Dachsbau by Caliskan

The food was very good, but the service was unfortunately very slow. We had to wait a long time at our table just to receive the menu, and the food took quite a while to arrive as well. We shared the spaghetti with Grana Padano, the gnocchi, and the Feldsalat, all of which were delicious. For dessert, the lava cake was excellent, but the pistachio ice cream was not to my taste, as I could taste the extract.

We had a nice evening at Dachsbau Fulda. The starters were very good, the steak was excellent, and the wine was also great! Unfortunately, the sea bass was disappointing — too dry, and the spinach was overcooked and quite bitter. When we arrived around 5:30 pm, the restaurant was almost empty, yet we were seated right at the entrance where it was quite drafty (we were a group of three). We were told that all larger tables were reserved, but after asking twice, we finally got another table. Interestingly, our first table remained empty until we left. That could definitely be handled better. Also, despite giving honest feedback about the sea bass twice, there was no apology or gesture of goodwill. Offering a coffee or a small drink would have been a nice touch. Still, the overall experience was pleasant, and we’ll definitely give them a second chance.

Great service and amazing food, it is must in Fulda! We had the spaghetti and the raviolis, Mousse for dessert! You won’t regret it! PS: fries in truffle oil, don’t miss it!

A cute place in the old town of Folda, got there by accident and had an amazing time, really good food, they have some origin German dishes and amazing service (the chairs are also extremely comfy which is a bonus) we had the beef roll, the spring chicken and the raspberry tart, loved every second. Thank you!

I had the fresh salmon with teriyaki sauce and celery purée and yummy!! 😋The overall service was amazing, the menu had options also for vegetarians, the restaurant’s interior has a historical rich background and the food itself is not only esthetically pleasing but also fresh and delicious! I have been informed how the fish has been prepared all the way from the cook and well done! Overall great experience and perfect ending to my Germany and Fulda trip

All around great place. The food is nothing spectacular, but it’s great compared to the price. Classic cuisine with great produce. It got the truffle pasta, which although it was a starter they just made it a main course. The pasta was great and you could taste that it was fresh. The truffle was brined and not fresh, but it’s was still good. Overall great place but nothing special.

Amazing food with a great selection of wines... and wonderful staff who are very attentive and professional. The chef does a wonderful job with the many varieties of meals on offer. And a wonderful atmosphere at the restaurant.

Perfect dinner and service. A very nice place that I give the very best recommendation. Food was totally good and very nice people to serve you.
