Great vegetarian platter bursting with various flavors that all pair well with each other. You could eat the same platter 10 times and choose different orders and combinations of food and come out of it happy and full. Also, the falafel is fried to perfection and has a distinct taste of coriander seeds, which is great for my palate.

Google
Food is very nice - especially the Dada platter which contains a little bit of everything. Friendly staff, fast service, no pressure to leave. Only minor point that may put some people off is their choice of music (electro with quite a beat).

Google
Wow now i tasted their Shawarma! Handmade and sehr lecker !! Also This is by far the best falafel I had in Berlin even though I often eat this in Berlin. But this place was unexpectedly so good, clean , super fresh, no smell of oil and the restaurant is very cosy and well presented. Quite a surprise to find such a place in Mitte!! Bravo!

We were sweating in 30 degrees and the sun was baking on our fur. And as much as I like the kebab, there is no room in my stomach for meat in this heat. When I took the first bite of this sandwich with my shaky teeth, I immediately knew that it was a good decision and definitely not a mistake. Fresh ingredients and a little cheese as a meat substitute. Some part of the food should have lived in some form... the whole thing was prepared with joy, all good, thank you!

Google
Filled to the brim with vegetables, but lucky I like my greens 😂 Beef steak cut used, and falafel is very tasty when freshly fried. Flavourful food overall.

Google
For 5€, not worth it. Falafel itself tastes good, but that was it. The tomato slice was 1/3 of a huge tomato, the carrot raw and the veg fridge temperature. The bread didn’t taste fresh and for 2 thin slices of aubergine you pay 0.50€ on top. Much better and cheaper options around. Go to Baba next door.

Google
Best Falafel and Shawarma Place in town. Good food, quick service, nice staff, groovy music, hip atmosphere, and great crowd. We always eat here at least once a week! Food is really good with ample serving. The baklava, falafel, shawarma, fresh mint tea and the couscous salad are my favourites. Everything is just good quality and you can tell that everything was made fresh and they don‘t skimp on the ingredients. Meat is nice packed with flavour, juicy and tender and not dry. Falafel is also good, very hearty. The humus is also good.

Google
Dada Falafal is a turkish restaurant and take away close to Oranienburger Tor. They are known to serve a very good falafal when they are having a good day. They do have tableservice however we had to wait for quite a while and the couple next to us who had already ordered was asked if they would like to order. The waiter seemed to be quite confused nor did he speak english which must be a requirement in a turistarea. I had the DaDa plate and it was very tasty. At 10 euro for the plate it is the most expensive falafal I have had in Berlin so far. I am not sure if it was worth it. They have recently remodeled the place which makes everything look nice but also lost some of the vibe.

Yelp
We were looking for something nearby and quick and this did not disappoint! These were easily the best falafels we've ever had. The rest of the plate was so fresh also! Food came out super quick. You can tell a lot of love goes into their food. Bummed we only came here for one meal while we were in town. Service was also fantastic! Would recommend this to anyone

Yelp
Falafel plate, sandwich, salad. I had them all and kept coming back. The food is excellent, the service is friendly, the location is easy. Best of all is Ali, a fine host and sparkling conversationalist.

Yelp
Tasty and cheap falafels here. I had good falafels in Dubai at a Lebanese restaurant and these were very close to the same taste and texture. They have a sit down area and some seats outside just to eat and go. I highly recommend this for someone looking for some good falafels.

Yelp
Really great falafel and haloumi. Fresh salad. Reasonable service. Priced fairly, with nice indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Amazing falafel in the heart of East Berlin! We visited this place as a part of the food tour and absolutely loved the food. The ambience is trendy but the food is traditional! The falafels were so crisp on outside and light and fresh and tasty inside. It was one of the best falafels ive ever tried :)

Yelp
Is Dada Falafel best falafel in Berlin? Is it true? Before I came here - I heard that you are here to try the best falafel in Berlin. Even somehow she was in my bookmarks from Yelp. Time for a summary! The first impression - the place looks exclusively modern and nothing like the arabic dive for cheap eats. Stop here for a moment and enjoy the art. On the walls are hung canvases made an interesting technique. When you look at them the first time you think that you look at daubs and at the end you see the hidden truth. But let us return merits - food. I decided fro Dada Vegetarisch Taller - mix salad, couscous and falafel. Falafel is actually very good - has a distinct flavor, but not overpowering. Disappointed me while allowances for my vegetarian plate. No finesse and taste correct, but average. Price 8 euros - for such a place. I have to admit that it is very low. I tried a little meat Shawarma Taller and I have to admit that beef is a good job and for your congratulations for Dada Falafel. The deep flavor of good quality meat melts in your mouth. Portion a bit small, but apparently the idea is not to eat a lot, but good food. Interesting person here is the waiter who looks like someone pulled him out from Berghain on Sunday morning and forced to work all day. Service deserves me to 0. Summing up the visit: Dada Falafel began its existence from Dada To Go, which operates all the time and feeds the hungry in a hurry. I always admire restaurants that can prove that starting from nothing bet live on her and are very successful. There wasn't probably my best falafel in life, but is actually a really tasty. I recommend and I estimate at 3.5 *.

Yelp
Please don't go here. The owner is money hungry and does not care about customer service. I came in looking for a mixed plate with 2 pieces of extra halloumi, and instead of telling me it would cost 4,50 extra, he said "sure we can do that!" 2-3 euros extra would have been reasonable, but he milked it for all it was worth. And even after i expressed my confusion and that there must have been a misunderstanding, there was no attempt to rectify it. 11,50 for 3 balls of falafel, 4 slices halloumi and a little bit of sauce. AVOID. Berlin doesn't need establishments like this.

Yelp
So delicious! We come here all the time and it is by far one of the best falafel & shawarma places in town. The food is delicious and nicely plated. It is fresh and the tastes jump out of your mouth. The decor also needs a mention. Bright colors and funky art dresses the walls, ceilings and stairs of the place giving it a very artistic feel together with the brazilian jazz music.

Yelp
I love falafel but don't have it often enough. We were heading to an event nearby so stopped by here for food - we decided to just get the mixed plate to share rather than a dish each. For €8 the Dada mixed plate had some shredded beef (ok), three falafel (yum!), salad, a spring roll, cous cous, dips and tabouleh (or something like it). All up, it was a delicious platter - very fresh, lovely salad and it was all delicious. It also came with a side of pita bread which was perfect to stuff some of the fillings into. You can also have this platter with vegetables instead of meat. I'd say service was just ok although the guy at the bar was super friendly. There's an upstairs area but we didn't check that out, and the place was pretty quiet at 5pm on a Saturday. There's a lot of falafel places in the area so you've got lots of choice.

Yelp
Meh, why 2 stars? Overall, the food was 3 stars, but the service was below par. Not something I would go out of my way to try--not worth your time. We ordered and waited forever to pay. The least he can say was, "take a seat, and I will get to you." Nope, I stood there just waiting for him to prep food for 5 minutes before I paid him. We ordered: Falafel plate: 3/5 Beef Shawerma: 3/5

Yelp
I saw dada falafel in a couple of guides and had it on my list of places to try. Took care of that last night. We got the sampler and a falafel pita. And for the hell of it a mojito instead of a beer (crazy I know). The pita was very good. Top notch veggies and just the right amount of sauce. But of course the star was the falafel. Cooked just right and a lovely combo of spices. Loved the cumin they put in. So much of the falafel in the states is bland, so I really enjoyed the spice. The sampler plate was good but a couple of misses. Good to try once but stick with the falafel pita or plate instead. Just about everyone sitting around us was eating the same. I did want to try the shwarma, but they were already out. Couldn't help but wonder a out that if they were already sold out by 7:30. Have to go back and try that as well. Btw, the monitor, A very fine and enjoyable version.

Yelp
BEST FALAFEL AND HUMMUS YOU WILL EVER EAT!!!!! I'm not one to post review for restaurants, but I felt compelled to do so after visiting this restaurant. I was in Berlin visiting from New York for a week and came here for lunch. The food is unbelievable. You MUST go here. I got the falafel plate and the hummus. It might just be the best falafel and best hummus I've ever had. And I have had a lot of falafel and hummus from all over the world. Truly incredible flavor and taste - this is a must go if you visit Berlin!!!!!

Yelp
This place has great food, but the service is terrible. We started with a hummus appetizer for the 6 of us, which they brought out after an extended period of time, but only brought one piece of pita. When we asked for more pita, it took 15 minutes, during which time we had to stare hungrily at the half-eaten plate. We didn't even get silverware! To add insult to injury, the table next to us got their entire meal, pita included, before our pita got there, and they had arrived after us. The hummus itself was delicious, served with tahini and salad, and was also vegan. I had the falafel sandwich, which was very good. Note that the "beef shawarma" is actually lamb. The final problem occurred when we got the bill. We asked for a certain amount back in change, but instead were charged that amount. We had even clarified that we wanted that amount *back* when someone in our party asked, and the waiter gave us the coin part in 50 cent pieces so by the time we counted the change he had already walked away. It definitely put a damper on the experience, which we had enjoyed despite the pita problems up until that point.

Yelp
Probably the best Falafel shop in town. right in the center of Berlin-Mitte, few meters away from Tacheles and other cool locations. The sauces are yummy, and the salad is always fresh....a normal falafel portion should fill you up for the day.
google avatar

Yelp
The charm of this place makes it worth a visit. The interior is artsy yet comfortable and the design is Euorpean Chic. The food is not bad either and the place has several options for drinks. This is probably a good place just to come and hang out, yet no one seemed to be doing this during my visit. Tip: This is not a place to buy typical German food, but if you want to try something different, it is worth a visit.

Yelp
Their menu is quite simple and there is an English version! Walking in the food stand on a Tuesday night I decided to choose the same plate as a customer who sat just outside: DADA PLATE - €7,50 "A bit of everything with meat." This plate was as beautiful as it tasted! The Dada Plate was definitely a work of art! The festive red and green colors of the tomato/cilantro salad, the orange sliced carrots and cool green cumbersome on a bed of salad, the charming yellow honey mustard, dancing with the neutral and whites in between of hummus and babaganoush! Of course we mustn't forget that slab of sultry red chili paste! On this canvas were 3 falafel, all placed separated from each other I bring weight and balance, each with a wonderful crispy texture on the outside and a moist center that have gave me the vest falafel experience I ever had! I ordered this with meat, which I am guessing lamb, but I'm sorry to say it was quite mediocre; it tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile. It wasn't terrible bit I ate it all. To beak the round shapes was a small fried filo-dough wrap that had little greens in it. It tasted like a vegetarian Chinese eggroll to me. The cous-cous was fine as well. All the various textures and flavors and food temperatures came together so wonderfully! I loved it very much! This dish also came with a pita bread but I didn't bother with it. I shared this with my sis and it was just the right amount of food if you're looking to have dessert after! ;) Although this place was somewhat of a food stand, you have to option I waking next door to the DADA GALERIE for seating where it's also an art gallery and bar for drinks! There are optional designs upstairs as long as you being all your dirty dishes back down to the good stand. This place definitely has the art gallery feel that is great for nightlife. I really enjoyed the artsy dada movement atmosphere! I'd come back because the food was great, it was reasonably priced, the staff was friendly and just a wonderful atmosphere for a date or outing with friends!

Yelp
Dada Falafel is a hip falafel place in the middle of Berlin. Come for the tasty food, reasonable prices, Cuban music and cocktails, truly hospitable staff, cool artwork, and eclectic clientele.
google avatar

Ella T.

Yelp
Came here when staying in the Mitte area of Berlin after reading good reviews. I ordered the vegetarian dada plate, which included fried halloumi, aubergine, peppers, hummus and other different sauces and it was just amazing. I must say the falafel was delicious, probably the best falafel I've eaten. The restaurant itself is trendy and spacious with seats inside and outside. The service was quick. I even came back for a takeaway it was that good! Would definitely recommend! If only we had something like this in the UK.
google avatar

Andres J.

Yelp
Pricier falafel than you'd want from Berlin, and no peanut sauce on their halumikäse but the goods are green and fresh and it's a long walk from Mitte to your next best option. That being said: Very tasty. Very very tasty. Don't bother buying beer there if you're rolling through the to go counter because the kiosk in the small plaza outside sells half liter bottles of Rothaus Pils for €1.30.
google avatar

Qype User (tinyth…)

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite place in Berlin to get falafel. They make everything fresh and use really good produce. Most sandwiches will cost you about 3 euros and a plate about 4 euros. They have falafel, shawarma, halloumi, and more. But if you really want a special treat, I suggest ordering the dada plate. It costs 6 euros, but is easily a meal for at least 2. You can get it vegetarian or with meat and it comes with a bit of everything dada has to offer, from houmus to taboule, salad, lemon sauce, falafel, pita bread, etc. And also try the tea either with cinnamon and cardamon or with fresh mint for 1 euro. dada is a very small place. There is no real seating, with the exception of a few plastic chairs out on the curb in the summer. So be prepared to stand or sit at a bar inside or out front. That shouldn't keep you from trying it out though. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. While you eat, you can enjoy the jazz music playing. Kids will also enjoy dada. At least mine do. **EDIT** dada now has added an extra room for sitting and art. Now you can enjoy it sitting and enjoying their delicious food even more than before.
google avatar

Naomi L.

Yelp
Amazing falafel. We had the dada plate and ate outside, everything was excellent. Great hummus too. Very nice service.
google avatar

Kat C.

Yelp
Best falafel I've ever tried! Waiters are friendly too. Would definitely recommend the falafel plate or the dada plate where you can sample everything. The prices are reasonable too.
google avatar

Sori K.

Yelp
Strong concept. Fast. Good price. Cheap but quite OK food quality, toilet was clean also. I will go there again def. But seems beverage isn't good. Don't order coffee don't order cocktail.
google avatar

Olivia L.

Yelp
Super fresh and hot falafel (3.50)! The scharf (spicy) sauce is actually spicy and tastes great! The vegetables were fresh and complimentary. Service was instant. Pretty grab-and-go place, but way healthier and fresher than your typical kebab shop. Perks for tourists: there is a kebab shop right next door in case your party isn't settled on a lunch option. You can follow linienstr. to shopping locations and coffee shops or head over to the museum island from here as you walk with your falafel!
google avatar

Tom C.

Yelp
The yelp description of two stars is "Meh. I've experienced better." That's exactly what I said after eating Dada Falafel. It's fine. But, it's trendy and popular and I think uses that to compensate for its food. I've had better - plenty better. This is especially true in Berlin, where there is lots of falafel. Just this weekend, I had falafel from a street truck that was much better. However, I will say this - they do use very fresh ingredients, and the lettuce and veggies they put into the falafel sandwich are top-notch. However, the falafel itself was a bit dry and bread-y and the pita was thin and soaked in sauce.
google avatar

Diana B.

Yelp
it's true...Dada Falafel is fab. Fresh falafel and salad and also the variety of sauces really set this place apart. I was delighted that my falafel sandwich not only had chili sauce but also some kind of yellow curry thing, sesame sauce, AND hummus. There's some griping about the price being 3eur instead of 2.5, but many falafel places will charge an extra 50cents for hummus anyway, so the price is pretty equivalent. And anyway, I am not going to squabble over a 50 cent price difference when there is more than 50 cent's worth difference in quality! The decor is cool, as is the music, and it all seems very clean--another three elements that make this place stand out from your typical Imbiß. Come a little early to beat the crowds, and you're golden :)
google avatar

J. R.

Yelp
Very fresh ingredients and pita bread combined to create a perfect falafel. Open late, informal, quick, not greasy, delicious. (I also like the trap door behind the counter.)
google avatar

N T.

Yelp
Was good, now it's just a terrible tourist trap. The pita is full with lettuce, costs 3.50 Euro and is of horrible quality. They charge you 3.50 Euro for latte macchiato. The service is very slow, it used to be five stars and I've been here few times a week but now I decided: never again. And you should avoid it too. Tourists and locals alike.
google avatar

Tif L.

Yelp
I have had my far share of falafels, but this was for sure the best falafels I have ever had. I even went out of my way to go get falafels from the famous place in Paris (cant remember off the top of my head) and I thought those were good, but these were amazing. They make them fresh (you can watch them scoop each falafel ball and put them in the deep fryer). If you go, get the dada plate that has a little bit of everything. You order first and pay, get your food, and then you can find a seat in the room next door. Definitely will have to try!
google avatar

Allison R.

Yelp
dada's Imbiss offerings are a bit more high brow than your average doener stand, and from what I remember, you pay for it! I wasn't wowed by my falafel sandwich, but do remember some tasty chicken options on offer. I'd still prefer to hit one of the greasier joints, but to each his own.
google avatar

Kasia W.

Yelp
I'm not sure if there is a city which I love more right now than Berlin. I have spent there an awesome week in July. Dada Falafel is absolutely one of my favourite spots. I really appreciate prices there - in the center of the city you can eat for 3,50€ or 5,50€. I'm not a biggest fan of falafel to be honest but haloumi is delicious. You can bring your friends and enjoy meal in the fresh air. Nearby there is a perfect place for ice creams for a dessert. I don't remember name unfortunately but you can find it easily. This is also a perfect area for a walk after meal - especially Oranienburger Strasse with Neue Synagogue and Postfuhramt (old and beautiful building of postal service).

Yelp
Delicious, fast, and cheap! Prices are around 3,50 for a sandwich or 5 for a plate. We got four plates for five people and quite enjoyed our dinner. Options: falafel, fried eggplant, halumi (fried goat cheese), lamb shawerma. The falafel is incredible fluffy and tasty, with five to a plate, and all the plates come with a mildly spiced and very creamy hummus + salad with cucumbers, carrots, and honey mustard. They were out of shawarma by the time we got there (about 8 p.m., the place was packed with locals with bike helmets perched on their tables), so we got the three other options and a couscous salad, which was also delicious and slightly spicy. I'm not a huge halumi fan but the others liked it, and I did enjoy the eggplant and couscous a lot. We also loved that he took our order and then fried the falafel, halumi, and eggplant fresh for our takeout boxes. Super cool little shop for a cheap eat in the middle of Mitte. Someone said they avoid Oranienberger strasse, which we've also been told, but this is on Linienstrasse. Adored the food, and the atmosphere was also very chill with all the packed picnic tables outside.
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
Was looking for some good vegetarian food- read all the yelp reviews so headed over. The food was delicious and the portions generous! Had the mixed vegetarian plate- hummus, aubergine dip, haloumi, 3 falafels, spinach roll, salad, tabouleh, couscous, fried eggplant- all delicious! highly recommend!
google avatar

Trang N.

Yelp
Something about drinking always puts me in the mood for some cheap munchies. There are some things you should know about Berlin. AKA it's cheap. It's very inexpensive and food for the most part delicious, this being one of them. Amazing Turkish desserts. I am so in love with the desserts here. Very inexpensive and just the right sweetness and flavor. Talk about an amazing tzatziki and hot sauce! What's amazing to order here is the falafel and the fried cheese.
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
I wouldn't go as far as calling this the best falafel in town, but it's pretty good and the perfect spot for lunch when exploring Berlin-Mitte. The falafel is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the sauces are yummy, and the salad is fresh. Service is fast and there is lots of seating outside. The prices are on the higher side, but nothing outrageous considering the location.
google avatar

George F.

Yelp
Lonely Planet was right about this place. Fantastic! My falafel was delicious and full of fresh veggies. My wife says she won't go because only tourists go to Oranienburgerstr. Whatever. Dada is worth a trip. :-)
google avatar

Sreejith P.

Yelp
The sauce is awesome. Make sure though not to take too much of hot sauce..the red one is crazy... However its the best falafel ive ever had in my falafel diaries.
google avatar

Anna N.

Yelp
Amazing food-everything was fresh, nice place for lunch. Delicious hummus and falafel. Modern interesting interior. Near by Tacheles.
google avatar

Jessie M.

Yelp
Great felafel, but pretty crowded because it's gotten very popular in the last years. Be quick with your order so you can grab a table in time. If you eat outside (order from the left side) you can get your option im Brot, or you can go into the right side to sit down inside and get your option on a plate.
google avatar

Christina S.

Yelp
Fresh and tasty! The food is beautifully prepared and presented. The flavor is excellent. I've tried the falafel and the schwarma (sp?) sandwiches. Both were good, but they call it Da Da FALAFEL for a reason. ;) The other items all looked enticing, but I was trying to be economic. So the sandwiches are the way to go (at 4 euros a piece, I believe). The men who run it don't speak much English, but they are helpful and kind. Last tip: when they ask if you "like spicy", if you do, definitely say yes!! Their special spicy sauce is amazing!
google avatar

Seán S.

Yelp
Being as I had just left the Dr.'s office which was close and it was lunchtime, I thought to myself, I should try Dada and see what all the hype on Qype is about. I decided on the delicious Beef Schwarma plate, I thought at the time of receiving it that it looked a bit small but that was not the case. The meat had been nicely marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce. I almost thought it was too sweet at the time but now that a number of hours have passed without heartburn, I think it was OK ;) The salad, sauces and hummous that came with it were also great. I sat on a little table outside as it was sunny and beautiful weather. I would highly recommend it. Although I must go back to try their falafel.
google avatar

Maria S.

Yelp
Absolutely lovely place to eat. Great atmosphere, delicious food, nice staff. The mango sauce is fantastic and the chile sauce is the just about spicy enough for my Mexican tastebuds. Can't wait to go again.
google avatar

Laura E.

Yelp
Good falafel, very moderate prices, nice outside seating area 5,50 for a falafel plate with hummus, other sauces and a couscous/vegetable garnish
google avatar

Alexi A.

Yelp
Let me explain the 4 instead of 5 stars I'm rating it based on prices in Kreuzberg I know I shouldn't dock it for being in the location it's in, BUT, it WOULD HAVE gotten 6 stars from me if it was 50 cents cheaper, indicating that it isn't cashing in on the affluent location. The food: Tasty, fresh. What more is there to say? This is also one of the few places I trust the beef in Berlin. The falafel is top notch as well. Sauce is excellent, you won't be dissatisfied here, only if you're like me and expecting to pay only 2.50 for your sandwich Highly recommended nonetheless!
google avatar

Andrew W.

Yelp
Good food, music, and decor. The meat was lean and flavorful. Good spicy sauce. Quick service and friendly. But a tad pricy.

Kajsa R.

Yelp
This falafel is not like any falafel! It is spiced to perfection and every component - the hummus, tabbouleh etc - of the dish is just so incredibly flavourful! You should definitely visit this place if you want to experience a next-level falafel!

Yelp
Good place, very fresh and tasty food, I took the vegeterian falafel and it was just divine, Totally recommended

Remarkable Hummus* sandwich (pita bread+hummus+salad+olive oil) Hummus: a paste made of mashed chickpeas, tahini paste, oil, lemon juice, and garlic

Yelp
I have only had takeaway but I really like this place. The falafel is made to order. The salads are fresh, perky, crispy and tasty. Tahini good. The bread, very good. I really like this place!
