoor table here on a slightly rainy afternoon and were very happy with our decision. This little restaurant is nestled in the main walkway in Amalfi and perfect for anyone stopping into the town. The restaurant has lots of different options for food but we decided to order some pizza since we were in the mood. All 3 pizza varieties that we tried were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. They were very fresh and left us full for most of the day! We were also able to have a nice view of the street and do some people-watching as we ate, which made for an interesting dining experience.

Becca P.

Yelp
Delicious food and wonderful service. I ordered the ravioli and had a side salad. The atmosphere was relaxing and feel good.

Mike M.

Yelp
Just finished up wine pizza and mussels in tomato sauce waited on line at 630 for their team to open worth the wait and service is outstanding as is the food

Brenda B.

Yelp
This is probably the best restaurant in Amalfi hands down. They have a great menu and authentic Italian food. The family is Italian but speak English which was great. The waiters are great looking Italian men. Luigi was our waiter and was the most helpful and friendly waiter! He took pictures with us and for us and offered to help in any way. He also helped with picking great options on the menu. They have a brick oven fit the pizzas which come out wonderful! Highly recommend if you are staying in Amalfi or fit a bite to eat in the center of town. It's right next to the beautiful church with the long staircase. Take a tour of the Church while you are there. Amalfi is a wonderful place!!

Ken K.

Yelp
Arrived around 1pm and had no wait. Definitely have to try the amber Jack fish! Very tasteful and the potatoes/ tomatoes compliment the dish well

Abha S.

Yelp
Tucked inside Amalfi past the cathedral is where this restaurant is located. When we came they weren't serving pizza unfortunately. That's their speciality so I can't really comment on it. We had the pasta dishes and they were Average in flavor and presentation. There's a lot of dining space inside though and clean bathrooms so not an unpleasant experience.

Samantha P.

Yelp
Wow... if you are in Amalfi you have to try this place! They have a large menu but we were in the mood for pizza. Let me tell you it was the best pizza I had during my two week journey in Italy and my native relatives also kept talking about how good the pizza was! They also had a ton of pizza options which is always nice.

Tarek B.

Yelp
One of the best we've had on our trip to Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Highly recommended if you like seafood.

Debbie C.

Yelp
Found this restaurant rated great on yelp and we couldn't agree more. Five of us stopped in for lunch and our waiter was to friendly and helpful. Sat us at the perfect table looking outside but cool inside. My husband and I shared the seafood platter appetizer and it was amazing with so many various kinds of seafood. My friend has pasta with shrimp and it was delicious with home made pasta in a scamp type of sauce. The salad and pizza were also very good. Cute place to have lunch

Kelli P.

Yelp
Great service and amazing pizza! Perfect lunch spot for our day trip to Amalfi. And the setting was beautiful.

Fred K.

Yelp
A little bit of a wait on an early April evening, but well worth it. We had the two-person seafood appetizer - everything from fried anchovies (unbelievably good), smoked swordfish carpaccio, to a couple of different kinds of polpo (octopus). Wow. Probably one of the best mixed seafood plates I've ever had. Pizze were also very good. My wife had the eggplant, zucchini, and peppers. I had pancetta and onion. Our youngest had a basic ravioli with meat sauce but he loved it. Paired it all with Rebellum, a Ravello sparkling. Nice! Would absolutely return!

Chris C.

Yelp
One of our favorite and best meals while in Italy. Not sure what was better, the food or the service or the conversation with the host. Grilled seabass and homemade pasta with clams!!

Emily M.

Yelp
Loved this place!! The food is so amazing and service and ambiance are great! And the prices were the best as well! We kept going back to this restaurants over and over! Highly recommend it, you'll love it!

Slava R.

Yelp
Food is very tasty and service very good. Highly recommended. It was recommended by hotel host when we asked where local eat. And we were not disappointed, because the food was very tasty.

Deja V.

Yelp
One of the best pizza places ever in amalfi coast with a nice up front outside seatings watching people goes by . Their pizza was delicious and made to perfection . Would love to come back eat here again with the cheap wines.

Hue H.

Yelp
Allora... It's hard not to feel like a tourist when you're in a destination spot for tourists, like the insanely busy Amalfi. Da Maria is family owned and it shows. Truly efficient and warm staff serving simple but delicious variations of what you'd expect from a solid ristorante. Try the Amalfi Lemon Spritz to cool off. Their pizzas are flavorful and creative - so many to choose from. Our table also had the ravioli with Bolognese as well as a chicken dish that was so tender. Nicest waiter we've come across in the region.

Kayla M.

Yelp
Had a great experience here! We had a reservation and sat inside right away. We had excellent service from Luigi throughout our dinner. The eggplant melted in your mouth and my pasta dish had 28 clams!! Inside has a cozy atmosphere. We finished with a refreshing limoncello. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

Morgan F.

Yelp
Was pouring rain one of the days we were in Amalfi and we were looking for pizza and wine in a cozy spot to hang for the day. Da Maria was recommended by our hotel and it was perfect. Pizzas were delicious and wine was flowing. Probably some of the best pizza we had while in Italy! Our waiter Luigi was so friendly!

James L.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Nice ambience located in the center of Amalfi town. Would definitely visit next time in Amalfi.

Aishwarya S.

Yelp
Best pizza on the Amalfi Coast, don't even bother trying others. Ate here on our first night and wished we were there instead every subsequent meal. Esp loved the Diavola!

Sandi H.

Yelp
Great food and service! Clean and the owner was very friendly. He enjoyed our appetizers and drinks

David B.

Yelp
Recommended by the staff at Villa Maria Luigia we found it easily in the heart of the Amalfi town. My wife was looking for rigatoni in a cream sauce and we found it here. Fresh mushrooms with the best sauce ever. I ordered the Catalina pizza ham, mozzarella, onions and I ended up sharing my pizza because we both agreed it was the BEST pizza we have ever eaten in our lives. Her pasta was exceptional and the portions are huge. Sitting on the street enjoying the passers by as we sipped beer and wine in Italy. Come on, this place is the dream you have of Italy. The servers speak wonderful English and if you try your Italian they will help out with that too. Don't miss this place! We told another couple looking at the menu to order pizza and when we walked by later they were all smiles and thanked us for the recommendation.

Alyssa G.

Yelp
Absolutely loved it here!! Ended up here for lunch one day during our stay and had the incredible limoncello spritz, rigatoni and risotto. Giorgio was so helpful and friendly - we were so happy to have a chance to go back before leaving Italy and stopped for dinner the next night. Got the exact same order - a rarity for us and we consider it our favorite meal of our Italian vacation!!! Eat here and give Giorgio our love!! He deserves it!!!

Matt H.

Yelp
We had 4 star food (pizza) but 0 star service. The waiter came to us a total of 2 times all night and as soon as we finished eating the waiter brought us our check like he was trying to get rid of us (this is the first time I have ever been brought my check without asking in Italy). The first time he came to our table he asked for our order, drinks and food. Luckily we knew what we wanted because we had been sitting there for awhile. He didn't bring us our food, or check in on how it was. The second time he came by he grabbed our empty pizza trays and set down the check. I would recommend going anywhere but here.

Akhila R.

Yelp
Oh my, Da Maria is good. My friend and I stayed in Amalfi for four days, and we were recommended to go here by a local. The pizza is delicious!! We also tried the seafood pasta, but the pizza surpassed it in taste. We ended up going to Da Maria four times, trying a different flavor every time, and every pizza was amazing. I still dream of this pizza! However, one of the waiters was going around telling Americans that Trump will be a great president. I think he meant no harm and was trying to make conversation, but spreading misinformation like that is dangerous... it was very for odd for not just my table, but the American couple next to us, who said they wanted to pretend to be Canadian so they wouldn't have to engage in a conversation about politics. If it wasn't for this, I would've given this place 5 stars, but waiters just can't go around expressing their political views, especially if they don't know much about what they're talking about..

Dan M.

Yelp
Amalfi, Italy... Well, Amalfi has many restaurants. Da Maria is fantastic. Near the Duomo di Amalfi. The food is incredible. The cost is reasonable and the waitstaff is friendly and outgoing. Our server was Gregorio. He was attentive and personable. Great guy. Grab an outside table and watch the folks pass by. You will love it.

Haroon A.

Yelp
This is the most amazing place to eat in Amalfi. The waiter was very courteous and the food amazing We had pizza, wine, orange juice, ravioli and everything was perfectly prepared. Gregorio our waiter was by far the best waiter. He served us with a smile and with his good looks and exceptional service convinced me to write a review. Do not miss this gem when in Amalfi

Kim N.

Yelp
This was the one place I was able to dine at while docked in Naples, Italy during a cruise this past month. We took a tour past Positano to the Amalfi coast and per our tour guide, was recommended to eat here. My initial reaction was to ditch the group and go down an alley where we may get a better feel for the food since Da Maria's location is a prime tourist trap. However, we stuck it through as to not get lost and I'm glad to say we were not disappointed! My table of 4 ordered fried calamari, a margherita pizza, and seafood risotto. The portions were larger than we'd seen in other areas in Italy and it roughly came out to only 12 Euros a person, including water and tip! Everything was extremely delicious and fresh. The seafood was plenty in the risotto; clams, mussels, octopus. The pizza was probably one of the better pizzas I've had while in Italy as well (yes, there is such a thing as having a not so good pizza in Italy).

Erich D.

Yelp
We sort of got suckered in to dining here 'cuz the guy outside kept proclaiming how the pizza here was the best in the world. We had stopped by a couple of other places outside the main tourist area of the city of Amalfi before dining here, receiving less than a warm welcome or service, so we came back eager to try the "famed" pizzas here. Honestly, they did not disappoint. I don't think they were the best in the world but they were certainly some of the best wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas we had on our trip. And yeah, they cost 1/3 the price of what a restaurant in San Francisco putting out similar quality would charge us. Love leaving a good restaurant with my pockets still feeling heavy.

Candace M.

Yelp
The staff was incredibly accommodating and sweet! The best food! The staff was so nice with helping us through the menu in English. They make it easy. Must order the lemon spritz!

Cindy Gonzales H.

Yelp
The town of Amalfi was quiet due to the off season and most of all the coronavirus epidemic! We fund this place by the reviews and the food and service was amazing. If you are in Amalfi you need to eat here!

Brent D.

Yelp
Great food, Great service Surprise cream filled pastry with lemon cream on top, see pic, great

mark l.

Yelp
Pizza to seafood-good local eats with al fresco seating well integrated with the energy of the nightlife flowing in and out of the piazza.

Shmall P.

Yelp
This was the best food ever. It made my life. I came out of this restaurant a new man. The ravioli was amazing and so was the pizza. Highly recommended!

Lauren B.

Yelp
We had the best meal at da Maria! First of all, the food was absolutely delicious. We had an anchovy pizza, anchovies/grilled octopus/fish with salad, pasta with clams, and limoncello to finish! The pizza was absolutely amazing- all of the seafoods tasted so fresh. The limoncello at the end was the perfect finish to our meal. The service was also superb. All of the waiters were so nice and attentive, and the owner, Mario, was so friendly greeting all of us and checking in throughout the meal. They made us all feel so welcome. Overall, would highly recommend this place to anyone in Amalfi!

R P.

Yelp
This was by far one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The crust is made with quality ingredients and cooked perfectly by a wood burning pizza oven. The sauce was freshly made with local ingredients and had the perfect amount of seasoning. If you're in Amalfi, make sure you try this place! Also - the staff is absolutely amazing and thankful for your business.

Andre D.

Yelp
Average, like a lot of these places in tourist areas, over priced for what you get and unfortunately, overrated. The eggplant was OK, the chicken for 15 euro is thin and tiny, not much of a meal, it's no wonder you have to fill up on table bread.

Jihea P.

Yelp
A great friendly restaurant to dine in! The restaurant owner is super friendly and makes rounds and asks about the food quality. We had lunch here - house special ravioli and fried seafood (fish of the day). The fried fish was better than the ravioli but both were set amazing! The owner speaks great English (apparently lived in England for few years)! He also recommended a gelato place and limoncello place across the street. Oh - the restaurant does have "cover fee" and charges for bread.

Jim L.

Yelp
We had lunch there yesterday and is was excellent. There are 3 of us and we all had different foods. Calzone is not on the menu but they happily made me the best Italian calzone I have ever had. My wife had vegetable homemade soup and my son had mussels and clams with Linguine. Both were terrific. The people working there were terrific. It is a little hard to find but worth the search. It is just off the square. Jim from Boston

Camille E.

Yelp
Very good. Came in on a long bus ride from Napoli starving. Ordered a delicious seafood pizza with mozzarella. Food came quickly, crust was crispy, I had a nice array of seafood. My fiancée had the sausage and broccoli pizza, friend had the margherita pizza. Everyone was raving. My only gripes are that they needed to drain the seafood from the pizza a little more and they forgot to bring our complimentary bread. Overall delicious!! See my picture added.

David A.

Yelp
Very fun experience with a very pleasant staff plus food was delicious!! The pizzas were well made and the cold seafood antipasto was delicious! Would recommend if you're in the Amalfi town

John A.

Yelp
Gregorio was our waiter and was terrific. Well spoken, funny, and efficient. We had a wonderful evening. The fried seafood antipasti was decadent. We also shared the ravioli dinner and veal scaloppini. Both were lush. Definitely go there

Melissa L.

Yelp
They were very busy but we got good service and they were friendly. The homemade pasta with seafood was delicious! I would definitely get it again. My friend had the risotto with seafood and that was perfectly cooked and delicious. Of course because it's on one of the main touristy streets it's a little on the pricier side.

Nathan N.

Yelp
This was a highlight of our restaurant explorations. Decent and helpful service (attentive, but not exactly doting) and fantastic food. We had the Titti Pizza and the fried seafood dish (with fried calamari, fried anchovies, and fried fish), and a pasta with cream sauce (I think it was a rigatoni dish) which were ALL superb. Great place and we would've been back but they close Mondays.

Julia M.

Yelp
Recommended by our local boat driver, this place is the real deal. Fantastic, fresh bubbly crisp pizzas, excellent house wine and delicious appetizers. We had a lovely (and super reasonable) lunch here after our morning boat cruise and LOVED it. We're harsh critics of pizza coming from NYC but were not disappointed. Will be recommending it to all of our friends for their upcoming visits

Anita S.

Yelp
Best pizza in town and great service. They were even able to accommodate my modifications to ensure a vegetarian meal. highly recommend!
