We first visited this establishment in 1991 when our daughter was 4 years old, so we thought it would be interesting to bring her and her family back here 33 years later !|We definitely weren't disappointed !! The accommodation is quite basic (tent-houses on platforms, albeit with en-suite toilet & shower) but they make no bones about this in their advertising - and the experience of living in the rainforest for a couple of nights was excellent. The night walk in the rainforest, led and explained very well by Odin (not sure of spelling) was definitely worthwhile - even though we joined it with some trepidation ! Steve & Sally were excellent hosts - Steve is a keen astronomer so we really enjoyed the views of Jupiter through one of his many telescopes, as wells his impromptu explanation of the stars in the Orion constellation (plus others), and Sally is an excellent chef who cooked up some great meals for all of us the first night.|A highly recommended experience - but, as clearly stated in their adverts, it's not a luxury resort or party venue, so don't go there if that's what you're looking for !|And they did leave the overhead fans on overnight, even though they indicated on their "Must Read" email that the power could be off overnight - we were very pleased that they left it on !

Stayed at Daintree Crocodylus with family including young children. It was a terrific experience. The cabin worked well for a family of 5 - it was spacious and the beds were comfortable and having our own bathroom was great. We loved the jungle trail and the night tour was excellent too. The cafe is fabulous- great food (generous serves!), great for children as well as adults. And the staff are amazing- so friendly and helpful. Thanks to all.

The most beautiful place in the forest! We had an amazing experience! The staff it is lovely and made our time there much better. Special thanks to Steve (that made or dreams come true), the beautiful lady that cooked our amazing food and the young tour guide Odin that revealed us the secrets of the forest.

Myself and three others stayed at Crocodylus recently! We were greeted by friendly staff! Steve meet us a with a smile and a sense of humour accomodating us! We are a delicious meal that was very generous in portions! We then conducted the jungle night tour which was hosted by an exceptional young man who’s knowledge and passion for the Daintree rainforest was unmatched! Would highly recommend make this apart of your adventure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My partner and I initially came up to Crocodylus for one night and loved it so much we decided to extend an extra night! Sally and Steve were lovely and Faye was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond in providing us with local spots to see. I’ll definitely be bringing my friends here when they come to visit!

Fabulous simplicity, warm welcome and comfortable clean accommodation. 2 adults 2 children very happy with our rainforest stay. Food was delicious. We didn't do the guided night walk but heard others say how great it was. Helpful staff and well run. Highly recommend.

One-in-a lifetime experience! Best of the stays in the daintree forest. Beautiful location, accomodation, even the food was michelin star worth it. Steve is a lovely man who will make your dreams come true, specially if your dream is spotting a Cassowary! Totally recommended and so greeted to Steve.

We spent 2 nights here as a family of 5 (children aged 12, 9, and 4) in August and had an amazing time. The experience of sleeping in the rainforest was incredible and the site itself was well equipped - including a good self-catering option and varied restaurant menu - and comfortable. Our children loved every minute of it and didn't want to leave! It is exactly as it says on the tin - basic, laid back, off-grid, wildlife and nature-focused. Highly recommend to anyone travelling through this part of Australia to spend a night or two here.
