Currently visiting Auckland and this was the first time I saw this place open. Looks similar to the boutique bread places all around Australia. I always judge breakfast places with how they do poached eggs on toast and it was perfectly poached plus their coffee which was also very good. Their sourdough was also amazing plus they give you two slices which I always give places extra points for doing. Got a side of mushrooms, serving size was a bit small but the taste was so delicious it didn’t matter as the flavour/taste made up for it. Would come back to try other things. Place was busy and had a cute atmosphere. Would recommend and will be coming back when here again.

Food - 10/10 Chai Latte - 8/10 I had the daily benny and it was so good with the croquettes. A friend had ordered chilli pork and gave it a solid rating too. Chai was a little weak and diluted for me. Would come here again to try out other stuff!

Me and my friend came here for the first time to enjoy a nice meal, the matcha latte was excellent, but the service and food was not good. We repeated ourselves to the servers so many times our order and they kept asking us if we were waiting for anything. We also got 2 sides of hollandaise sauce, the server even asked the chef how much to charge and if they had any. The chef said yes. So charged us $6 for extra hollandaise, the mains came out without the sides of hollandaise we ordered, again I had to repeat myself asking where our hollandaise was. We waited and the server came back with cash and apologised and said they ran out. What a waste of time that was. We spent nearly $93 on our whole meal and the food was disappointing. Bread was dry and hard, eggs plain and pork belly was thin. It was the most basic meal iv ever spent a lot of money on. I left the cafe feeling disappointed and ripped off, didn’t even eat my whole meal because of how disappointing it was. Atmosphere was good, latte was good but food and service a big NO

Yummy 😋 bread lovers delight... The egg roll was my favourite. Ham and cheese with mustard to die for. Cinnamon bun delicious. Great coffee. Highly recommend. Will be back

Daily Bread Britomart – A Bread-Lover’s Holy Land In a world where bread has been cast out like a glutenous villain… enter Daily Bread – the delicious rebel Auckland never knew it needed. Housed in a modern-industrial temple of carbs, this place takes freshness to a whole new level. The bread? Fluffy, chewy, crunchy in all the right places. It somehow tastes indulgent and good for you – like your inner wellness guru and your snack goblin finally made peace. You’ll walk in thinking, “Just a coffee,” and leave cradling a bag of pastries, a fresh loaf, a mystery bun, and maybe a croissant you didn’t even order (but spiritually needed). Top tip: Get the French toast. It’s soft, sweet, and slightly life-changing. Like dessert for breakfast but with just enough virtue to pretend it’s health food. Perfect spot for people-watching, vibing with strangers, and pretending you're in a European film about rediscovering joy – one pastry at a time. Go. Eat the bread. Be happy.

My friend who lives locally has taken me to this place! Says it is the most popular and famous in Auckland City! Yeah, totally agreed! There are amazing vibes here, feel cozy and simply the best! Excellent service and great proper cappuccino. This pastry is yum! I love the custard donut. It's probably the best by far ! Highly recommend this place.

Disappointed by how I was treated at Daily Bread. I brought in a drink I hadn’t finished, and after I sat down to eat, a short-haired Asian woman with glasses and jeans came over and said sharply, “You’re not allowed to bring this in. Didn’t you see the sign?”I explained I came from the other side and didn’t see any sign, and I apologized. She replied, “Hide it and take it with you when you leave.” I felt singled out and spoken to rudely — especially since I saw other customers with their own drinks too. I respect house rules, but staff should communicate them with kindness and consistency. This experience left a bad impression.

These pastries were amazing! The savory and sweet pasties were great. Highly recommend the Bacon and Cheese Croissant. The hazelnut croissant was different and very tasty. Coffee was just ok!
