This was my first ever stay at a B&B anywhere - EVER - so I have nothing to compare it to. I do know that it sets the bar super high for any B&B experiences for me going forward. The owners, Mark and Darcy, were super friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Darcy offered to help me carry in my luggage. Both were full of wonderful ideas on things to do, places to go, and where to eat nearby. Their suggestions were perfect and made for such a wonderful and diverse trip. The house was immaculate but welcoming - I loved the cozy living room space. The bedroom was spacious and inviting. The cherry on top was the huge delicious breakfast provided each morning - something different every day that included locally sourced fruits and produce. They were attentive to allergies and always offered to make something different if someone at the table did not like what was offered. There was enough food that we were comfortably full until well after lunch time, freeing up our meal budget because we only needed breakfast and a late lunch or early supper. Coffee, hot chocolate, water, sodas, fruit, and all kinds of snacks were available in case anyone got the munchies. There were several nice areas outside to sit and visit (too hot for our liking in July, but still nice spaces). Would definitely recommend this place, and if we ever go back to Dahlonega, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else but the inn on Main. This was a great place for a girls' trip for us, but would also be great for couples/anniversary.
