Incredibly informative and very well done to educate and inform. Truly enjoyed wandering and learning about the rainforest and all the species as well as the importance of the environment and the various custodians looking to protect it for generations to come.

We stopped here on our way to Cape Tribulation. The walks through the forest were great, and the tower up in the canopy gives a great perspective. The interpretations were also fantastic, both signs and the speaker you listen to on your walk. There was also a child friendly version which our 9 year old thought was great. We enjoyed spotting fish and turtles in the creek. Staff were very friendly.

A great place to visit. Went with a 2 year old and 7 year old. It was easy for the toddler to walk about and explore the elevated board walks without those heart stopping “they can fit through that gap” worries. Umbrellas to borrow as you go round plus lots of inside stops to check out if the rain gets too dramatic. Really recommend

After paying $50 for the return ferry journey to get here, the Discovey Centre were offering an interactive walk including tree top canope for over $40. Yeh?..... No thanks! If you are reading this, think twice before heading to Great Trib. We certainly won't be back. There are plenty of other places in Australia to view prestine beaches, rainforest and animal life that are free.

🌴 5/5 Stars – Nature's Spa with a Side of Mosquitoes 🌿 I came to the Daintree Recovery Centre to "reconnect with myself" — which I thought meant yoga and smoothies. Turns out, it meant battling my inner demons and a few very determined geckos. First of all, the setting is unreal. Towering trees, chirping birds, and air so fresh it made my city lungs cry actual tears of joy. If Mother Nature had a living room, this would be it. The mosquitoes are also on the tour so bring repellant or prepare to be one with the ecosystem. Would I go back? Absolutely. I left feeling lighter, brighter, and only slightly bitten. Daintree Recovery Centre: where your soul heals and your phone signal dies (in the best way). Namaste and pass the bug spray.

Fun little rainforest immersive experience on the boardwalks through the discovery centre as a way to explore each level of the rainforest canopy. The tower was especially fun to walk to the top. Would be cool if you had a drone… (no signs saying otherwise 👀) Staff were lovely and amenities great. $41 per adult, $38 for students and concession card holders. (You can return in the next 7 days included in that price - but we wouldn’t as there’s not much extra to do after your initial visit). Worth the cost to keep a beautiful place open and funded. Ignore the other reviews! You get a little radio to listen to educational audio and a booklet. A great way to cater to different learning styles. Hot top- we got 10% off for staying at a local campsite the night before and asking for a map. Allow 1-1.5h to spend here. Definitely worth do in even if raining that day, they have courtesy umberellas to borrow if you don’t have a rain jacket.

Photos dont do this area justice!!!! If you're heading to the Daintree Rainforest, the Daintree Discovery Centre is the perfect place to start. The canopy tower and aerial walkways offer stunning views and a great intro to the rainforest’s unique ecosystem. The interactive displays and audio guides make it easy to learn at your own pace. It’s a well-run spot that brings the Daintree to life, great for first-time visitors and nature lovers alike. Must-do: Climb the tower for panoramic rainforest views!

There is a lot of information about the environment here - plants, animals indigenous people and culture. Too much to take absorb in one go. Make sure you have lots of time to take it in. Climb the tower, look at the displays, listen to the commentary and ask all your questions.
