Daiquiri Deck Siesta Key Village

I’ve been traveling around Florida for the past three weeks, and I happened to stumble upon Daiquiri’s Deck. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Brook, who immediately went out of their way to make me comfortable by moving a heat lamp to my table after I mentioned the weather. The service was exceptional. I ordered the coconut shrimp and mac and cheese, and the chef even graciously scrambled fresh eggs for me at 3:30 p.m. I truly felt accommodated and cared for, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I had an amazing lunch and a wonderful experience. I would absolutely recommend stopping by.

Brook was amazing! We brought our fish from the morning fishing trip and did their "Catch and Cook". A great deal and delicious food!! Definitely recommend!!

With so many little restaurants to choose from in the village on Siesta Key you would be wise to give this place a try on your next visit. From the outstanding service to beach atmosphere without being on the beach, it is worth it. For starters, the service was exceptional, and our server was consistent in ensuring we were doing okay. My wife ordered fish and chips and let me tell you, their chips are truly delicious. The burger I ordered had a definite seasoning to it that has made it one of my favorite burgers on the Key, and in Sarasota. The only real downside to this location, and pretty much every other restaurant in the village, is parking.

We had lunch here on March 7. The hostess was unfriendly and unwelcoming. She seemed bothered by us arriving. Our waitress was pleasant but never smiled and was all business. The food took a long time and was mediocre. There are a lot of choices for dining in Siesta Key and this restaurant needs to greatly improve their customer service, food quality and their general culture. It needs to be a friendly, welcoming place. The management needs to get involved on a daily basis and change the atmosphere.

The drinks were just as impressive—perfectly mixed, refreshing, and exactly what you want when dining in Sarasota. Between the excellent food, top-tier service, and lively yet relaxing atmosphere, Daiquiri Deck truly delivers a five-star dining experience. Wow we had such a great time dog 🐶 friendly we live in St Petersburg and took a trip down south to see how our neighbors had fared all the storms, much to our surprise everything seemed to be recovering well . One of the places I wanted to see was siesta key and a friend of mine had told me they had a really good time at The daiquiri Deck there so I thought it would be a great stop little did I know it was going to be an outstanding stop I have travelled cruise ships Bahamas, Jamaica ,Mexico and I'm telling you right now that was the very best rum runner I've ever had of course the kind that you can't just have one and I'll say thank goodness I wasn't driving, okay so let's check off best drink now we'll move on to food 🥑 since we were on the move we were going to just have a drink and appetizer and move on, are waitress was so nice suggested the nachos and mahi-mahi bites, out of this world good 👍💯 and whatever the mixture of cheese was on those nachos, the overall experience , without a doubt I will be returning, as a native I give the daiquiri Deck 120 out of 100 can't wait to return

This place is so fun! I loved trying all the daiquiri combinations! Great happy hour on a hot day. Our server Brook was so welcoming and friendly. She made our experience at daiquiri deck a 10/10 with her recommendations and hospitality. Check this place out if you’re in siesta key!

We had Brook yesterday as our server and she provided fantastic advice and wonderful service for the four of us. We asked about various options and taliored our orders based on her recommendations. Everyone loved their selections and I was especially impressed with the Jambalaya (which I ordered with pasta instead of rice). Quite frankly it was one of the best Jambalaya dishes I've ever had. I'm definitely going back and will be getting that again. One more shout out to Brook. She had mentioned the clam chowder as being one of the favorites and I mentioned how I really liked that but was going to go with the Jambalaya. At the end of the meal, Brook, brought me a sample of the Chowder which was fantastic as well. So now, I'll be ordered both on my return visit.

It was a busy evening for Daiquiri Deck and definitely understaffed. Our wait person tried her best to keep up but it was kind of unmanageable for one person. With that said, we had long waits for service, utensils and getting our check. I had the fish and chips. This consisted of 2 large pieces of cod and a large serving of curly steak fries. It was okay. Basically tasted like a good fast food. As far as the daiquiris...I'm from New Orleans, home of the frozen daiquiris (among other things!). These daiquiris were meh in comparison. Definitely needed some flavor and more alcohol! Nice atmosphere for okay food.

Fresh food, large portions nestled in a touristy Florida beach town. Great spot to wind down after a long day at the beach. The fish entrees were a hit at our table, highly recommend the shrimp po boy!

We had a great time today at the Daiquiri Deck on Siesta Key... great drinks and fun atmosphere. Stewart was our bartender and he took great care of us... we will definitely be back.

Goto Happy Hour! I cannot express this enough. Food was ok, Hush Puppies weren't great! Daquiri's are where it's at. They named it this for a reason. Expect to pay to park and it's not cheap. Service was good!!

great little spot that i'd imagine would be a lot more lively and fun when it's warmer out! they have a huge variety of daquiri flavors which is super fun and unique. the coffee one was especially delicious. there's also a great view of the island up on this deck. i would love to come back here over the summer to enjoy an icy slushy daquiri!

Very busy, but we got sat right away. Live music. Friendly staff. Lobster roll was okay, but the dill sauce with fries was amazing. They have virgin daiquiris too. Credit/debit accepted. Restrooms. Would eat here again!

During our day trip to Sarasota, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon Daiquiri Deck, and it turned out to be a fantastic find! The name intrigued us, and the array of drinks lived up to our expectations. Sitting at the bar, we were entertained by a funny bartender with great banter. Although the drinks were a bit pricey, they were delicious and packed a punch, making our experience at Daiquiri Deck a fun and memorable one. My boyfriend ordered the Pain in The Ass & Bat Shit Crazy because it said it reminded him of me, lmao!

Food was okay and the drinks were okay as well. These type of places are all fairly typical..... and likely more targeted for the younger more party frenzy night out FUN people. Worth giving it a try.

I visit the daiquiri deck everytime I come to Florida. It's one of my favorite places. The staff is always great and very friendly. The food is good and the drinks are amazing. They have such a large variety of frozen daiquiris. You can sit at the bar, inside or my go to on the deck. It's a very cute place. I highly recommend checking it out.

Came here for some daiquiris. Love the atmosphere and the drinks. Parking is hard but patient. It's worth the wait. Ordered the Venice one which is strawberry and pina colada. Will come here every time we are in Sarasota. Trust!

We came here a total of 3 times on our trip. First time was for drinks, they have a nice array of flavors and you can mix them up. They are sweet and strong! Second time we came for dinner, I had blackened mahi tacos which were surprisingly good, full of flavor and hearty. The hubby had beef nachos which were also delicious. Third and last time was our last night in siesta key and this was one of pub stops since we remembered they had good frozen drinks and the music was jamming. Many people dancing and having a good time. Dj was playing old school genx and millennial music so everyone was having a great time. Definitely great way to end our night and trip.

We ate here for lunch and dinner over the week while being on spring break. We were always sat pretty quickly in the service was pretty good as well. There is a large menu to choose from as far as daiquiris as they are all premade and there didn't seem to be an option for any handmadedaiquiris

One of a kind, always stop on and grab a couple Daiquiris when I'm in town. Stewart took care of me last time, good guy, great place! IT is definitely a little slice of the tropics!

Wait staff was friendly enough and my server did provide good advice regarding the gator bites (she said not to get them) - so I went for the coconut shrimp which was REALLY good. The tacos were decent but the reason why this place falls short is what I came for : the daiquiris! I had two different kinds and they were the weakest daiquiris I ever had ... for a place that has the word "daiquiri" in its name, I expected much better! Also I sat in the top deck seating but in retrospect it would have probably been nicer to sit outside downstairs.

Must go for the sunset and happy hour! Plenty of space and so many daiquiri flavor options; love the banana and coffee flavors. You can add a floater for a little more. The conch fritters are a must; super crispy and has a crab like consistency.

Able to sit outside and appreciative our server mentioned the Happy Hour prices for some drinks.

After a day at the beach this is the perfect place to come get a cold drink and good meal! We sat at the bar and we happy to find out that we made it in time for happy hour. Our daiquiris were the perfect consistency and were strong but delicious, the best combination . Our bartender made great recommendations and got our order out quickly, they had good music playing and the outside patio was so nice with a great breeze and the fans going kept it nice even in the FL heat.

We stopped here to try the daiquiri drinks and we weren't disappointed. They were so delicious. The atmosphere here is cool. We were there during spring break, so it was very busy and there was a lot going on outside on the street. It was excellent people watching!

Very casual atmosphere and good food. I was pleasantly surprised by the food presentation and quality. Party of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meal and would go back. Wedge salad was a bit pricy ($15 I think) for what we got.

Decided to jump into the Daiquiri Deck on a Sunday night to check it out. We ordered the New England clam chowder with conch fritters and the Shrimp Po Boy. The atmosphere was loud and service could have been better. The wrong chowder was delivered only to be returned for the correct chowder which was Luke warm. The shrimp po boy was good , plenty of shrimp but the roll quickly split making the sandwich difficult to eat. Mediocre food so we will not be returning as there are much better options in the area

My fiancé and I had dinner at Daiquiri Deck after spending the day at the beach. The location is fun and casual, you can sit outside for people watching. The wait staff was friendly, drinks were good, with a great selection to choose from. We ordered a few drinks, calamari, grouper fingers, and lobster tacos. The food was good and tasted fresh, but sides aren't included, which for the price they're charging, should be.

I guess it's a little trendy and a bit touristy too, but it's ok to visit when on Siesta Key. The drink menu is pretty cool if you're into a pre-made frozen drink, and happy hour is pretty sweet ($4.50).....no pun intended. Beer is cold and also cheaper on happy hour. The menu is small but pretty decent for a fried food place, but they could go a lot further to make it even cooler if they expanded a bit. Coming back for the sunset next time but probably have to find a better place for dinner.

We were looking for a fun bar that had good food and was also showing USA playing in the FIFA World Cup match. We came across this place and were very pleased. It was happy hour so we started with frozen daiquiri that were tasty and more than enough rum. The fact that they were only $4 each made it a steal. We ordered the chicken nachos for our app. The chicken had good flavor and a pleasant mix of cheese in the app. For my entree I had the blackened mahi sandwich. The spice was just enough to give it flavor while still being able to taste the mahi. My wife got the lump crab and shrimp Cobb salad. She commented several times how each ingredient kept its own flavor We finished our late lunch with a slice of key lime pie. It was ok, not best but ok. Service was prompt and restaurant çlean. Sadly Team USA ended their match with a tie but still a good choice to eat and chill.

I love the Anna Maria Island location but this one falls short. Service wasn't as friendly. As far as pricing goes, it's a Florida restaurant. It's pricy. Think $120 before tip for a family of 4. Shrimp tacos were good. The virgin daiquiris for kiddos are good too. Happy hour is 3-7pm. If you're going for the famous daiquiris, go then for 1/2 off 16 oz.

Super fun place, multiple flavors to choose from . It's so nice to have it in siesta key. You can walk around with your daiquiri in the village.

This spot is so great! I know it's called Daiquiri Deck but oh my god the variety of daiquiris! Also, their fries are so great, me and my friends had just stopped by for a drink in the village and a snack but I would come again! Also the workers are so nice and funny too.

I was hesitant to come due to negative reviews but I thought, how bad could it be (a bar for frozen drinks?!) anywho we loved it, loved the concept. We came just for pre dinner drinks and I thought all the frozen slushee machines behind the bar were impressive. There had to be at least 12! The bartender was just friendly enough; I had no issues. My husband prefers beer and they had an IPA that he really enjoyed. Good thing because he would never drink a sugary drink but I love them. I got a rum runner. They're half price during happy hour which ends at 7, perfect. My drink was very tasty and though it probably is, it didn't taste like a sugar bomb. Even during regular hours I thought prices were fair. Parking is tricky but it's right in the village. You could also buy a tervis full of a frozen daquari if your choice too. How cool. Not all of them are rum based, some have vodka or vodka and rum. We are going back today LOL. Lots of seating too, so don't worry about snagging a spot to sip on your drink :)

If you like daiquiris, Daiquiri Deck is the place to be. I've never seen so many frozen daiquiri stations behind a bar in my life. It was almost like going to a convenience store where they have all those slushy machines. We visited this Daiquiri Deck in Siesta Key Village two nights in a row, Thursday-Friday. It wasn't too busy on either night, which was kind of sad. I think it may have had to do with the season; in other words, not summer. There were a dozen frozen daiquiri flavors on the menu and 20 frozen daiquiri combos. I got the Pina Colada in a 16-ounce souvenir cup both nights and they tasted consistently good each time ($8 each). Daiquiri Deck's Pina Colada frozen daiquiri is made with rum, pineapple juice, and coconut and topped with black rum. There are five Daiquiri Deck locations in the Sarasota area, going as far north as Bradenton Beach and as far south as Venice. During our time in Siesta Key, we drove past Daiquiri Deck's South Siesta Key location on Stickney Point Road. It looked completely different and more "corporate" than this location in the Village. In fact, of the five locations, I believe this one is the least "polished." It looks the oldest and has the most traditional beach bar feel as opposed to the other Daiquiri Decks which look higher-end and more "chainy" in newer, more contemporary spaces. At this location, it appeared they sat the diners on the lower deck close to the street. Daiquiri Deck has an extensive menu of food that includes oysters, seafood, soups, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and more. During both of our visits, we hung out on the upper inside deck where the frozen daiquiri bar is located. On our Friday night visit, there was a live DJ and a giant fan to keep customers cool. That night, the upper deck space was cleared out, standing-room only and partially used for dancing. Since it wasn't busy, service at the bar was speedy. We actually had the same bartender both nights. She worked efficiently, but personality-wise, she didn't seem very friendly. Her attitude was she didn't want to be there. I recall there being a security officer at the steps up to the bar on Friday night, but not on Thursday night. I think Daiquiri Deck is worth stopping by if bar-hopping in Siesta Key Village.

The Daiquiri Deck is a great place to get a frozen drink from their plethora of daquiri machines on a hot summer day. We dropped in for lunch the day we arrived in Siesta Key. The hostess sat us on the porch a table with a nice breeze; it was so great to cool off. I ordered a strawberry-coconut type drink that was delicious, but could have used a little more alcohol in it. The food was decent, not the best; but I see people coming here more for drinks than the food. Service was good. We had a young guy taking care of our table while we were there; he was polite and did a good job waiting on us.

This review is from our visit on a weekday in February 2024. If you like daiquiris, DON'T go to Daiquiri Deck. We went to Daiquiri Deck, and 3 of us ordered the BAT SH*# CRAZY daiquiri on a recommendation from our friend. It's described on the menu as "BSC is our strongest combination. Diesel, Rum Runner & Strawberry. Topped with 153 Diesel Fuel." All of us agreed that it was the weakest drink ever. It tasted like a sweet milkshake or smoothie. Where was the alcohol? And we are all lightweight drinkers. It was very disappointing to pay $9 for basically a smoothie. Two of us ordered the jambalaya (Shrimp, Andouille Sausage, Crawfish Peppers, Onions, Celery, Scallions, Tomato, Rice) which we agreed lacked flavor. One person ordered the hushpuppies which also lacked flavor. And we shared the large appetizer combo Siesta Fiesta Platter which was bland. The waitress was pleasant and polite.

It's a great first stop coming into the island from traveling, but as the locals say, it's a tourist trap. Drinks and appetizers for 3-4 people and you're pushing the 2's. But the atmosphere is probably some of the best as you can see everything.

Great brunch menu! Small menu but very unique options. Not too crowded at all for brunch.

Possibly the worst service my family has every experienced. To start the waitress set the tone by telling my 2 year old daughter to "sit". She not only was rude and miserable, but the service was horrible. She scoffed when we ordered waters to start, and not once checked on our order. After dropping off the food, and not asking if we needed anything else to get started, we only saw her once more (and that was dropping off the check). Watching her serving from table to table, she frequently was making faces for crying babies, and had nothing but a negative attitude. Pathetic experience, and after expressing our frustration to the manager on staff, all that she had to say was "she's new".

Service was super slow, food was meh, fun atmosphere but no indoor seating so it was HOT! The frozen drinks are awesome though!

Was in town for the weekend and went to walk around at siesta Key Village and got hungry and stopped in to have dinner. It was a bit late already so there was a DJ by the bar area. Went in to get a dozen drink while we waited for our table. Ambiance was fun and service was great! Food was also delicious lots of seafood options. Looking forward to coming back

My biggest complaint was that the chicken on the chicken sandwich I ordered did not seem to be fully cooked. It was slightly pink but also just seemed like a strange cut of chicken in the first place. Would not recommend. Overall, everyone thought the food was just average. However, happy hour is 3-7 and is a great deal!

It was very good food, and the daiquiris are top notch! I ordered the lobster pasta, and a pina colada!

We stopped by for a few drinks on Sunday afternoon, and Michael the bartender was amazing. We visit this location several times a year, and he was the BEST we have ever had. Thanks Michael :)

Our waitress was very sweet! Didn't remember her pushing anything onto us, appreciate her bubbly attitude. The vegetarian rice bowl was yummy with flavor! I've might've even added too much flavor (if that's even a thing, lol) by having blackened mahi on top. There were a ton of picked red onions, BUT, I'd much rather just avoid an xtra vegetable then wish that there was more. (and onions are super healthy for you anyways! ) Zucchini & yellow squash tasted fresh with a fun crunch, while the rice balanced all the toppings out. And the seats were comfy too! Glad I came here.

Haven't been to siesta key in quite some time. I wasn't exactly sure where to stop and pick up food for takeout to bring to the beach. I Yelped and found the daiquiri deck Offered the kind of drinks I was looking for and sure enough just like a wet willies the daiquiri deck delivered. Although the overall rating isn't as high as I would've liked we ordered food to go as well and we're quite happy with our orders. The fries With each order were very good. I had the crabcake sandwich and it was mostly crab and not a lot of fillers which I appreciate it very much. I would come here again in a heartbeat.

We had the platter with fries, scallops, shrimp, and grouper. We also had the rum runner and the daiquiri. It was very good. The eating area is open to the street and it just had a really good vibe. Nice warm day and very cold drinks! Fun times.

We went here for lunch knowing it was pretty much a drinking establishment - which we don't drink. We had visited a lot of the local restaurant establishments and wanted to try a different one. It was lunch time and there were more people drinking there than eating. Our lunch was mediocre as was our server so we have marked this restaurant as tried and to not return. Just wasn't for us.
