Clean. Kind people. Helpful. Best sheets and pillows I’ve ever had in any hotel. Surprisingly good thick cotton fabric. Location was perfect. One small note it was 97% quiet. But a neighboring apartment somewhere (not a room in hotel or lobby) played music one night of 3 until like 10. No biggie.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed an eight-night stay here, and the location couldn't be better—it's right in the center of town. It's very easy to catch Ubers and buses, with everything you need within walking distance. There are numerous shops, restaurants, and bars in the vicinity. We absolutely love the hotel's interior, and the balcony is our favorite spot, offering a lovely view of the town and a sight of Table Mountain. They also have a mini bar where you can enjoy coffee and muffins in the morning, as well as some beers and alcohol if you're in the mood. The staff is exceptionally accommodating and helpful, ensuring we were well taken care of and recommending various activities. A special shout-out to Mayema and Manny for their kindness during our stay. We will definitely return on our next visit to Cape Town. Thank you for your hospitality! Warm regards, Rein & Jurie

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "My husband and I stayed at Daddy Long Legs Art Hotel for 7 days to celebrate my birthday, which coincided with New Year's Eve, and it was absolutely amazing! The hotel's artistic vibe made it such a unique and memorable experience. A special shoutout to Mani and the entire staff for their exceptional customer service—they truly go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. The owner should know they have an incredible team creating one of the best customer experiences we've had in a long time. The internet speeds were fantastic, allowing us to get some work done during our stay. The "Emergency Room" is definitely on our list for next time—we can't wait to return! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a creative, welcoming, and central spot in Cape Town. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!"

This is a great little hotel tucked away right on Long Street. It’s a good value for the money. The rooms were clean, comfortable, strong WiFi, helpful staff. Conveniently located within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. And if you like funky art décor rooms, this could be perfect for you. Enjoy your stay.

Well find myself at the Daddy Long legs Art Hotel once again, and what an amazing room I have, and tranquil, and clean. Manie the Manager is a good friend and he always makes sure my stay is memorable. The staff on the other hand is equisite, on point and very welcoming and friendly. Please support this beautifu boutique Hotel. I give it a 5 star rating.

My wife and I enjoyed The Daddy Long Legs Hotel ( what a name and it speaks to the cool vibe the place has).|I would recommend the hotel for a number of reasons. |1. Manie and his staff were extremely welcoming and very interested in making us comfortable, me in particular. I suffered with very sore and achy feet while I was visiting South Africa . As my wife went off to every possible walking tour , I stayed fairly close to Long Legs. I was set up with a Black Label or a Savannah Cider in the lounge area to watch the women’s World Cup and other interesting programs. The balcony was also nice to relax.|2. Our room which was called The Open Room was very comfortable and quiet. It was on the top floor not facing busy Long Street. I loved the room and the Queen sized bed.|3.The location is quite convenient to many places of interest like St. George’s Cathedral ( Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s ), Company’s Garden, The Parliament Building. We enjoyed breakfast several times at The Ladder and Gingers cafe just a few blacks away.|The staff are a relatively small group and I really enjoyed their kindness and good company when I was hanging out.|Great fun at a very reasonable price.

I will start with the negative. when I arrived, I was not particularly impressed with the cleanliness or lack thereof of the apartment and the state of the bedding linen.||||Having said that, I was highly impressed with the prompt response to all my questions prior to checking in. When I reported the above 2 issues, I felt like I was the only customer. They made me feel very important. The maintenance guy was lovely, tentatively listened to everything I said and ensured before he left I was ok. The Housekeeping lady did an amazing job making sure that place was spotless before she left. And ensured that I would be comfortable for the duration of my stay. Whoever was behind what's app responded to each and every text I sent promptly. ||||Highly impressed with the service I received.||||Thank you.

We stayed at the self catering apartment. The view is beautiful and the place is really nice. However, it’s literally on top of a bar/club, you’re never going to sleep! The floors literally shakes because of the music being played downstairs, you can hear people screaming and talking odd hours of the morning. It’s a vibe if you’re on a night out but definitely won’t recommend otherwise.
