Sigh. Another day, another fishy order from Daily Seafood. Look at the dark heads on these spot prawns! I wish I could transmit the smell through the screen. I've made several orders now, and every time I find myself praying it arrives okay, but I have received far too many orders that were just not safe and caused physical symptoms and I had to throw them out. Life is far too short to be playing diarrhoea roulette. The 3kg spot prawns came with a single ice pack but was not insulated at all. This is the last straw; I've wasted so much money gambling on Daily Seafood. I ordered spot prawns from another retailer and the frozen shrimp had pink heads with no fishy smell, so I know this isn't just "how it is". I will be moving on from this retailer.

I want to share my extremely positive experience with the service I have received from Daily Seafood. I recently ordered various kinds of oysters from them to celebrate a special birthday. All our guests really enjoyed their tastes and freshness. I have already shared my favorable experience with many people and I would recommend Daily Seafood to any fish and seafood lovers. Francine

I've been ordering from Daily Seafood for 5 years, and I've been very happy with everything I've ordered. They have a impressive selection of fish that no other fish store has, all of the highest quality, as well as items like seaweed salad from Japan. Their Icelandic cod and Icelandic arctic char are the best I've ever had, and I love their Scottish salmon and smoked salmon. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Daily Seafood.

I ordered after seeing some good photos in the reviews, but I was quite disappointed. First, the sashimi wasn’t very fresh. Second, the way the fish is weighed feels unclear—6oz should be 6, and 7oz should be 7, but listing it as 6–7oz makes it uncertain. The yellowtail I received was much smaller than the other fish, and when I checked later, it turned out to be only 5oz. Lastly, I ordered otoro, but what I received looked more like chutoro. I would recommend trying a different place instead.

I have brought over 5 times with Daily Seafood. Mostly after the oyster, since they are always fresh (they will check every single oyster before giving it to you) and much reasonable price. Next time I will try their Japanese sashimi and fishes.

Hidden Gem! Heard about this through a friend and gave it a try myself. We ordered the BC Uni, Uni Pasta Sauce, O-Toro, and Salmon, all of it was top notch! The delivery was smooth and on time. Can't wait until they deliver to Ottawa again! Pricing and quality is on point!

As a private chef, I use Daily Seafood almost on a weekly basis. All the products I've received have been very high quality. I love the quick turnaround for deliveries and the accurate delivery windows. Out of approx. 40 orders I've placed, the only issue I've ever had was being shorted an item on one order, but after speaking with customer service the problem was rectified immediately. Will continue to use Daily in all my future endeavours.

I highly recommend this place for seafood! The produce is very fresh and there’s quite a variety of products for the seafood lovers. What I liked about their online ordering is it specifies where the fish or seafood is sourced from as it’s important to know where we are getting the food we consume. The freshness of fish is top quality and equal to what’s being served in high end restaurants. The service is exceptional- delivery is fast!!
