A Temple to Neptune if there ever was one. Set on the sea just north of Polignano a Mare, this fancy fish restaurant serves some of the best pesce crudo in the Provincia di Bari. The spaghetti con le cozze are spectacular. At the end of the meal, the server comes to your table and cleanses your palate with this weird grappa spray, totally bizarre but strangely refreshing. Maybe more alcohol should come in aerosol form?

You have been dreaming of a super fish restaurant where service is by super-skilled waiters, you would fing nice ambience and sea food on point? Then you would find here the place in heaven. Only reality: sea food and high-quality has its price, but fair enough. Very convenient: terrace with sea view and own parking place just 40 meters down the road.

The best seafood restaurant in Pulia. It a starts with excellent raw seafood. The pasta dishes are delicious and original. The wine recommendations were perfect! The sea view from the restaurant is amazing and the breeze is so good that you don’t need air conditioning. Highly recommended!!

So delicious and fresh seafood. Price is reasonable and not too expensive. Kind and helpful staffs. Highly recommended.

Went for the tasting menu - good all round. Specialty is the raw seafood which was good, but not something I’m used to regularly. The freshness was clear! Found the hot dishes a little mundane - the pasta primi was a little underwhelming and the main course fish was well cooked, but the potato slices it was topped with were not cooked through and still crunchy. Enjoyed it, and glad I went but wouldn’t rush back.

As good a fine dining experience as you’ll find in Polignano. Excellent service and the food is exceptional. We didn’t have time for the full tasting menu so we opted for a number of dishes that we shared as a table, the highlight being the black orecchiette. In addition, the wine list is very good. A definite highlight. As usual, skip the dessert and opt for the legendary polignano gelato.

Excellent food, good wine and sharp waiters. We had tartar, a selection of carpaccios and unbelievable pasta. Everything was great - very nice surprise!

Supposed to be the best restaurant in the region. Maybe it was before but not when we visited. We were very disappointed and were way overcharged at 350 euros for 2 persons. The view is nice but you are under a canopy and seated on old cheap smaller metal chairs that are very uncomfortable. The chairs have handmade seat cushions that look like someone’s mom made them. Not what would call fine dining. There are much better values elsewhere in Polignano like La Locanda Porta Picc (family run and 1/3 the cost). When you have a great team or corporation or restaurant, you have to continue to invest and make enhancements to stay on top. I believe Da Tuccino has not done this and is resting on its laurels and has slipped. The waiters were younger and acted like know it alls and were not as polished as you would expect for such as an establishment. The tasting menu needs to be re-invented. It was way over-priced, quantity over quality as there were many repetitive items that lacked tastiness and flare. The cuttlefish was horrid. The waiter tried to save it with olive oil and cracked pepper but it did not help much. The fish main was good once you could find it as it was smothered with a bunch of diced raw vegetables - strange. The only highlights were the seafood risotto, wine and desserts. About 100 euros of good food for 350 euros paid. Again, many it was best in the area once but not anymore. I recommend you search out better options in Polignano.

Yelp
My wife orders spaghetti with clams any time she sees it on a menu, and she said this was maybe her favorite of all time. The raw shellfish tasting was amazing but we probably should've done one instead of two.

Yelp
If you cannot enjoy a relaxing meal at Da Tuccino, then you (a) can't relax, (b) don't know good food, (c) don't like seafood (d) all of the above. Perfect setting, amazing seafood and pastas, wonderful service and you're in Italy. Not cheap, but given how good it is Da Tuccino is worth every Euro. Mangia!!

Yelp
We had dinner here for 8 people, and in spite of having restless kiddos, the waitstaff was accommodating and kind. All the dishes we ordered were fantastic, from my langustine and uni ragu on paccheri pasta to squid ink pasta for others, everything was well done. The view from our table of the Adriatic Sea topped this experience off as a must-see for travelers and locals alike wandering through Puglia.

Yelp
We had a fabulous meal! The view is gorgeous, parking is easy, and the service great. However, the draw is really the seafood. Between six of us we tried 10 different dishes, and each was expertly prepared, nuanced in flavor and beautifully presented. My personal favorite was the orecchiette with shrimp and shredded squash blossoms garnishing the top. It's worth the splurge.

Yelp
A truly hidden gem. Difficult for the average tourist to find. This place is one of the top 10 Resturant's in Europe. And after having a meal here I can see why. The absolute best sea food I have ever had in my life. You do need a reservation months in advance so I recommend doing so. It's not easy to find but well worth the effort
