Daintree Ecolodge

This is a little piece of heaven! Our stay at the Daintree ecolodge could not been any better if they tried! The staff, Ben, Julia and the whole team made our stay so special. It is an absolute gem. The rooms are like hidden tree houses, large, spacious with amazing views overlooking the rainforest and impeccably designed and spotlessly clean. The food was out of this world. Every meal was delicious, generous portions and beautifully presented. Hats off to the chefs! The team’s love of wildlife is amazing. We became a bunch of wildlife explorers, staff and guests, all excitedly pointing out wildlife right there in the premises. We saw a python, a tree snake, a forest dragon and tiny baby green tree frogs right from our breakfast table! The staff’s enthusiasm with the wildlife was wonderful to witness and made it more special for us. The staff are extremely helpful, we had a puncture during our stay and they were on hand with any help that we needed to get the issue solved. It almost felt like staying with family! We also did two tours recommended by them and they were excellent and great value for money. Rob the manager has created a wonderful team and we will definitely be going back again and recommending The Daintree ecolodge to all of our friends.

I surprised my husband for our 20th Wedding Anniversary a sneaky getaway before we renew our 20 years vowel renewal. What can I say, the communication leading up to our arrival, amazing. Everything I requested, catered for effortlessly. From our personalized check in to the cultural and traditional massages capturing culture and native scents. Wow and the amazing dining experience. The first night we dined on the deck and we were seated in a beautiful spot overlooking the large pond. Our second evening we booked the private dining experience and my goodness, absolutely stunning and what an experience and the location. A special shout out to Maggie, you made out dining experience on both nights incredible. Your attention to detail and the service you provided was absolutely 5 star. The GM also greeted us at breakfast while making our coffees and serving our breakfast. Absolute amazing to see. Another special shout out to Bryce, one of the chefs that prepared some of the meals during our 6 course dining experience and wow 😳 absolutely amazing food and even came out to serve our desserts. Both my husband and I just want to give a warm heartfelt thank you to all the staff and management at Daintree Eco Lodge 26/11 to 28/11, you guys made our special getaway personalized and unforgettable. We will definitely be back as well as spread the word of this fabulous hideaway situated in a magical destination. Thanks Again 💍🩷🥂

Absolutely fantastic! We stopped here for lunch after a crocodile tour and found it with a quick Google search — what a gem! The food and service were outstanding, easily the best meal of our holiday so far. The atmosphere was perfect, dining and relaxing by the pond surrounded by nature. It was peaceful, scenic, and truly special. After our meal, we took the short 750m return nature walk to the waterfall, which was a beautiful bonus. We only wish we had chosen to stay at this eco lodge for our time in the Daintree — highly recommended!

Best hotel I have been to in a long time. The food was incredible, the staff was so kind and helped with useful information about the surrounding area. Felt very luxurious being in the middle of the rainforest. Th complimentary laundry was also a nice touch after hiking in the area. Tried the spa as well and it offers relaxing services.

Stunning location and the canopy treehouse was perfect! It was magical to be immersed within nature and we enjoyed the walk to the waterfall. Every meal was delicious, with decent portion sizes and having fruit and muffins served at breakfast, as an addition was a nice (and tasty) touch. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Hubby and I enjoyed incredible massages at the Spa and the ladies created a beautifully tranquil setting. Hubby was so relaxed he nodded off a few times and I loved every second of my foot massage.

This very unique and special accommodation was amazing to stay at and enjoy. Our Rainforest Hideaway bayan offered us tranquil surrounds - listening to the delights of bird songs and the gentle sounds of the running stream. The food was amazing and a credit to the chefs that prepared it for all of the guests staying. Each staff member was so super friendly and helpful.... I highly recommend enjoying the experience of staying at the Daintree Eco Lodge.

We stayed here a few nights on our honeymoon. Our canopy treehouse room was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, as were all the other spaces. We slept with the windows open at night to listen to the frogs and birds, as was recommended, and it was such a cool experience (although very hot-- they do have AC, though, for when the windows are closed). The staff were all wonderful. The food was great, although expensive. We had a great time exploring the area. Would highly recommend!

This was a unique place in that every room is its own small “house”. You get to enjoy being a part of the rainforest. The resort is beautiful. Loved the screened in porch. We also had two dinners here and they were excellent as were the drinks.||There is a small hike to a waterfall on the property that was beautiful and a nice small adventure. For larger adventures the staff helped us with a river tour at sunset which was beautiful. ||My only call out is I do feel it most appropriate for couples due to the relaxed romantic vibe. ||You can hear neighbors a bit due to the open design but this is also what makes it special.
