Daelenbroeck castle

Spectacular building, and it was really interesting to see how it had been restored. The staff were very pleasant and helpful but we had a wait for check us in and later on I think the dining room also needed an extra member of staff. The tower room had plenty of room, an excellent bed, bath and shower, and superb views.

Beautiful suite, very clean, the beds were too soft for us but we enjoyed our stay. Great diner, nice and fresh breakfast. The staff is extremere helpfull and friendly. The view is perfect and it is very quiet around the hotel.|We came to shop in outlet Roermond and our trip was very good and relaxing. We willen definetely come back!

I "only" went to the restaurant with my wife and brother in law. Only vastly downplays how great the experience was. We had the 5 course chef's menu and really enjoyed every bite. It started with a delicious black Angus carpaccio, then courgette soup with pork belly that had been cooked for 48 hours and herring roe. Next up was an incredibly delicious hare dish with mushrooms. I've never had hare before, now I'm on the lookout for a local hunter so I can get some to cook myself. Then we had the main course of hake, which was really nicely cooked. The dessert was some raspberry cheesecake, sorbet, cream, crackly crunchy stuff and just pure refreshing deliciousness. The service was excellent too and I must specifically thank Joy for his perfect manner and exemplary treatment of everyone who he served, not that the others were bad but special is special and I wish him all the best for his future. All in all a really lovely evening and I can only recommend it. We'll be back! We went back. Wasn't as good.

We had a very nice stay at the Daelenbroeck castle. Our room was in the castle tower, which was great! Great room with infrared sauna and Jacuzzi. The area is great to walk with or without a dog. Or to cycle. Breakfast is classic and the quality is fine. No eggs to order and a bit lacking in options. Staff is very nice and helpful

We spent a night at the Kasteel, had a lovely room in the old "borderij". The room was absolutely amazing, very cosy, with a well stocked minibar, coffee and tea maker Due to the weather being so bad, we spent a few hours in the room, which was just fine. We booked a table at the restaurant for the night, and can recommend the very friendly service. The only minus was the long time it took between courses. In fact it took so long between starter and main meal, that we didn't want a dessert afterwards. Breakfast buffet in the morning was very good and plentiful. All in all we had a very good time, and already recommended it to our friends.

It looks great however: staff is not competent and very unwilling the serve you. If there is no "vlaai" they simply do not serve something else. We asked for a dinner with Allergenen exceptions, that was a major challenge. Not available during breakfast! The shower was full with fungus! The toilet was leaking. The fish filit was full with little bones. The special ham was burned. The mini bar was filled with a used half empty bottle of wine. The shower went from hot to cold and back constantly without any action. The insect screen at one window was loose at all sides, no one installed at the other window. ||We had to go to the cafetaria across the street to get a decent meal after dinner. What was the reaction of staff during check out? We are so sorry you had this rotten experience. Please pay the full amout. Goodbye!

This is a very beautiful and quiet castle, the rooms are also very nice, the staff are very friendly, the normal check-in time is before 10 pm, we informed the hotel in advance that we would arrive late and we did not encounter any problems.

Visited the vintage fair and liked it. Thoughtful, full of flair.

Yelp Challenge 2017: # 63/100 International Version. We visited the Romanik Hotel Kasteel Daelenbroeck and were in love at first site. This is a hotel , castle , and restaurant all wrapped in one. Located in the Netherlands this ideal location is perfect for weddings , wine tastings, and other events. From lush green gardens, to beautiful ponds its landscape is simply breathtaking. What more can one ask for? Inside the enterance is a resturant and cafe that is very european / french in flavor. I ordered the Latte Machiatto 2.60 euro with shot of liquor and whipped cream. It was smooth to taste and excellent. With the combination of hotel and resturant the romantik hotel is a great place to visit. Insider scoop: coming up in a few weeks the weekend of June 9 & 11 they have a culinair weekend with live music, food, and wine tasting. The enterance is $15 euro per person but if you want to eat and stay at the hotel they have a package $60 euro per person.
