Da Paolino is more than just a meal, it's an experience! From the moment we stepped into the enchanting lemon grove, we were captivated. The ambiance is truly magical, with the fragrant scent of citrus blossoms and the twinkling lights creating a romantic atmosphere. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious, featuring fresh, local ingredients. But let's be honest, the real stars of the show are the views and the decor. Dining under a canopy of lemon trees with the Capri landscape as your backdrop is simply unforgettable. Tip: Be sure to make a reservation, as this popular spot fills up quickly. Da Paolino is a must-visit for anyone seeking an enchanting and delicious dining experience in Capri. It's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a memorable evening.

An amazing and romantic dining experience under beautiful lemon trees. From the moment you arrive, you are in lemon paradise and greeted with exceptional hospitality. We started in the cocktail lounge and had the most delicious drinks before being seated at our table, where I was given a special stand for my purse! We split lemon pasta to start and then had the Lemon Chicken and Steak for entrée. The food was incredible, fresh, delicious, and the service was fabulous. At the end of the meal, we were invited to enjoy their dessert buffet, which was truly what dreams are made of! I would highly recommend Da Paolino!!

The food was good, the service was not good. They forgot to bring us oil and salt for the bread. So weren’t really able to enjoy the bread before the main course arrived, but of course we had to pay € 16 for it. It was difficult to get to order, because the waiter rarely came to the table. He was not nice either. The beef was perfect. The pasta was good. The dessert buffet was simple. The lemon trees are pretty. I would not go twice to Da Paolino.

Google
Lively restaurant that lives up to the hype. It doesn’t just serves great food but also has a lovely cozy atmosphere even with a crowded place. The traditional dancing brings up people together and adds on the fun vibes to the restaurant.

Google
Setting was fabulous. Service was ok ended up pouring our own wine for us at the table. Because no one came over for 15 mins as we sat with empty glasses and a half full bottle. Everything else was great. The place is beautiful. Food was on par .

Google
Incredible. We got the grilled mozzarella, the lemon 🍋 tagliatelle, the sea bass and the grilled calamari. This place is exceptional and a must go while in Capri! There was also a cute stray cat 🐈 , lol

Google
I was disappointed by this restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, but the prices are absolutely inflated and the food alright. Our lamb chops tasted mostly burnt, and 26 euro cocktails are absurd. The lemon grove is nice, though.

Aaron Lu

Google
The atmosphere was magical and every person had a job whether it was taking orders, payments, ordering taxi’s , cleaning the bathroom, or checking people in. I thought the food was quite average.

Yelp
Fantastic experience. Like stepping into a Disney fairytale. If you came here and ordered a cocktail and one dish you played yourself. Maybe you should have gone to "Olive Garden". On the other hand, if you come here with the intention of experiencing a real Italian dinner with someone you love, you really can't beat the wine selection, ambiance, meal options, service and so on. We started with the Tuna Tartar and a dozen oysters, paired with a bottle of white wine. We had the lemon spaghetti, lamb shanks, dessert bar and limoncello. Everything was excellent. Our server was also a great guy who had been dating a girl from Los Angeles, which made for fun conversation. The hostesses took photos of us and the tables next to us were also great people having the time of their lives. Highly recommend if you know what you are doing. If not there are plenty of tourist traps at the marina to choose from.

Yelp
Was very excited to dine here, this was the reservation my husband and I were most excited about for our honeymoon but we were underwhelmed. I feel like it's overhyped... it's a nice restaurant, but I think there's definitely way better and more affordable options in Capri. The food was fine, nothing spectacular but not bad either. The restaurant is decorated nicely. Not a restaurant we would come back to but to go once was nice.

Matthew R.

Yelp
Food was fine and the service was satisfactory. This place seems like it's been fairly commercialized as they are shuffling the multiple guests and tables around to what appears to be to get as many customers in and out as possible. What is worth seeing (along with multitudes of the Italian glitterati) is the amazing ambiance and space they have created. It would be hard not to be impressed by the perfectly manicured lemon grove they have incorporated the restaurant into. The staff "uniform" of everything/anything citrus seems a bit cliché but adds an air of whimsy to the experience. I presume "papa Paolino" is the elderly man walking around in his fully sequined T-shirt proudly displaying the restaurant logo...

Aya E.

Yelp
Ordered: Mozzarella Al Limone (~€30) Totani E Patate (~€40) Fettuccine con Bolognese (~€40) Linguine Con Crastacei (~€55) Riso Mare (~€46) Dolce E Frutta (~€28) Paolino Spritz (~€22) Paolino Lemonade (~€20) Limoncello shot (complimentary) Aya's take: Let me start off by saying their reservation process is highly random and discriminatory (I won't get into it here but feel free to message me about it). The decor is stunning and it's super spacious; it truly feels like you've teleported to Lemon Land. Out of the appetizers, the Totani E Patate was absolutely incredible. Very unique take on octopus especially mixed in with the fried potatoes. All the pastas were good, and surprisingly the Fettuccine con Bolognese stood out the most. The Spritz & Lemonade were both light and refreshing. After our meals, our waiter "welcomed" us to the dessert bar which we thought was complimentary given how it was described. However, it was ~€28 per plate. Just a heads up for when you go; even if a few people share the plate, it's a better deal than everyone in your party paying the ~€28 separately. It was a good try but given some shady events (our reservation process, a few added charges to our bill, etc.), I don't think I'd go back.

Monica M.

Yelp
We had a late dinner here one of the nights we were in Capri. The atmosphere and dessert bar was the best part! It's not someplace we'd go back to as we had much better food at other restaurants. They definitely cater to the rich and famous, which we are neither.

Maggie J.

Yelp
How can you come to Capri and not go to Da Paolino? We came here for dinner last summer and you truly have to see it to believe it! The size of the lemons here is absolutely unreal. In fact, before dinner we were wondering if these enormous lemons ever fall on people during dinner. They do! It happened to a couple next to us during dinner, it was very entertaining. The night we were there for dinner there was also a very large event happening with a few celebrities in attendance. Even with all of the hoopla our service was not affected throughout the meal. Overall the food was very good but the veal milanese was a bit thick and heavy for my taste. Apparently there is a pasta sampler that you can order if you know to ask for it, which I wish I had know about in advance! I'm not sure that I would put this on my repeat list but was worth the experience!

Yelp
Ristorante Da Paolino is located in the Palazzo a Mare district of Capri, opposite Villa Bismark. A 5 minute walk from Marina Grande, the restaurant is just a short taxi or bus ride away from the Piazzetta and the center of Capri. Dine beneath a blanket of lemon trees, and experience truly authentic Italian cuisine on the island of Capri. Preserving its rustic charm with an assortment of ceramic plates and bowls emblazoned with bright illustrations, the menu is unfussy and flavour-focused. As you might expect, lemon plays a key role in many of the restaurant's signature dishes; alongside the citrus tang, the menu includes fresh seafood, perfectly-cooked steak and a variety of Mediterranan staples including pasta dishes. A regular backdrop to high-profile weddings, the restaurant is illuminated by candles, and the lemon vines dripping from above promise a truly unforgettable dining experience.

Yelp
Da Paolino is perhaps one of the most beautiful places I have ever eaten. There are beautiful lemon trees that act as a canopy over the dining tables. The lemon trees provide a peaceful, serene ambiance and adequate shading (in most parts) of the outdoor seating area. That being said, a scenic background does not come for free. The cover charge per person (about 6 euros) is a bit more expensive than other restaurants at Capri. Da Paolini is known for hosting famous celebrities such as Dwayne Wade and Elton John so don't be shocked by the sticker price. The food was not amazing, but it was pretty tasty. They had some unique dishes that were very well done. I ordered the lemon ravioli and loved how the chef extracted the flavors of the lemon without having it overpowering the dish. Although my dish was a bit small, the quality was good. The servers mixed up a few of the dishes at my table so there was some opportunity for improvement but they were pleasant. In order to eat at the restaurant, you have to make a reservation. It is very hard to email and get a reservation confirmation so I would recommend calling. If you don't speak Italian, then call and use the Google translate to hear the options. I think I had to press "2" to reach the host.

Ruby G.

Yelp
I mean, just wow. Da Paolino is the restaurant of my dreams. Walking into Da Paolino, one is captivated by the huge lemons dangling from the intertwining vines encapsulating the entirety of the restaurant. Waiters rush to greet you and escort you to your table. We got the caprese salad to start. Plump, sweet cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and bright, fresh green olive oil. Perfect. I ordered the lemon ricotta ravioli...and wow. The lemon was perfect, tart, not overpowering. My husband ordered spaghetti alla nerano. My heart skipped for a second once I had my first bite. I didn't know it was possible to fall in love with a pasta. The nerano dish: perfectly al dente spaghetti, creamy provolone del Monaco, sweet fried zucchini, basil. I have tried so many times to recreate this pasta, I have not even come close. To finish they bring out complimentary homemade limoncello. I am angry at myself for not buying a bottle when I was there. Overall, if you are in the area and looking for a special place to celebrate an occasion or even celebrate life definitely check out Da Paolino. You will not be disappointed.

Amanda W.

Yelp
Simply wow! We were lucky to have been able to get a reservation through our hotel on the same day for dinner (albeit early dinner! We got a table right at 7:30pm). Apparently they are booked completely already for the entire summer season, however if you ask your hotel they will likely be able to help! Walking into this restaurant it's literally walking into a dream, a lemon tree dream! Lemons and gigantic ones, the size of Buddhas hand even. The largest I have ever seen and the most delicious I have ever tasted. Not the sour kinds I am used to getting. The meal was fantastic. Had three courses and all spread out between 3 hours. We shared both the appetizer which was a tasting of three dishes (eggplant parm, grilled mozzarella with lemon leaf and fried zucchini flower) I think you can go without this dish. I was most impressed with the eggplant parm. The other two were Ok. You can get each sampler dish as a separate apps. Which we should've done. For primi, we shared a pasta dish with fresh razor clams. Love razor clams, however this dish was without the shells. Very simply cooked with oil and freshly grated lemon zest. Then we had our dishes of Sicilian gamberoni. Wow! My favorite. Can never go wrong with simply grilled gambeonis. The service was also great. However towards the end of our meal the restaurant was completely full. The avg meal time is 9pm! Overall simple fresh seafood dishes. Highly recommend if you are looking for a different experience.

Alyssa M.

Yelp
This place is definitely overhyped. The place is beautiful... the ambiance is about it. The food was not good. It was overpriced and tasted not as good as all the other places I have been. Paid $60 for a shrimp pasta dish that had the smallest shrimps and it was soo fishy tasting. I did not like it at all. It is also infested with mosquitoes everywhere! It made the entire experience so unenjoyable, we just wanted to eat our food and leave right away. My husband and I got bit atleast 10x each... its horrible. Would not recommend.

Caroline T.

Yelp
Our dining experience felt cheesy like this place was original Olive Garden- would definitely skip!

Katie B.

Yelp
Came for dinner on our honeymoon since it's a must stop place in Capri. The ambiance is very cool with all the lemon trees and the service was fantastic and added to the experience. The food was good but not amazing, we had much better food at a number of places but it's cool for the ambiance. We loved the stuffed zucchini flowers and the sea bass in lemon sauce, both of these were fantastic. the lemon pasta was average, just lemon and butter, good but I've had better and I was expecting more from a lemon themed restaurant. My husbands veal Milanese was very tough and dry, I would not recommend here. Sea bass was fantastic but everything else was just average.

Dov L.

Yelp
There's so much hype around this restaurant and I really wanted to go when I saw Magic and Jordan went. There's a lot of mixed reviews lately but I found the restaurant to be exactly what I expected and wanted. We came for the ambiance and it didn't disappoint. It's beautiful sitting under the lemon trees and there's a fun buzz being there. The octopus appetizer was delicious, the lemon pasta was very good, the drinks were great, and the dessert bar was fun but not tasty, would skip that next time. They brought limoncello tasters at the end which was a nice touch. The staff was very friendly and treated us well and took our pictures happily on request. It was definitely a memorable experience.

David E.

Yelp
The hype is real. You have to experience this place at least once when you are on the island. Come for the Instagram shots, stay for the food. Order something with lemon stay away from the red sauce dishes, you're not here for that anyways. Wine by the glass is very expensive, but they have a huge bottle wine list that is very reasonable. Excellent ambiance, and yes, live lemons growing everywhere.

Michael H.

Yelp
This place did not disappoint! The lemon trees everywhere were gorgeous. The food was tasty, Wes especially enjoyed the table side fish. The service was attentive and nice. Definitely a place worth checking out in Capri.

Niki H.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing, the ambiance was definition of Capri and just impeccable, with very attentive and friendly service.

Meaghan Buckley

Yelp
Was excited to dine here but it was overrated. Food was okay but we felt we were not treated the same as other guests. Had a reservation but the host could not find it. Seated us in a corner in a table covered with ants. Service was rushed, food was just okay and then found a hair on my plate. No one told us about dessert, servers were paying attention to other diners but not us (though we expected slow service as a cultural difference). At the end, we saw multiple tables being served limoncello and had read it was complimentary, but did not receive any ourselves. Lastly, other Italian speaking diners had cards to reserve taxis given to them by the restaurant staff, but none of the English speaking guests waiting for a taxi had a reservation or card from the restaurant, displaying a clear bias. Lastly, cost 266 Euro for two plates of spaghetti (no meat or seafood), 3 drinks, and dessert. Very overpriced.

Juli W.

Yelp
This is a 5 star in my book. The atmosphere was amazing with the large lemons hanging above your head. The ravioli was the best I have ever had. They catered to our every need...and we are not rich or famous. They had a narrow vehicle to take our beloved disabled sister to the taxi. The service was above and beyond in my opinion.

Dora H.

Yelp
Delicious worth the hype. I almost skipped on this place cause of the IG hype. But I asked a local his thoughts and he replied it an experience, don't miss out. The ambiance was like a dream. The lemon tree canopy, candles, water Features. They really touch all the senses. They had a wonderful female vocalist play along side a Spanish Guitar, classic Italian songs. The starter was a classic Caprice salad with prosciutto. My Main dish was a pasta and muscles. My husband had the local Sweet flavored shrimps in pasta. Everything was so fresh and made from local Ingredients. I cannot remember what kind of wine we had that night but it was delicious. The wine selection is literally a large novel of a menu lol. They also gave us Free limoncellos at the end of our meal, unfortunately I'm not a fan. But I still enjoyed trying it. But the best part is the beautiful Malorca room that is a dolce buffet. I was in heaven ! The gentleman helping serve the desserts was equally pleased to sever me all his favorites. He was no pun intended a sweetheart. It's worth the hype ,worth the expensive €200 price tag. Yes go take your stupid picture like I did .Enjoy the bliss this experience of a meal will bring you.

Nick S.

Yelp
Rude staff for for the hospitality industry. Tried to make reservation online and in app and it's broken. Tried to call and got a reservation a month in advance. Arrived only to be told no completely full when it opened and many tables open. Would not even let us sit in the bar. Giving it a 1 purely for the ambiance

Garry M.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The staff was attentive, caring and professional. Food was excellent and the setting was beautiful. Definitely a must see when visiting Capri!

lawrence s.

Yelp
Loved the food and ambience. Sitting in the middle of a lemon grove while have a delicious dinner

Zina B.

Yelp
Great experience, special atmosphere at a lovely place! The dishes were fresh and well presented! A must if you're in Capri!

Kristine R.

Yelp
Ok ambience - 10 Food - meh. I won't give it a number... just a meh This is a place you go maybe to browse the dessert bar and have a drink... you can absolutely pass on the food and go on to live a long and fulfilling life. I PROMISE. Save your coins and go eat a 7 euro pizza down the mountain... it'll taste better. Grazie

Matt D.

Yelp
This was by far the best dining experience in Capri. I'm not sure why there are some low Yelp scores because this restaurante is superior to some of the Michelin restaurants we dined at on the island. To eat a meal, any meal, under a giant well manicured lemon grove is like a dream. Each table is situated under its lemon tree. We were sat straight away and it was off to the best meal we had on the island. The sea bass was perfectly done and seasoned but actually it was the best lemon I've ever had sprinkled over the freshly caught bass that made it just right. The pasta here was also the best we had on the island, which is really saying something since there are a ton of well known pasta spots here. They were kind enough to keep the pasta warm while we were away from our table. Never had a waiter be so concerned that the meal be hot he actually brought it back to the kitchen to make sure it was hot when we got back to our seat. The limoncello was also a treat as you would expect here under all the lemon trees. This was simply one of the best dining experiences I've ever had dining under this lemon canopy at Da Paolino!!

Chris S.

Yelp
Great ambiance. This is an "experience" place, and you won't find another like it in Capri. The food was pretty good, but not the best we had on the island. The desert bar was a neat concept, as we got to try small portions of several different deserts. We had the lemon ravioli for our mains, and the sauce is great.

Shane S.

Yelp
Lovely! We visited from the U.S. and this restaurant satisfied the "Capri" itch. The lemon-covered patio sets a pretty incredible mood, the staff was friendly, helpful, spoke enough English to get us by, and made for a wonderful evening. The menu was totally understandable and we did not have trouble ordering. Lastly, the food was excellent and portions were more than enough. I would recommend this restaurant to families or couples traveling to Capri looking for a thoroughly local experience and excellent without going into an ultra-fine dining super expensive meal. We also got a drink at the bar before we were seated and the the cocktails were excellent (if a little expensive). Prices were high big acceptable (€30-€45 entrees).

Disappointment P.

Yelp
Looking for bargains on an island consumed by tourists is difficult and this is no exception. However, you won't deny it's an experience due to the lemon grove trees that blanket the skies as well as your mindset due to being on holiday (Most Likely). The atmosphere, drinks, and potentially the dessert bar (I did not partake) is the attraction. The food is average compared to the mainland. It is a beautiful setting and worth the annoyance of being a tourist trap.

Dani L.

Yelp
Loved this place! The ambience by far was the best part. The food was good. I ordered the beans and they were so tasty and spectacular. The ravioli with lemon and cream sauce was great but a little too much lemon for my taste. The service was okay, a little slow. They also offer buffet style for guests to choose from, which is really nice. The dessert options was by far the best part of the restaurant! They had all types of desserts. Definitely recommend this place to all!

Meadowlark P.

Yelp
It's a pretty place and they know it. Service was mediocre, food was good. Not great. We're not celebrities and we were treated as such. With their history and gave they should be more grateful. Do not recommend.9

Amanda H.

Yelp
Our best dinner in Capri yet! The setting is absolutely beautiful, unique, romantic and amazing. Be sure to wear yellow or lemon themed clothes! Huge lemons hang down high above the tables creating a unique setting. The food was delicious, service was pretty good until the end when they started getting busy. The dessert buffet looked incredible. Amazing wine. Nice clean bathrooms. Just a beautiful place for dinner

Catheriya B.

Yelp
Amazing food and service, they really made you feel special even if you're a nobody like us. We love the atmosphere and they were not at all pretentious. It was by far one of the best meals we had in Italy. I highly recommend getting their antipasti buffet though, my husband and I were on the agreement that it was the best decision we made. The seafood and veggies buffet selections were unbelievable! We will be back for sure when to visit Capri! Make a reservation in advanced.

Alison S.

Yelp
Location is beautiful, I'm thankful they had fruit as an option for desert, wish they had more than just spaghetti for vegans though because being in Italy 5 days and having only spaghetti as an option 5 days I'm a row and always Al dente, is rough honestly. Friendly staff, but food overall was okay

Kate L.

Yelp
This was easily the best restaurant I ate at in Capri! This island is expensive, and Da Paolino was no exception. Entrées started around 30€ and just went up from there. But the tagliatelle limone was everything I'd hoped it'd be and more -- rich creamy pasta with the perfect amount of lemon. And the setting just can't be beat. Lemon trees surround, on the ceiling and on the walls, and there are even lemons on the table. Bonus: they were knowledgeable about gluten free and even brought gluten free bread and crackers. The only slight bummer, besides pricing, was the service. My mom ordered the risotto with clams, sans clams, and we were bummed that they charged the same price without the seafood. It was also impossible to get our check at the end of the meal. We even saw one customer standing up, rather angrily hounding the waiters to bring his check so he could leave. But we left the credit card at the restaurant accidentally, and they delivered it to our hotel that same night and notified us by email. Above and beyond when it counts. If you're visiting Capri, Da Paolino is a must for lunch or dinner!

Dembe N.

Yelp
I would recommend for everyone to try something else. Found this place on Yelp while vacationing in Capri. Went for a dinner and was very disappointed. Seafood bar is great but nothing special. You can order same combination of the dishes at any restaurant and may be even cheaper even though you are in Capri ;) Food was bad, really bad. Wine over priced. Ordered glass of wine and neat Jamesons After about 10 minutes waiter came back and told us no more Jamesons left which was ok, since they didn't have what I wanted I ordered another glass of wine which I received after 10 minutes. That been said; service not too bad but food is.

Colleen B.

Yelp
My absolute favorite meal during my time in Italy. If you find yourself on the island of Capri, GO HERE! It is simply gorgeous, romantic and overall stunning. The entire seating area of the restaurant is situated under lemon trees. So gorgeous and inviting. It was a glorious sunshiny day and the sun was peaking through all of the lemon trees. It was like a movie. Located walking distance from the Marina Grande, we went on a walking adventure to tour this side of the island and we followed the signs to "Ristorante da Paolino" and as soon as we arrived, we knew we made the right decision. We arrived right at noon, when they opened and our server was extremely welcoming from the first hello. The owners dogs were just roaming around and relaxing; we truly felt like we were in someone's home. The ambiance was so raw and delicious. The kitchen was situated in the corner and open aired so you could see everything going on. The plating and bars were also open aired along the perimeter. The lemon theme was kept with the colors along the walls and even to the plates. The touch of having baskets of fresh lemons scattered around was so nice. I went with some red wine, server's choice and it was lovely. For a starter, we went with "Bomb Paolino's style"Bomb Paolino's style"- Home-made pasta filled with ham and mozzarella. We mentioned we were splitting it and they brought it out cut in half on two plates. How nice! It was delicious. I could have eaten 5 more. So fresh. The tomato tasted like it was freshly picked from their backyard; which I wouldn't doubt. For my entree, I knew I had to go for pasta, since I was in Italy, and with lemons, because, hello! I was sitting under a lemon tree. I went for the "Ravioli Capresi " in lemon sauce and it melted in my mouth. Each bite was as flavorful as the one before and I savored each one. The pasta was perfection and the lemon balanced with the cheese was a fabulous combo. Complimentary ice cold lemoncello at the end was an extremely lovely and refreshing touch. I can not say enough good things about this experience. It was everything I ever could have imagined a lunch in Italy to be.

Stef T.

Yelp
This restaurant is so beautiful, eating under the lemon trees was so romantic. The food was amazing, we started with the caprese salad. My girlfriend ordered the sciattala mare( seafood pasta) what a plate, there difinatly not shy with the seafood. I ordered a bowl of mussels and substitute the pasta for more muscles with white wine sauce. They did an outstanding job with the service everyone came and asked if we are okay. We were toooo full to get dessert but there was an assortment of options to chose from. When we come back to Capri, we will definitely be come here again!

Kal L.

Yelp
Visiting Da Paolino just once will suffice. The restaurant is a famed institution on the island and family owned for generations. We came in June 2019 and upon arrival, you walk down an enchanted canopy covered lemon grove towards the main dining area. You sit and are served delicious food and wine under beautiful fragrant lemon trees. The owner serenaded our table with a classical song and guitar in hand as we were with a special guest which made our dinner very special. The standout dish was the fresh fish of the day. The cost is on the pricier side but this is Capri, it is expected.

Kim S.

Yelp
I couldn't believe I didn't review this restaurant sooner. It has been a little over a year, but I remember it was amazing and I will do my best to capture the evening... At the lower end of the island, take a taxi to and from here, if you'd rather not walk the hills. Once you enter this lovely restaurant you are surrounded by lemon trees and beautiful lighting that create the perfect ambiance. We were seated beneath the trees and ordered wine and caprese salad (HELLO, we're IN CAPRI!!) We then followed with two pasta dishes. I had the pasta di mare & hubs had the lemon ravioli. LEMON wins! I loved the fresh fish and it was prepared perfectly but there was just something about that lemon ravioli that was amazing. I don't recall if we ordered a secondo (meat dish) or a dessert. I remember walking in the room with the desserts but maybe we just had a shot of lemoncello to end the meal. Remember, Capri = Caprese salad (tomato & mozzarella), lemons, fresh fish! Enjoy! Buon Appetito!

Cris V.

Yelp
My favorite in Italy. The appetizer and dessert bars were ridiculous. The fresh cut peppercini was so fantastic to watch...lots of drama in the service to keep the entertainment flowing which just lifts the food to greater heights.

Jasmine W.

Yelp
Been to Capri many times and somehow missed this awesome experience! We loved dining under the lemon trees. There are even huge lemons holding candles on each table. Really breathtaking! That said, I did sit and wonder if any of those gigantic lemons ever dropped on a guests head?? I loved the starter buffet. It's plenty for dinner. Great veggies, fish and meatballs beautifully presented. I ordered spaghetti with cherry tomatoes. The tomatoes were mushed up ( sauce like) not red and somewhat recognize able . I had specifically requested cherry tomatoes, not sauce. Didn't like that ..thus the 4 stars . Hubby liked his rib eye steak. We arrived during a storm. No leaks anywhere! A must visit as it's truly unique!

Yelp
After seeing this restaurant on Conde Nast Traveller, I made reservations for our visit to Capri. It is not conveniently located near "tourist attractions" but the trip is well worth it. The BF & I were mesmerized by the ambiance - perfectly manicured lemon groves giving it a fairytale setting for a romantic dinner. The service matched the ambiance and the food was just delectable. We ordered the Gnocchi, Lemon Chicken, and Mixed Seafood dish. The gnocchi was mouthwatering - the best gnocchi we ever had and we had some tasty gnocchi throughout this trip. The BF cannot stop talking about the Gnocchi still - hoping to go back when we return to Capri. The Lemon Chicken and Mixed Seafood were good but if I had to choose again I would probably stick to the pasta dishes because it really gives you the true taste of Italy. As far as pricing, I think it is reasonable given that you are truly paying for an unforgettable experience topped with great food! PS the restaurant arranges for taxi pick up - we really loved our swanky, red, open-top taxi - great island experience!!!!

Food was the best we had on the Amalfi Coast. There was something novel about sitting under a grove of lemon trees. Knocked off a star for the service. Not as bad as what we have seen on the rest of the Amalfi Coast but wouldn't call it particularly warm The fried pizza appetizer was good but nothing to write home about. However the pastas (seafood and tomato pastas) are probably some of the best I have ever had. The buffet dessert menu must not be missed. EVERYTHING in the buffet is delicious including the fresh fruit. Not cheap though!

Yelp
Food and ambiance was amazing!! Service left something to be desired but that seems to be the trend everywhere in Capri

Yelp
Take a photo and LEAVE. Or even better, see the photos on online and don't go all the way here. The food is inedible, terrible, tasteless and so overpriced for the island (which is saying a lot!). It's pretty yes, but only when the sun is shining. Everything we ate and our friends ate was horrible. Everyone we met who went here on our trip also hated it and wish they didn't waste a dinner here!

Yelp
Stellar ambiance and setting. Very large and clean bathrooms. I'm definitely on a pasta kick and there were 4 different ones my wife and I wanted to try and they happily accommodated smaller portions so that we could try them all. The dessert room is something to behold and when we decided we didn't want the buffet access, they let us chose just one.

Yelp
Best restaurant / dining experience i've ever had in my life. Food was killer, fresh mozzarella and pasta was ridiculous. The setting can't be recreated, all tables are under real lemon trees. I'm from Manhattan and travel a lot, I'll enjoy other restaurants but this will be the best restaurant i'll ever eat at hands down. One tip, be sure to coordinate your taxi back to your hotel well. It's not in a walking friendly area.

Yelp
Terrible food. We were really looking forward to the charm of this place and a romantic dinner but it feels like an outdoor picnic ground or cafeteria, terrible service and even worse food. I ended up eating the bread for dinner €100+ later. Gnocchi was either way under cooked or over - mushy mess and the chicken was dry as a bone. Just very disappointing. Go somewhere else - tourist trap.
