A cute little hidden coffee bar in downtown Toronto delights with comfy ambiance and delicious brews. I stopped here in the morning on a whim as I was rushing to work, to get a quick coffee and bolt to the office. A quick search later and I found the daily dose. Service was quick, friendly and they make a beautiful cup of coffee. The coffee bar is warm, welcoming and comfortable. I was in and out quickly but I could just as easily stayed to be late for work. They absolutely nailed the coffee in every aspect. I’ll definitely be back and you should definitely stop in for your daily dose!

Daily Dose is a bustling cafe located in the downtown core, I walk by so often and finally got to try it! It wasn't busy on a Sunday morning but usually it's packed when I come by. It is located downstairs with a few tables inside, but there is a small patio outside as well. Good selection of desserts, croissants, scones - but seems like they are baked at a different location. They offered to reheat my croissant, which is a nice touch. Service is friendly, they forgot to charge me for my iced Americano though so I had to tell her. Coffee tastes good, and prices are on par with other cafes

Google
omg this is the cutest place ever!! the matcha cookie was out of this world amazing!! nice and chewy and flavourful! a little bit sweet with some nice gooey white chocolate chips 10/10 the vanilla latte (triple and iced) had a nice espresso flavour and was so refreshing the carrot cake was amazing as well! so moist and the cream on top was so delicious overall such a cute place to do some work or a little coffee date nice seating outside and inside! tucked away so it’s quiet but it’s welcoming super sweet staff, they helped us choose our cookies and they made the right suggestion!

Google
Daily Dose Coffee Bar is a lovely little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Toronto. They have a great cappuccino and a nice space to sit, along with a small patio. If you’re in the area, I’d recommend popping in for a coffee and perhaps getting a tasty scone!

The coffee itself was really good However, I’d strongly recommend labeling the jar with chili flakes. I mistook it for cinnamon and added it to my drink. It completely ruined the coffee and made it impossible to drink. A simple label could easily prevent this kind of mistake in the future.

Super cute and cozy spot! Great coffee, awesome variety on the menu and the pastries. Staff is super friendly too, feels really welcoming. 💯

We arrived around 3pm and had no trouble finding seating. I ordered two matcha choco lattes. I'm not usually a big fan of matcha, but these were absolutely delicious!

Google
Small coffee bar with an extensive drink menu and great baked goods. The matcha was strong and smooth, lots of good flavours here. Very cozy atmosphere overall, but it’s a small bar/shop that is suited for 1-on-1 coffee dates than bigger groups.

Yelp
This is a cute coffee shop! I loved it! I ordered the matcha latte with vanilla syrup & a ham, egg and cheese sandwich. It was really yummy! Nice & fast customer service. Highly recommend 10/10

Yelp
Wow! It's a small but cozy space. The americano is 100% on point--slightly sweet, fruity in taste, and definitely nice! The decor is retro and warm, and the service is great too.

Yelp
Love this cafe! It was my first time hearing about this spot, and I was very pleased with my experience here. I really like how diverse the menu is and how there's a great number of pastries to choose from, too. Matcha Choco Latte: The matcha choco latte was amazing - not too overwhelming and the right amount of sweetness. Almond croissant: The almond croissant was amazing, and lots of filling inside. They offer to heat it up for you as well. Great quality drinks and pastries. The only downside is that there's a bit of a limited amount of seats and not much of a place to work here it's more of a short, quick bite place or a to-go spot.

Yelp
Sunday downtown exploration, this coffee shop showed up on our map on our way to Trinity Bellwoods. Tucked downstairs on John Street, this is a small coffee shop with a few spots for seating and wifi. The menu is nicely designed with a chalk board of all of their drink items and baked goods. I ordered a roasted matcha latte and my husband ordered a flat white. I'm lactose intolerant and they had a variety of alternative Silk brand alternatives from oat milk to almond milk. Roasted matcha was essentially a hojicha latte - I found that there was very little hojicha taste and too much almond milk. The flat white tasted watery as well. Although the drinks missed the mark for us, the customer service was incredible, the cafe was spotless & clean and the cafe had a lot of customers.

Yelp
My favourite coffee shop we went to while in town. It's down a side street and kind of hidden - look for the white coffee banner and head down the steps. The coffee was great. Lots of options. The pastries were delicious, the almond chocolate croissant was great and they offered to warm them up - not over heat them! Service was good. Would recommend.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop! I had their latte & breakfast sandwich and both were tasty. The ambience was quiet and cozy. Not too crowded when I walked in around noon.

Yelp
Daily Dose Coffee Bar is located on John St. between Adelaide and Richmond where they've replaced the old Dark Horse Espresso location. The coffee shop is located in the basement level of the building where there are a few steps to navigate to reach the entrance. The bar has limited seating where there are some bar stools spread throughout. The café serves a variety of beverages including coffees and teas. There are also baked goods available for purchase. I stopped by Daily Dose Coffee Bar on a Thurs afternoon after work. Service was friendly and my beverage was made at a reasonable time. I opted to get the flat white (single shot) with oat milk. However, if you'd like to substitute for oat milk, the cost is $1.25 (a bit high to be honest). My beverage was quite hot but it was made well. Service was friendly. Overall, good location and friendly staff.

Yelp
Jack and myself here earlier for real excellent coffee drinks and a chocolate chip cookie. Cool setting in basement area. Some food and cookie options. We like.

Yelp
Solid drip and a cute place to sit outside to enjoy the busy city. Good amount of baked goods options as well for a quick bite

Yelp
I picked up an Americano and broccoli cheddar scones on the way to work. Great little spot with the classic cafe favourites and some interesting lattes. The broccoli cheddar scones was excellent. Fluffy, savoury, herby, crispy edges. Service is friendly. FYI the cafe is a few steps downstairs so may not be accessible for those with mobility issues.

Yelp
Perfect place to get a cup of coffee, pastry, and work. I love the feature of not having music playing in the cafe - helped me focus a lot better on my tasks. Also had a great almond croissant to go with the coffee. Would definitely come back next time I'm in Toronto.

Yelp
That was a nice coffee bar where i spending all my afternoons. Staff was very kind and you could talk with them if you are boring&they are not busy. They have lots kind of coffees, tea, and hot chocolates. They also have nice bakery foods. Like cookies and crossant. I've tried cookies and it taste good! And this place is pets friendly, Free WiFi. Nice place!

Yelp
Pleasant in-door and out-door seating, efficient service (order at the far end of the counter), and a good range of light foods. There is a counter space for laptop users and a few indoor tables. The indoor space is in the basement, the outdoor space is at street level. Not my favorite, but seems to be very popular.

Yelp
This location, tucked away in a cozy basement on John St., was a Dark Horse coffee back when the pandemic happened. Reborn now as an independent espresso shop. Very good flavor-infused drinks (lavender, turmeric)). But my favorite espresso drink is a cortado and it was great.

Yelp
Very nice quiet little coffee bar! The owner is very friendly and passionate about her business. Always nice to support a small local business. Highly recommend you to try this little place out if you are around the area and is looking for a quiet place to sit and chill at!

Yelp
Small coffee bar with limited seating, but excellent coffee drinks at reasonable prices. Most food items are from Petite Thuet so not cheap, but good quality. What sets D.D. apart is its atmosphere and the friendly and attentive staff. Also unusually for Toronto, SPOTLESSLY clean. Fast becoming my go-to for a caffeine break.
