I had never been to this restaurant but had always heard great things. I took my lovely girlfriend here and they did not disappoint!! Our server Tom was well versed in the cuisine and offered a very nice complimentary wine with dinner. We had the horseradish crusted flounder and the grilled red fish and they were both sublime!!! We will most certainly be visiting again!!!

I came to this restaurant with my mom and everything was so delicious and fresh. We had the lobster potato cake, red snapper, vegetables, baked potato and flour less chocolate cake. We loved it. Chocolate cake was so good and rich. The vegetables though prepared simply with butter and salt was amazing. I can eat those by itself. Everything was great. We shall most definitely be returning soon. The service was great. Five stars all around.

Some of the best seafood in Dallas. Extremely reasonably priced for the quality of food and service. The staff is delightful. The linguini with grilled shrimp is a personal favorite and the calamari is to die for. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't had the pleasure of dining here before. If you'd rather grab and go I'd recommend the take out special from Monday to Thursdays. Have never had a bad meal from here.

Excellent dinner! Very Impressed with the attention to service. The food was spectacular. Fresh and cooked to perfection. Don't be deceived by the size or outside appearance. Make reservations- the place filled up fast on a Friday night.

This place is great! The wine selection was great, the service was excellent, and the salmon was amazing! It's a small restaurant and it has a very unique feel to it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some great seafood in Dallas!

Out of $90.73 worth of food the only thing that was really good was the clam chowder. We came here on a whim instead of going to aww shucks or one of our normal spots because the good reviews. To start the meal we ordered steamed clams and a crab cake. The clams were gritty, and over cooked. The crab cakes had way to much filler and not much crab. Which gave it a mushy constancy. For the main course I had the backed stuffed shrimp and my GF had the beef tenderloin & scallop skewers the shrimp was cooked well and tasted good but the stuffing was the same mushy wet ritz cracker tasting mush they made the crab cakes with. The skewers were cooked right but l lacked any type of seasoning and were quite bland. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose when trying new spots seems like the reviews were good and lots of people had a good experience here, just wasn't the fact in my case.

Ate here for the first time in seven years since I moved here. I had to get in before they closed their doors! I tried the calamari which wasn't entirely disappointing but I hoped that it would be more melt-in-your-mouth style. Sad to see such a great place go away!

We've been going to Daddy Jacks for many years. One of our favorites in Dallas. The staff is very professional, the food is wonderful, and the ambiance is so un-Dallas like. This is not a high gloss, loud, typical Dallas restaurant. It's quiet, funky, with wonderful food. The lobster bisque is some of the best I've had in Dallas. You'll be very pleased!
