Google
10/10 experience ! We stumbled upon this restaurant by complete accident! After being turned away from another restaurant (full), I remember walking by this trattoria and thinking it looked local/authentic. We decided to come here and was very pleasantly surprised. Domenico, the owner, was very kind and his passion for food was very clear. He took his time explaining the menu, and provided his recommendations that were unique to Florence. The staff, Jessica and Alexandra were great as well! Super kind and friendly. We ordered - the Crostini Toscani with chicken liver and pate - Carpaccio crudi (raw beef carpaccio with rucola salad and parmasean flakes) - Fresh tuscan pasta with garlic, olive oil and chili, with burata cream with special toasted crumbs - Ganzi's fresh pasta with beef meat sauce, porcini mushrooms, and parmasean flakes - Sliced grilled steak of beef with roasted potatoes - Dessert: Tiramisu and Chocolate flan with dark chocolate sauce. Desserts are all made in house!! Also- a major plus is the ability to reserve a table online. Not something you see often in Florence. Would 100% come back!!

Google
Wonderful restaurant! Food, wine, and service were fantastic. We enjoyed it so much that we visited 3 times while staying in Florence. The staff was so friendly. Definitely a highlight of our trip. If you visit Florence, Da Que' Ganzi Trattoria Osteria should not be missed!

Google
Amazing! Best tiramisu! It was so tasty, full of locals, amazing food, truly hidden gem, the atmosphere is so welcoming, beautiful place and so gentle staff, the waitress was so attentive and the owner is so friendly! Me and my husband had an amazing meal!

Google
Our last meal in Florence was here and it did not disappoint. Quality was topnotch and the service was excellent. It’s just next door to the Michelangelo house/museum, we were a bit early for lunch, around 11:30 am and we were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation. Place quickly got full by lunch so better have a reservation if you plan to go just to be sure.

Google
We had T-bone Florence steak here, this is simply the best steak I’ve ever had!!! The flavor is so rich, I highly recommend roasted potatoes as side as well, the potato is roasted so well it’s such a great combo with the steak! We love the wine as well, had 2 bottles 😜 Staff is very friendly, especially the owner is very kind, thank you so much for a great experience!!!

Google
My first visit of this restaurant was in 2017 and I remembered the beef was the best I had ever had. Literally, come back after 8 years and it is still amazing. We can definitely feel the staff serves from their heart and professional. He gave us the recommendation of the food which is as good as we expected. I will definitely come back when I visit Florence again.

Google
What a nice experience! We were becoming a bit peckish after walking for hours around Firenze and wanted to find a nice restaurant outside more touristy area. When we visited this trattoria there was some construction work being done to the next building, so we almost skipped because it was a bit hard to access it with our toddler’s stroller. We arrived right at the opening time and had no reservation. Luckily there was a table reserved for later so a friendly waiter seated us and explained what daily specials were. We ordered three dishes and all were delicious, one of best meals we had while in Firenze. The restaurant itself in much bigger than it looks from the outside. Staff is very friendly and genuine, food and wine selection is great. Prices are very reasonable. All in all a great experience, I would highly recommend this trattoria.

Google
What an absolutely delightful place. I went for dinner and chose specifically more florentine dishes. And it didn't disappoint. If you're looking to try authentic dishes (and willing to try unusual parts like Lampredotto (tripe)) a strong recommendations.

Yelp
Service: 5 stars Dinner: 3:5 stars Dessert: 4.5 stars I had the ravioli stuffed with sea bass in cream sauce. It was very pretty, and the sauce very nice, but the filling somewhat dry. Calamari were perfect, however. Crostini pomodoro good, but not great. Salami and prosciutto very good. Desserts very good.

Yelp
This was the best meal we had while in Florence. Make a reservation if possible. The waiter was incredibly helpful in recommending wines to compliment our food order. We loved the Tortelli "Mugellani," the "Lune piene," and the Baccalà alla livornese. We finished with the tiramisu, which was the best we tasted over the whole trip!

Yelp
Happiness in the form of a Trattoria! This is (a little) off the beaten path - not much, just enough off to one side that you normally wouldn't stumble upon it if you weren't heading to the Buonarotti Museum (go. worth it. go. and be sure to go upstairs - that's where all the good stuff is). If you missed it, it would be a shame, 'cos this is good, honest tuscan fare - served in a convivial atmosphere. You'll find plenty of locals, and equally as many non-locals - which is OK, sharing is caring after all! The interesting part of the menu is that there is about as much seafood as there is non, and the seafood is, without exception, excellent. Add in an excellent wine list, even more excellent house wines (just get half a litre of the house-wine - red/white/frizzante - it'll go perfectly with whatever you're having) FWIW, we liked the place so much, we went back a second time for our last dinner here - not wanting to leave Firenze on a down note. And yes, we weren't disappointed

Yelp
Good job mom! Mom found this place while i was getting a workout in, and it was super close to our AirBNB. Food was very good. I had the grilled octopus as my main and my mom had a linguine with seafood. We also ordered the sauteed chard and chick pea contorni. Both were very tasty, and still delicious as leftovers the next day. We also got the fried polenta with porcini, which was good, but not the best dish of the day. Our waiter also recommended an orange wine, which went very well with our meal. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
This is a delicious Florentine restaurant where we had one of the finest meals we have ever eaten. The staff at was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We had an appetizer, 1l of the house wine, the Florentine steak which was simply amazing, and enjoyed the meal in a charming and inviting romantic ambience. 5+ stars, a great place to have a memorable evening and delicious meal!

Yelp
Found this restaurant on Yelp and so happy we did, they could not have been nicer. The food and service was excellent, would definitely recommend a visit if you are in Florence.

Yelp
First off the customer service experience when we walked in the door was AMAZING, we did make a reservation which was super easy to do on their website. We are new to wine and asked the waiter what he recommended. He based it off our food choices and our experiences with wine, the wine... best we've had. Started with the bruscheta, 10/10 for antipasto. For the main course I had the Tagliatelealragùbiancodimanzoetartufo , amazing. Overall couldn't have been a better experience, definitely recommend.

Yelp
Best meal and service we had a Florence. They had our table of 14 waiting for us when we got there. Their seafood pasta and Florentine steaks are must. You will leave satisfied.

Yelp
Nice steak. And appetizer. The boss will help you choose wine for your dish. I order a risorto but it a little bit light to me. After add some cheese, its nice. But still nice compare to other restaurant. The steak is nice with the red wine. Dessert is definitely fantastic. Pistachio flavor cream cake. The stuff are friendly and patient explained what you want to know

Yelp
My husband and I recently visited Florence for the first time, and him being an Italian from Italy, whose mother just so happens to be like the best cook on the planet, and me being a NYC native whose exposed to the best of everything, including a passion for cooking myself, puts us in a position of higher standards for Italian food. This place blew our minds!!! We were literally in awe as we were eating, so phenomenal. I ate until I literally crossed that line of passing out while I was eating because my body was so full of content and bliss. The service was perfection, the food was the best I think I have ever had (outside my Italian mother in law's glorious kitchen) and we will certainly make this our first stop when we get back to Florence!

Aly R.

Yelp
Food is amazing!!! The owner helps you pair a wine to your pallet. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is great. The Tomato, basil and bread soup is a MUST!! It is delicious especially when put on bread. Def recommend coming here while you are visiting the area!

Liusbel R.

Yelp
What a Great place this is, a local recommended it and am glad I listened. The Food is out of this world, true traditional Italian from Florence. Loved it!

Mildcat J.

Yelp
Excelled at every turn, from the wine assistance through pistachio affogato. Our food ranged from "basic" garlic pasta (anything but basic, flavor-wise), to mussels and scallops, terrific shrimp, and chicken with artichokes. All were fresh and well-prepared. With more time in this beautiful city, we would return. I do believe reservations are recommended.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience at this quaint restaurant. A great bottle of vino rosso, a delightful pasta dish, and a steak from the daily specials featuring porcini mushrooms. Service was excellent and we would definitely go back.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Florence! I have been there quite a few times since moving here. Great service, food and wine. I've had the bistecca fiorentina, papà al pomodoro, gnudi, and the pici pasta and they were all fabulous! I always have Domenico who is a great waiter. Very local place, great for everybody.

Yelp
We were thrilled to discover this charming restaurant close to Sta Croce Church. The menu is extensive, the prices reasonable and the service excellent. Everything was beautifully prepared and delicious. Highly recommend and will surely make this a regular stop on our trips to Florence. Owner is personable and an AMAZING wine list. He is knowledgeable and charming. Enjoy

Yelp
Historic Florence style , beautiful ceilings of brick architecture, the food is exemplary Tuscan style and sourced locally. Great wine list and the owner Domenico knows his wines.

Yelp
Excellent small trattoria. Didn't feel rushed or overcrowded, intimate ambience. The food was incredible and very reasonably priced. 3 glasses of wine, 2 primi pasta dishes, a side, and a slice of cheesecake was less than €50. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked and the sauce was inventive and flavorful. The risotto was intense and delicious. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend reservations, but you might get lucky on a slow night. Will return if we are ever back in Florence!

Yelp
A recommendation from the hotel, and I really wished we passed on it. Very plain and flavorless menu, 45min+ wait after ordering for entrees to arrive. Distracted bartenders worried more about being on their cell and smoking than serving. Also throw on the very high prices and this was a disaster.

Elvio C.

Yelp
Great experience!! Great food!! I would advise this place to every one who wants to try tuscan food. It's very affordable with wonderful service and lovely vibe. It's a must

Yelp
At first glance, this restaurant will charm you with its decorative and inviting entrance from the street. But the real treat is the warmth you will receive from its young owner. As it turns out, we guessed correctly and Da Que Ganzi was once Osteria De Boia ten years earlier, where I had celebrated my 21st birthday. Ten years later and under different ownership, this restaurant is still a local gem near Santa Croce. Great wine list.

Yelp
A small gate... Not easy to find. We enjoyed the seafood pot and the pasta with lobster though the prawns and lobster are not quite fresh! A great deal here

Deborah M.

Yelp
One of the best steaks I've had anywhere in the world. I've been blessed to have some of the finest steaks in the US, Chile, Brazil and around other parts of Europe. My husband and I were on a mission to find a traditional Florentine style steak. This place did not disappoint. The seafood we tried was phenomenal and the steak, wow...the steak. You have to try it. If you are looking for tourist fare, this is not for you. We were the only tourists in the place, which is exactly the type of place we seek out on vacation. If you want to try the cuisine in the true Tuscan style, give this place a try.

Yelp
I started with the ravioli filled with branzino which were very good, but not excellent. I proceeded with their oven-baked whole branzino served with a medley of vegetables. This dish was fresh and the branzino was cooked to perfection. Their house wine was horrific (white) and their limoncello was probably Limoncé (a syruppy mess that would make someone from Sorrentino cringe). Overall, it was a fairly good experience, but not memorable. I would, however, give it another chance.
