This was my first time trying Hanwoo. I chose this traditional restaurant, hoping for some authenticity. It seems that only ribeye was available on the menu. Some items were written on the wall in Korean, and we had difficulty translating them accurately with an app. The ajumma seemed impatient and rudely handed us a simple English menu to order from. Maybe I had high expectations, but the meat quality was not as good as I had imagined. The fried rice at the end was quite delicious though. The ajumma seemed very rushed and rude throughout the meal. Since it was our first day arriving in Seoul, the overall experience felt even more negative. Definitely not a place for tourists like me who want to slowly digest the menu or take photos of the food. The environment felt tense. Next time, I will definitely avoid places like this and opt for a more modern restaurant for Hanwoo beef instead.

The menu is simple, featuring sirloin, radish kimchi fried rice, and miso soup, and the taste is absolutely worth the price. 🧆 Food: The 200g sirloin portion comes with a price tag of 55,000 won, which might be considered quite pricey, but the succulent sirloin is worth every penny. The fried rice and miso soup are also must-try items that perfectly complement the BBQ. The food is consistently good, and my family and I always leave satisfied. 💬 Service: The service at Daedo Samsung is consistently good. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and they take care of grilling the meat and preparing the side dishes for you, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. My parents are regulars here and have become acquainted with the staff, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. 💁🏻‍♀️ Would I revisit this place? Yes, definitely. I would revisit Daedo Samsung anytime for a satisfying Korean BBQ experience. It's a great place for families and friends to enjoy a meal together, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Korean BBQ.

Great quality of Korean hanwoo beef. There’s a lot of marbling, so it gets rich after a while, which is when you switch to the radish kimchi fried rice. One of my favorite bbq places.

If you are beef lover, this is really good restaurant. I cannot say that it is healthy food because you have to use fat to cook the beef but the taste is excellent. There is only one type of beef unlike other beef BBQ restaurant. Worth a try! This restaurant has a history and the founder who is the mother of the owner still comes to the restaurant to receive bills. She is not always there but respected by all employees. One other thing.... I have been going to this restaurant for more than 10 years and the people working in the restaurant still remain working. What does this tell you? Noisy but wanting to have a good beef with Soju? Why hesitate!!!

ONE OF THE BEST KOREAN STYLE BBQ PLACES IN SEOUL - Top quality beef, grilled deliciously on a metal pan - top quality service - a little expensive(around $50 per person), but I guarantee you'll get more than what you pay for - the sides("banchan," provided for free) are very interesting: raw cabbage with Gochujang to dip, and a spicy spring onion salad("Pa-muchim") - you can have KIMCHI FRIED RICE(at an additional cost) afterwards, on the same pan you had your bbq

This is one of best place to get Korean BBQ near Samseong-dong. Meat quality is excellent. Worth little premium in price.
