We enjoyed the walk round the Daintree Discovery Centre, very informative and well laid out, roughly spent around an hour exploring. The view of the tree canopies from the top of the Skywalk is very impressive. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although, more chance of seeing a dinosaur than a Cassowary :)

We stopped here on our way to Cape Tribulation. The walks through the forest were great, and the tower up in the canopy gives a great perspective. The interpretations were also fantastic, both signs and the speaker you listen to on your walk. There was also a child friendly version which our 9 year old thought was great. We enjoyed spotting fish and turtles in the creek. Staff were very friendly.

Firstly, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Explained it so well before we went in and the experience was all the better for it. Definitely worth the visit and so much to explore at the Daintree

Incredibly informative and very well done to educate and inform. Truly enjoyed wandering and learning about the rainforest and all the species as well as the importance of the environment and the various custodians looking to protect it for generations to come.

A great place to visit. Went with a 2 year old and 7 year old. It was easy for the toddler to walk about and explore the elevated board walks without those heart stopping “they can fit through that gap” worries. Umbrellas to borrow as you go round plus lots of inside stops to check out if the rain gets too dramatic. Really recommend

An excellent activity with lots of information and an audio commentary covering all aspects of the Rain Forrest. A pleasant drive from Cairns to getthere

I had originally over looked this as a stop in our trip but I am glad we went there. The best way to learn and understand the dynamics of the rain forest. Great boardwalks and a tower so you get lots of different perspectives too.

This is a great place to get a great introduction to the rainforest! Sure, you can just wander into the bush and do your own thing, but here you can learn about the plants, animals and people that make this place so special. The elevated tree walk and canopy tower are worth the price of admission, the audio tour is an awesome addition. You'll have such an appreciation for this place once you leave....and then you can explore the bush on your own :-)

Yelp
For $35.OO you will walk around for 45 minutes on a audio headset tour, trying to chase down numbers that are out of order, looking for wildlife, only to find plants... lots and lots of plants three small birds, and a tiny green frog, very disappointing. My guess is, there was wildlife there at one time, however they gave flight once people came in and cleaned the rainforest, pushing the wildlife out, we didn't even see a fly anywhere. Oh wait! I lied, there are animals out there, however I don't think mechanical dinosaurs count, but after all, we did see (man made) animals, and they don't muck up the rainforest. My advice to you is to save your money on this place and spend it on the great barrier reef.
