Fantastic EVERYTHING! Went for the classic panettone for Christmas time for my family and was mesmerized by all the sweets offered. Everything is fresh and beautiful! We took a few of the small custom panettones to go and a big one of the pre-made. It all was delicious and when I’m in Toronto again, I sure will stop by for more (and also some coffee, which I didn’t have time to grab that day. Also, the Hispanic girl who helped us was great! Very sweet, nice, explained thoroughly our questions on some of the items, and overall EXCELLENT service (: Thanks a lot, see ya next time!!

I paid $35 for your Traditional ´The Original’ Panettone only to be very disappointed. I know that you’ve changed the recipe since you came to Canada as the first ones (especially the ones that were for sale at Vaughan Mills last year) were far superior than the ones you are now selling. Lesson learned. I won’t buy your panettone again and I’ll pass along my experience to others.

I bought a panettone at the Distillery District and the staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I only had it today and… it was absolutely spectacular! Soft, fragrant, and truly high quality. The tasting instructions they gave me were also extremely helpful — I followed them step by step and they made the experience even better. Thank you so much for those tips, I didn’t know them before and they really made a difference. From today, this is my go-to store. Happy New Year! 🎉

Great product, but the service today was disappointing. Each time I’ve visited the store, I’ve ordered a plain cornetto filled with pistacchio cream, but the cashier refused to sell one to me today and claimed they never fill the cornetto, something every other cashier has done many times in the past year. Her attitude made the interaction even more unpleasant. I love the freshness of their cornetti, but after this interaction, I won’t be returning.

I recently visited DaCastro for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. The food was delightful, with dishes that felt thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. Their breakfast options struck a perfect balance between classic comfort and creative twists—I especially enjoyed their take on traditional morning staples. The drink menu complemented the meal beautifully, with freshly brewed coffee and hot chocolate that set the tone for a great start to the day. The ambiance in the morning was cozy and welcoming, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a slow breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding a nice personal touch to the experience. If I had one small suggestion, it might be to expand the portion sizes just slightly for heartier appetites. Overall, DaCastro is a fantastic choice for a breakfast outing, and I’d love to return to try more of their morning offerings.

Average. The panettone is weirdly sour like fake lemon so the pistachio cream and lemon don’t go along together. They need to have an option for a plain one(less traditional) for stuffed ones. It was only stuffed 1/2 the way and its $5.5 before tax so on the pricy side. The staff is friendly and clean and well lit up. They have a Kiosk which is good. If you’re only looking for baked goods rather walk 2min down the lane and head to Daily Ritual.

For those who love sweets, especially those who love to eat fluffy and tasty panettone all year round, you definitely need to visit this place. The establishment is small, but with a cozy vibe, where you can enjoy your coffee and panettone in peace. The place has the option of placing your order directly with the waiters or through the electronic service (which helps a lot when there are a lot of people, or the waiters are busy with other things). In addition to the menu, there is also a store area, where you can buy products as gifts. The dining room has plenty of space, which can accommodate a wheelchair, but the counters are very high, which makes it difficult for wheelchair users or customers with limited mobility to eat comfortably. The prices are good, and the menu has a great variety (please try the pistachio cream, it's perfect). The service is good, but the last few times I was there, the staff was training employees, and they ended up getting a little confused with the order, but just be patient. They don't have their own parking lot, but in the area you can park in local parking lots, as well as paid parking lots, but they are next to the subway and streetcars.

Visited spontaneously. The staff was friendly, the girl offered free panettone samples. It was delicious (I'm European and grew up eating the best Italian panettones so I have high standards). I got the 750gr big panettone (chocolate & pear 🍐) and it's absolutely amazing... Natural sourdough 100% pure and not too much sugar in the ingredients. So soft and tasty! I didn't try anything else in the store, so I can't tell more. 4 stars for service as the staff didn't even suggest they have small panettones with different flavors at the beginning. 1kg panettone box is worth $60.
