DABOV Specialty Coffee Sofia 1

Was my first time at this shop but definitely not my last! Great coffee! The smell, taste, amazing! At this location you can get also a great tea! The customer service is a little bit slow, but it is personal:)))

They are friendly and hospitality is great. Highly recommended for coffee lovers. We ate cookie with coffee latte. The latte art was perfect!! The taste, flavor, everything was perfect👍

This place has such a great selection of some really nice coffee! The best selection of coffee I’ve so far found in Europe. They even have Geisha! And its superb! I had an AeroPress for the first time there, it was good, but the Geisha in the V60, now that’s an amazing experience! The owners are so kind too. When we went they were doing a charity event to raise money for some local kids who are in need of some surgery in Germany. Stop by and have delicious coffee prepared by kind and knowledgeable baristas and take part with them in spreading the love, of coffee and their neighbors. I wish you guys much success!

Coffee is thumbs up excellent. I have to give it to them. I tried the Brazil samambaia and the chocolatey taste/smell was great. The profile was probably the best I had in Europe. They also have a good background information of all their products, including taste profiles and origins. However I give it 4 stars because I prefer the service of the other cafes nearby namely Urban Specialty Coffee. The service in Dabov seems less responsive. On the other hand, the owner at Urban Specialty is much more generous in sharing his knowledge. I stress though this is my experience and opinion so it may not apply to locals visiting.

Amazing coffee experience in Sofia! It seems the owner is very passionate and travels around the world to find the most amazing flavours! Staff is very kind, polite and have a very good coffee knowledge. Pavlova cake that you may taste here is out of this world! This is also a place for the tea lovers. Magnificent! If I'll ever return to Sofia, Dabov is one of the main reasons!

DABOV Specialty Coffee is in fact ‘special’! From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by the most positive, professional and helpful staff - which we were last Saturday 16/10/21. They KNOW coffee here!! A young women greeted us and showed us to a nice and very comfortable seating area. She took our order, an oat milk latte for me and a hot mint tea for my husband. Both drinks were prepared with expertise by Petko, an amazing and very friendly young man. Petko visited with us and made us feel like we were regular customers instead of strangers stopping in for our first time. The two young women that were also working were so nice and fun to talk with. DABOV also offers coffee beans to go, whole or ground to your request. And other coffee making supplies are sold in their retail area. Prices are extremely reasonable. Coffee here is chosen and roasted with perfection by DABOV owner. We learned about DABOV from the Madrid Spain location owned and operated by Rumen. I’m so glad Rumen also told us to stop into the main location here in Sofia. It’s a great family run business! We will be passing back through Sofia in a couple weeks and we look forward to stopping in once again. I highly recommend you stop in too!!

While stated as “specialty " coffee shop, Dabov is for everyone. A wide selection of high-quality coffees, expertly prepared, in cosy surroundings, one really can enjoy a taste education in coffee.

We stayed in Sofia for over a month and Dabov is one of our favourite coffee places. 🤩 Delicious coffee, very friendly staff. Nikoleta, we miss you already. 💛
