Great study place, relaxing and quiet. The scent of matcha filled the air as I walked into this establishment. Although the prices are quite expensive, I would say that it is worth it for this quality treat! The white peach jasmine tea was quite a delight as the small dried pieces of peach added a peculiar texture. The tea itself was not too sweet, but sweet enough for sweet-lovers to still enjoy it. Overall, good place if you’re willing to spend good money for good food.

This matcha parfait did surprise me with its strong matcha flavour. I expected it to be sweet, creamy but didn't know it could taste so much like the ones I had in Japan! Of course the matcha flavour wasn't as delicate as in Japan, but there was indeed some aftertaste for the matcha. Combining with red bean and 白玉 this is the perfect matcha parfait to end a day.

Tsujiri is a great place that specializes in all things matcha. Usually I get their parfaits as it has its signature matcha ice cream along with some cookies and crunchy bits to add texture. Of course the toppings vary depending on the parfait you get. This time I ordered three cakes to go. It was later in the day so my options were limited. I ordered their matcha lava cake, double cheese cake, and a matcha mousse cake. Overall they all had great matcha flavour and was quite rich tasting so it's probably best to limit yourself to one per serving unless you have some tea to pair with then it might be better. Service was good as I was just ordering to go. I have been their precovid and do enjoy the seating area towards the back. The interior is very well designed and really gives you a taste of Japan.

Been here many times and let me tell you - MATCHA LOVERS -- MUST TRY when in the area!! Every time I come here, the service is great! Patient, friendly, and quick to prepare the orders. Average wait time was probably 2 minutes. Prices are fair for such unique place right on the corner of Yonge & Sheppard. The average bill for 2 I usually leave is $14-20 (2 drinks OR two desserts). Love their regular matcha lattes, ice cream, and cakes. See the photo - cake is worth the $7, so tender and fresh! That said, a few times we came here and got a little less of ice cream serving than other times. Would recommend to sticking to a specific portion size when serving customers.

Beautiful green tea soba restaurant with a small focused menu. Savory meals are served on the second floor, while desserts occur on the ground floor. Each space has its own look and feel: bright and airy with wood finishes upstairs, and dark and dark finishes on the ground floor. All the food comes out quickly and is nicely prepared with care and attention.

Delicious Japanese beverages with friendly and kind staffs! Their new limited series is delicious. The matcha one has some unique boba inside, it pairs well with the rest of the dessert :) This place is also my parents-approved haha

The organic hojicha smoothie was so strong and flavourful! Love how smooth and roasted the hojicha was. The shiratama oolong tea parfait was very sweet and goes so well with mochi. The decor was also very cute

I usually have my matcha softserve craving fixed here (since Tsujiri) but stopped going when they (Daigyo) only offered white peach flavour for quite some time. Went back today and surprised they have matcha softserve again but unfortunately somehow the taste was off, ice cream was kinda icy sorbet-ish and did not have strong matcha flavour as before - probably of cheaper lower grade/quality, definitely not worth the almost $10 per cup.
