Daintree Ecolodge

Absolutely stunning location and never to be forgotten experience = perfect for those who want an intimate setting with some of the best - if not the best - food in the area. Only 14 lodges, you feel immersed in the gorgeous rainforest. Staff are accomodating, friendly informative and make you feel very very welcome. Would go back in a heartbeat, They recommended the best bird/wildlife cruise we have ever been on. Dont miss this place if you want a piece of heaven in the daintree.

We really enjoyed our stay here and wish we had more time. The location is great- right off the road but within the rainforest so you get all the sights and sounds around you. The room we stayed in was large, clean and comfortable with its own enclosed balcony to sit and relax. The staff- especially Rob and his wife (I’m sorry I forgot her name!) - were so warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make our experience special and answer our questions. We highly recommend eating at the restaurant on site since the menu changes daily and is inspired by native Australian ingredients.

What a very special place this is, we instantly felt welcomed and were upgraded to a Canopy room. The room was simple but complemented the environment and had everything for a comfortable stay.The amenities were top class and all natural. The screened veranda was magic, listening to all the sounds of nature. It was my birthday while there and Richmond helped my husband plan a surprise visit to the Spa which was incredible ! Infact all the staff were wonderful, Matti, Vince, Rob. Thank you all. If you are a nature lover , enjoy good food, excellent service, it's a must stay.

We ate here for lunch (they have recently extended their restaurant hours to offer lunch as well as breakfast and dinner). There is a limited menu for lunch which we were told about in advance. It was absolutely lovely. Beautiful food, beautiful setting, lovely service. A truly wonderful way to immerse yourself in the Daintree. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay! The hotel was clean and comfortable. Special shout-out to Richmond, whose helpfulness and friendliness made our experience truly memorable. Highly recommend this gem if you're visiting the area!

Over an hour drive from Cairns, the pictures online do not do this place justice. The staff are amazing specifically managers Robby and his partner Julia, who made sure everything was catered for personally. The rest of the staff are perfect, and the food is 5-star quality every single time, can recommend the Spa, the dining experiences, the rooms have been refurbished so they are more modern, personally I loved the lagoon rooms for the amazing view. This place is an amazing find, perfect for couple getaway!! (tipping optional, but I spent around $400 in tips alone when I left).

A perfect 2-night vacay within nature. Warm and friendly staff, lovely breakfasts and dinners. The place was just perfect. Kudos to the staff for the amazing hospitality. A wonderful rainforest experience overall!

Beautiful, stylish hotel in the middle of the rainforest, very Soho House-esque. We loved chilling on the verandah in our room listening to the sounds of the babbling stream and abundant wildlife. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Oh and the spa was also great, we can recommend the Welcome treatment!
