Trying to book last minute during SPA F1 week on a whim. Was not able to score couple days stay as one of the F1 teams had all the rooms reserved. So, unofficial, official F1 hotel. Daft is quirky meets quiet luxury and every corner feels like an inside joke told in perfect design language. It’s giving boutique cool without trying too hard, the kind of place where vinyl spins in the lobby, coffee’s strong enough to cure jet lag, and the vibe says creative retreat, not cookie-cutter stay. Rooms? Cozy, stylish, and unapologetically Daft in the best way, smart layouts, mood lighting and functional. Staff’s got the easy charm of people who actually like their jobs [rare]! Great complimentary breakfast because their scrambled eggs are perfect and reminds me of my childhood! This isn’t just a hotel, it’s a mood board with room service.

Hotel is 2 star and very basic accommodation. Like a ski cabin. |Garden and tents are beautiful against woodland backdrop|Wellbeing area very nice. |We paid 2.2K Euros for 3 nights during GP (5 star prices!) and were publicly reprimanded by the owners for mistakenly cooking a Belgium sausage on the BBQ! Apparently only their preordered food is allowed. The owner said I would have to pay 35 euros extra for cooking my own food (the grill was huge and already alight) but she backtracked when I mentioned what we had paid! Other families were eating their own food all weekend. We preordered their chicken wings the day before and it did not come with any salad or sides like slaw? Additionally, their restaurant was closed (informed 2 days before the GP weekend stay) and the preorder menu is very unhealthy carb-loaded and no salads or vegetables. Breakfast was average with flies all over the fruit and smoothies. The Best Western breakfast in Calais was much better! This place is like a posh 'mum at home' project. A great deal of thought has gone into the design but in our case they are not nice to guests. We would not return.

Two star hotel - remember that ! Paid £2k for 3 day stay at F1 weekend, hotel quite empty so not a fun evening vibe Wellness bit great and tented area and outside bar area beautiful Rooms simple, ski bunk type, polished concrete everywhere is very slippy so careful if you have any mobility issues Breakfast average, not particularly generous, eggs unappealing and flies on fruit and smoothies - had to ask for black tea. Too many confusing rules everywhere plus NO restaurant or healthy food in the evening We made mistake with food cooking our own belgium sausage on the grill and eating a shop-bought salad and had owners tear into us in front of other guests. They say it's a place for artists and Buddhists.... as long as you comply!!! 🙄😆🚩🚩🚩

We ended up here by chance after our car broke down late on a Sunday night. What a lucky find this was! From sorting us out with a room at 9:30pm on a Sunday, to holding the room in case we needed it for a second night (we did) and storing bikes and luggage while we found a replacement car, everyone could not have been more helpful. It made something that could have been very stressful into a great stay. An honesty bar, great breakfast, coffee on tap, a pool and sauna, high quality projectors to screen films in your room, beautiful surroundings, great merch...we will be back under better circumstances! Thank you all.

I've stayed at DAFT 4 times! 1x in the hotel & 3x in the glamping. : ) What a special place! I've been for business 2x & twice also with my family. If you're looking for a tucked away place to stay nestled beautifully in the Ardennes with a rock'n'roll soul & wonderful atmosphere; then you'll find it here! Hope to be back again soon!

Very interesting and good experience! We travelled with two children and had two communicating rooms. The staff is very nice and helpful. It was very quiet ( not too many guest so we can’t judge the noise if there’s a neighbor). Nice fire pit that we unfortunately only ejoined shortly (children…). Only minus is that the tiles in the spa are very slippery and without slippers there’s a serious danger to fall on your Popo.

The DAFT is not daft at all. A few km from the Vennbahn. Super friendly reception. The rooms are tidy and well equipped. Beamer with Chromecast. We like the 'Honesty Bar' concept. You pay via scan code and help yourself. Can't wait for our pizza tonight. The picture is a view of the garden. I can only recommend.
