I visited this place twice, and unfortunately, my last visit was very disappointing.
I came with my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day during lunchtime. The weather was sunny, but quite windy. All the tables inside were occupied, though we noticed a few free tables outside.
However, they were located in a very windy area. We saw one couple sitting at two tables that had been pushed together for four people, in a less windy spot. Since there were only two of them, we politely asked if they would mind splitting the tables. They kindly agreed.
However, when the waitress came over, she explained that due to the restaurant’s policy, it was not allowed to separate the tables. This made us feel quite upset and uncomfortable. The other couple also felt uncomfortable, especially since they had no problem sharing the space and were being very friendly.
I understand that it was not the waitress’s fault — she was simply following the restaurant’s policy. However, I was truly shocked by the owner’s approach. The policy seems unreasonable and not customer-oriented at all. It’s disappointing that the restaurant would rather stick to such a rigid rule than accommodate guests, especially on Valentine’s Day. If they had allowed it, we would have happily stayed and spent our money there.
To sum up, after this experience, I can no longer recommend this place.
