Yelp
I love you Daimyo. Daimyo is a franchise since I saw more than one location in Fukuoka, Japan. I got the matcha and vanilla swirl, and it tasted delicious in the near 100 degree weather. 10/10 would recommend! The texture is very soft. They make their cones with bamboo charcoal which is supposed to have a detoxifying effect.

Yelp
I wanted soft serve after we checked out Maizuru Park and all the cherry blossoms. Hard work, you know? There wasn't a ton of options coming up but Daimyo Softcream looked promising. It's located next door to Shizuku Burger Grill. We dropped in on a Tuesday evening (around 5:55pm). We got sooooo lucky because they were closing at 6pm that day to install new machines. We ordered right away, sat outside on the bench and watched them politely reject a ridiculous amount of (sad) people. The inside is small with 5 tables to sit at in the back. They even have merchandise for sale. The menu is short and sweet; two set options, 6 soft ice cream flavours and drinks. - Milk ice cream (¥480) - smooth, creamy texture. The milky flavour was excellent. The cone is unfortunately one of those cheap, crappy ones you get when you're a kid. At least it's black to keep with the hipster vibe. Slightly on the pricey side but the soft serve was tasty. Only 4 stars because the cone quality is weak.

Yelp
Best soft cream (soft serve) in Fukuoka! Expect a small to medium line. Have a soft cream and walk around the hip area of Daimyo.
