Daegu National Museum

The museum is very clean and well maintained. It shows the history of Korean dynasties in an interesting way. It is a nice place to visit for both couples and families, calm, educational, and perfect for a relaxing day. It’s free of charge!

Not a huge museum, but they have unique artefacts such as statues of Buddha's from the area, hanboks and ancient history. Entry is FREE.

I was so lucky to visit here during the Korean Incense exhibition that I could see one of the most beautiful historical artifacts that of Baek-je over 1500 years ago. It is very rare chance that is shown outside of Buyeo museum. It was so awesome.

I visited this Museum last weekend and I was amazed of the place. The Museum preserves the unique culture heritage of Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do. I started my tour to Ancient Culture hall, Medieval Culture Hall and Clothing Culture Hall. There are so many things I learn and observe during my visit. the staffs are so kind and very helpful. You don't have to worry about Korean language, because there is a staff at the receptionist who can speak English. Now the Daegu National Museum is held a special exhibition with the theme "Diversity and Evolution of Traditional Korean Footwear" from May 14th - September 22nd 2024. If you come to Daegu, don't forget to visit Daegu National Museum.

Free museum. Interesting museum with exhibits on different eras of Korean history from medieval to modern. Also has exhibits on Korean traditional attire. Plenty of facilities and activities for kids as well

Quite a small museum. Items have English label and English explanation. Sourvenirs are quite cheap at the souvenir shop as compared to Artbox. It's easy to get there by subway and then bus. Free entrance

Daegu National Museum. A good place to bring the kids. Quite a substantial amount of artifacts and relics to be seen here. If you are interested in Korean history, definitely a place to stop by. Plus admission is free! Who doesn't love free stuff? 😁😛
