Best value and location in Namibia and with plenty of wildlife. Extremely comfortable bungalows with very well appointed facilities. Plates, cutlery, microwave, fridge etc. Breakfast included and very good restaurant with room service. Couldn't fault it. Stayed there twice

Because this place is within a game drive, you are required to pay additional park fees ($100 for person, $50 for car) for each night you stay. The rooms are dated (rust in the sink, holes in the towels, shower head that sprays everywhere). The food is NOT good and not worth paying for. Overall, I would not stay here again and regret not booking accommodation in town (Windhoek Gardens Boutique had very nice food and rooms and I would stay there again).

We had thé best weekend at Daan Viljoen. The rooms were excellent, the food was amazing and the staff were só friendly and willing to help. We had the best weekend there with our friends and family. We will recommend the venue 10000% to other people!!!

Great site. Friendly staff. Great private ablutions and camping pitches. Lovely views. |Had a visit from a friendly ostrich and a cheeky Baboon. |Lots of animals around the site. If you need to stay near Windhoek, this is the place!|Totally recommended.|

I would like to take this opportunity to send my thanks to the staff at Daan Viljoen Lodge, for taking such great care of our guests and guide. It was greatly appreciated and the clients were delighted with the fine service.||Our clients stayed at the lodge on Monday, 5th August 2024. On this day, their vehicle had a breakdown in Otjiwarongo which delayed their journey, to the lodge, considerably and they only arrived at the lodge around 20h00 and the gates usually close around 18h00.||The staff had already been in contact with the Cape Town tour operator and were prepared for the clients late arrival.||The group was well received and fed a delicious meal (their words) and could retire happily to the accommodations which the clients said were beautiful and very comfortable.||Such amazing service should always be recognised, so many, many heartfelt thanks to the team at Daan Viljoen Lodge! ||

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the weekend. Good food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. We would definitely recommend it to others.

The room were great, and the staff really catered for all the extra-ordinary things we requested, changing plans at the last minute. It was a great trip.
