Daata George's Street

We had dinner here last night, and it was a great experience overall. As always, the food was very good and full of flavor. The portion sizes were okay, but the taste made up for it. The ambience was warm and pleasant, which made the evening even more enjoyable.

Perfect place for date night. Beautiful ambiance and great food! We ordered tandoori prawns, chicken tikka, garlic chilli chicken, Chicken briyani , saag lamb, pistachio milk cake and rose kulfi. Pistachio milk cake was the show stopper. Saag lamb was delicious as well. Absolutely love their Chilli cheese Naan. Overall excellent place.

We dined at Daata George’s street last night is covered and had a great experience. The food was absolutely awesome fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. The service was very good overall, and the staff were polite and attentive. I was happy with everything and really enjoyed time there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back again.

From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, the service was amazing, and the food was honestly 10/10. The staff were so patient, answered all our questions, and really looked after us all evening. After our meal they even helped us get a spot near the bar which was such a nice touch. A big thank you to our servers Shaq and Ally, who were both fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a wonderful dinner here last night. The food was wonderful (the house Dhaal and Aloo Bhangan in particular!) but every dish was delicious, presented beautifully and delightfully authentic. Plenty of side dishes to choose from and a range of Naan breads to pick. I really enjoyed the option to have a lot of the vegan/vegetarian dishes on the side allowing us to try more. A nice selection of non alcoholic cocktails too. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Staff were great and the food as well. I found that almost everything on the dinner menu is quite spicy. There’s nothing that doesn’t have chilli in it…if you love spicy food then this is perfect. And perhaps that is how Pakistani cuisine is meant to be. My non spicy favourites were: mango lassi, naan bread, all the desserts looked and tasted fantastic. I wish there were options without any chilli. Atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely and the decor looked beautiful.

Amazing food! We loved Daata so much on our trip to Dublin that we came back for seconds. Our favorite dish (unfortunately not pictured, photos are from our second visit) surprisingly was the Daata daal which is cooked over 48 hours and it was SO velvety. We actually ordered this as a half portion to enjoy as an appetizer but wish we’d ordered the full because it was so good! While the daal was our favorite, all of the other dishes were so delicious as well! Also the rice pilau is so reminiscent of my college roommate’s mom’s recipe who is also from Pakistan. Absolutely delicious food and the staff is wonderful!

It was an amazing experience at Daata Restaurant being a really good option for those looking for a fine dining experience in the heart of the city. Service is really good and professional and I'd like to appreciate Aanchal for her amazing service and humble gestures. Highly recommended for Indian cuisines.
