Suddenly decided to stay at Daintree Rainforest for a night during our time in Cairns and was lucky enough to get a cabin last minute. We had no clue what a treat we were in for and didn't realise how beautiful the wilderness lodge was until we got there! Lovely clean cabins with comfortable beds. The outdoor dining area blew us away and was definitely the best experience that I won't ever forget. Dinner and cocktails were outstanding as was breakfast. The staff are also very lovely and accommodating. They were kind enough to disinfect and dress my wound that wouldn't stop bleeding too because I got attacked from the male peacock up the road 😂 This place does not disappoint and will definitely be returning here in future

European flair in the Daintree rainforest! We were greeted on arrival with scented, refreshing towels and welcome drink by Sasha the lodge’s competent manager. This set the tone for our 3 night stay with excellent, attentive service throughout. The cabins are very clean, breakfast is wonderful and we enjoyed sampling the dinner menu, which will satiate the epicurean palate. We were always met with warm smiles which is a testimony to this young team’s desire to make the most of your Daintree experience. Many thanks to Sasha, Gina and all for a very memorable stay. Exceeded expectations!

We had a two night stay here and it was amazing. The rooms were great, the food was excellent and the location perfect. It was a unique experience with the lodges in the forest and the beautiful surrounding areas. We went to Cape Tribulation and it was breathtaking, also on our return journey we visited the Daintree Discovery Centre which was very informative and again beautiful. Thanks to Vivienne and Team for the friendly welcome.

Expecting the Wilderness Lodge to be buried deep in Daintree Forest, in reality it’s about a minute’s drive off the main Cape Tribulation Road. That aside, I hoped that there would be decent length boardwalks/trails to explore deeper into the forest…however, per the girl on reception there was just one trail that didn’t take us very far at all. In fact, information for getting the most out of our stay was thin on the ground. On the plus side, the cabins themselves were suitably eco comfortable, and the rain pelting down outside added to the authentic ancient forest feeling. The roo steaks at dinner were cooked to perfection…as for breakfast the following morning, it was a frugal affair – and I really don’t understand the inflexibility around breakfast sittings? At over AUD$500 a night, our much anticipated stay fell short of expectations.

Fantastic stay. We couldn’t have had a better time…our lodge was amazing in the heart of the forest, all the staff were just brilliant and the food was perfect. We were made extremely welcome by the friendly staff who all went beyond to make our stay special. The facilities are breathtaking, especially the spa pool under the trees and the shower in our lodge with a glass window looking into the rainforest…..wow

Loved this lodge. The staff is excellent. The restaurant meals were delicious and the accommodations clean and comfortable. We were greeted by this guy on our arrival which was quite the treat although a bit surprising as he walked up and pecked my phone. Glad he decided to be friendly.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Daintree Wilderness Lodge. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and luxurious, the food was delicious, and the whole experience was unique. I highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Daintree for an affordable but luxurious experience in the rainforest.

Amazing stay in the Daintree. The lodge was one of the highlights of our Australia vacation. ||Staff were amazing, food in the restaurant was very good. The cabins were amazing, we had two separate cabins and both were very nice, the location is absolutely amazing.||We did our own walk which was awesome, didn’t see any Kasawari on the walk, but there was evidence they were there on the ground.||Very glad we chose to stay at the Daintree Wilderness Lodge, highly recommend.

Yelp
This rainforest eco-lodge is a top-end place to stay in the Daintree Peninsula. There are cabins right in the jungle, connected by boardwalks. They catch rainwater, minimise the use of electricity, make everything out of wood, and use lots of natural light. It's not roughing it, though: the dining is fine, and the bar is well-stocked. It's one of the best places to stay in the area: luxury, but in the rainforest and with minimal environmental impact.

Yelp
Quaint. Great food. Nothing to do. If you want quiet, limited menu,, full bar, rustic accommodations that are thoroughly acceptable, this could be for you. If you want anything to do other than a 15 minute walk in the rainforest or a 30 minute walk to and from ice cream, don't stop here. Personally a nice relaxing peaceful stop in an otherwise full of excitement trip was very nice. The food is fantastic, although choices are limited, and it's pretty cool staying in an elevated hut in the rainforest.
